Fountain Tire

I’m a routine customer at this location, and always received honest and efficient service. A few weeks ago, my car was side swiped while parked and my suspension was damaged - the car couldn’t be driven until fixed. The staff at Fountain Tire was amazing and accommodating, helping to coordinate with my insurance and keeping me in the loop the whole way - explaining the damage, being up front with costs and time frames. They made a stressful situation way easier. I would highly recommend them from anything from tires to mechanical!

Victor and his team are so nice and easy to communicate with. Victor made my visit very welcoming and stress free. I got updates while waiting too! They were able to fix my tire very close to their closing time as well which I highly appreciate. Highly recommend!

Can't be trusted to work on anything except tires. I brought in my car for a tire changeover and an oil change. They recommended changing both drive belts, and I gave them the go-ahead. When I came and picked up my car, the belts squeaked horrendously when starting up. So, I brought my car back to them the next week to tighten up the belts. After they worked on it, the belts squeaked even worse than before! They wanted me to come back in AGAIN to fix it. Frustrated, I just tightened them myself. I should have just changed the belts myself instead of paying them 200 to do it.

Also, they put in too much oil in my car. I had to drain out over half a quart.

I will definitely be using this location again! The service went above and beyond to install my new tires and rims.

Superb service. Showed up 30 minutes to close fully expecting to have to schedule for another time but asked anyway. Everyone was very accommodating and fixed my nail-punctured tire. Went above and beyond what was required and I thank you. Will for sure be a repeat customer.

I gotta say, after moving to BC i have been so blessed to find Victor and the whole team at Fountain Tire. They Have truly come out of there shoes several times to help me, with out taking advantage. The Acumen and Integrity shown by this team is hard to find, It shines when you sit in the waiting room, watching the relationships they have created with their clients over the years.

Pulled in to this place after my car started to shut down on the bridge due to a broken alternator belt. It was Saturday 16: 30 when we rolled in. Victor got the parts and helped fix the car in under an hour flat We even made it home for dinner:) Amazing work!

One star is too generous for the service that I received from this establishment. I am not someone who is very knowledgeable about cars and so I was a perfect target to them. I came needing a simple alignment and they ended up telling me I needed brand new strut mounts on my 2016 toyota yaris. My friends who are more knowledgeable about cars found this suspicious and sure enough it was all lies trying to upsell me something I didn’t need. I took it to toyota and they confirmed that the strut mounts were completely fine.

Superb service from start to finish! The service they provide should be the standard of all other vehicle service companies. Everything was explained thoroughly - the process, the price and time needed to complete the service.

I went in 20 minutes before closing with a leaking tire. They went out of their way to fix it with a smile even though they knew they would have to stay late. A professional job too. I would highly recommend them. Fab customer service

My tire pressure light came on after work, being out in the snow since morning, and I wasn't sure if I had a leak or able to drive home. So I got to Fountain Tire at 5: 30, grateful they were open as many were closed, but didn't know they closed at 6pm.
Unfortunately there were 3 cars being worked on but Victor was very kind and offered to add air to my tires. In the end, there was no leak and tires just needed air.
Very appreciative of Victor, with his friendly and helpful service, highly recommend!

I bought a set of new tires for my VW Tiguan from them just over a year ago and was very impressed by their service. The price was reasonable and they also did an oil change using the Mann filter which I requested.
Recently I got a puncture, which they repaired promply and at no charge (2 year warranty for punctures). They also provide a free tire rotation very 10km.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for your unbelievable courteous
service. