Forged Axe Throwing

From Australia and thought there would be no better thing to do in Canada than throwing axes with the family! So much fun and the team from forged were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone while in Whistler.

Lots of fun! Best to make a reservation. The employees obviously enjoy their jobs which made the experience even better. Threw 2 axes, the big axe and learned some tricks. No food on site, but they have a bar.

Really fun, definitely harder than it looks. I felt very confident in my abilities until I started. The staff really helped correct my stance and throw which made the experience extremely fun.

So much fun! We did this on our honeymoon trip and had a blast. Our guide was fabulous and made the experience! Give it a try, you wont be disappointed #beavisbutthead

Highly recommend this place. Both times in a small group and a big group was a ton of fun. Friendly competitions and chances to get on the hall of fame make this place special. Usually an hour is perfect amount of time to tire you out fromaxe throwing

We had an awesome time here! Sarah taught us all the different types of throws, provided super helpful tips to help us improve and played three different games with us. They packed a lot into our hour time slot, worth it 100%!

This was a fun and unique activity during our weeks vacation. Conor was an awesome teacher at Forged and explained the technique of axe throwing clearly with safety the first priority. My teenage son (whose bullseye and hat toss earned him a place on the Wall of Fame) and husband made it look easy while I myself struggled a bit but still had fun trying. Thanks Conor for a fun afternoon!

Awesome experience! Very patient and kind crew. I basically could not hit the board over and over - but Tristan who was just super kept encouraging me and as a complete surprise to me I started hitting the target! We even won one of the competitions! Thank you so very much. Would go back in an instant.

Forged Axe definitely hits the bullseye when it comes to entertainment. A provider of spirits, axes, and the fun in between.safely in different spaces.is quite the experience, even to those who have thrown axes before. Ask for Ted, his knowledge of Bullseyes and trick shots was wholly unnatural and near omnipotent for an axe throwing guide. Our fun came in the form of axes thrown at targets, Hitting trick shots and nailing the hat trick. Weee. Thud. Way to test our hand eye coordination, we had a great time.

We were visiting Whistler and decided to give Axe throwing a go! It was so much fun, great facilities and really welcoming and helpful staff that got us to try different techniques and played some competitive games to!

So much fun! I have been to Forged with my work group as a team building, super fun! I also recently went to Forged with my family, my son who is 11 had a great time.
Totally reasonable price points and the service is unmatched! You have an instructor with you the entire time walking you through the how to's, giving you great pro tips and leading in fun games.
Highly recommend for all occasions!

Went with my family and friends for my father's 60th birthday.

Staff members Tobias and Liz were absolutely lovely, super kind, and had great senses of humour.

The axe-throwing itself was epic: the demonstrations and safety explained by staff made the experience fun and safe.

Had a great time with a group of friends here, super engaging instructions/games hosted by Liz. Will definitely come back!

We took our family to Forged Axe Throwing last week and had an absolute blast! Liz was excellent teacher and we had a lot of fun competing against a rival family. We even got to throw a fireman's axe at the end.

We had an awesome time! We scheduled this during our corporate retreat and we had a blast. It was so fun learning the different throws and playing the games. Joe is so fun and was a great teacher. I would come here over and over again. We got the charcuterie board and it was AMAZING. We also had a couple drinks and hung out in their outdoor space after our session. I would highly recommend!

My daughter and I visited you on Oct 10 and I wanted to reach out to let you know again what an amazing experience we had! The instruction was excellent; it allowed us to successfully throw almost every time, which increased the fun! Your facilities were just the right esthetic; safe, clean, and welcoming. We did this as a family and all generations had a blast from old to young. We will definitely be doing it again! So much fun and a great way to have some friendly competition amongst family and friends! Great activity for stags/bachelorettes/birthdays or just for a good time. Highly recommend!

I thought it would somewhat boring but my teenager kid really wanted to try it.
It was really fun and my kids and family friend kids loved it better than the zip line they did. The staff (I believe his name was Tristan) made it more fun and safe.

Had a great time here on Dec 18 and our instructor Kitt was great. Was first time throwing and Kitt taught us well. Would recommend this activity of your in the area looking for something new to try out.

Tristan was very rude. Facilities were good and had a good overall experience except for him. Would not recommend.

Had a blast here. We had never done axe throwing before, and they did a great job teaching, making sure it was safe, and setting up some awesome competitive games between the two lanes.

Last week, Beacon HR had their annual company retreat in Whistler B. C.and we spent one of our afternoons with Naf at Forged Axe Throwing. We were especially excited not only for the axe throwing, but for our very first in person retreat since before COVID. We are a diverse group of professionals who work in HR and Recruitment, but we also enjoy some friendly competition from time to time. Forged Axe throwing was a delightful and hilarious treat for all of us. It gave us an opportunity to be silly and have fun with one another outside of the regular 9-5. Every minute spent with Naf was excellent. We'll all remember this awesome day together for years to come. We'll be back! Thank you, Naf!? ?

Had a fantastic time at Forged Axe Throwing. The experience was super fun and Liz was an exceptional coach. Good selection of beers too. Would definately recommend.

We had so much fun at Forged! Liz showed us the basics and got us throwing, then was able to give us really precise individual tips to improve our technique. (It's even more fun to throw axes when you're hitting the target consistently!) The other staff we interacted with were all great too, and we also loved the music.

This was a fun, COVID-friendly indoor activity on a rainy day in Whistler.

Naf, our host, was energetic, fun and great at teaching us the basics so we could get going quickly. Our group got the hang of axe throwing in minutes, and the games Naf set up kept the fun going throughout the booking.

A nice change of pace compared to other stops in Sea to Sky country!

Awesome for work trips when you need to blow off some steam and have fun in the process. We booked the private room in the back and had an absolute blast. Would definitely return again in the future - awesome experience through and through.

This is a fantastic experience - we threw with the whole family from an 8 year old (rubber axes) to grandparents & everyone loved it! The staff are amazing and really look after you, the room & bar is great & when you’re done you can pick up an awesome Forged toque, cap or hoody. Would be 10 stars if I could

This was so much fun! I highly recommend going while you are in Whistler. Our host, Liz, was great. She was so good at helping us make little adjustments to our throws so we were successful. We loved the big axe!

Went today as a couple and had so much fun! We lucked out with having the place to ourselves. Tristan was super helpful, energetic and made the experience fun. He provided tips (never been before) and lead us through some games, while letting us do our own thing. Also impressed with the safety (both axe-wise and COVID vaxx checks and protocols). Definitely recommend!

I've gone here twice now and both experiences were really fun. You have an instructor show you the basics of axe throwing and then they lead you through a game. The venue is really hip and safe. You can also grab beer from their bar (beer not included with entry). The hour goes quickly because it's so much fun!

Had a great time with my two friends. Big thanks to Tristan for being a patient and confident teacher. Managed to get the hang of it by the end! Very fun birthday party activity and enjoyed myself despite not being very strong / good at throwing. The instructions made a big difference. Was sick to have a beer as well

What a great experience for my sales team to come up to Whistler and throw some axes. The staff were incredible, the experience was second to none, and my team left happy and exhilarated. This is a must for any group to do in Whistler.

Great place, exceeded our expectations. Naf‘s friendliness and enthusiasm was extremely contagious and made the hour fly by. We really enjoyed the experience.

I came here with my boyfriend on our last day in Whistler to try out a different activity we've never done before. The owner had actually reached out to us and gave us a coupon code which was extremely generous of them. Before trying axe throwing, I never understood the hype because all you're doing is throwing axes! What's special about that? It's actually much more fun than I had thought. You build the urge inside you to try to get the target (which is harder than it looks) and it becomes a fun activity. There's different throwing techniques and different games as well to play when axe throwing so the hour was well spent for us. I did notice though that the instructor that day (I believe her name was Jackie but I'm not entirely sure) was more attentive towards the other groups than she was with us. I'm not sure if it's because we needed some more practice before trying other games or if the games she introduced to the other groups were more suited for larger groups of people but it would have been nice for her to check up on us as often as the other groups. Nevertheless, the experience was fun and we were very grateful that we received a discount to have a fun time.
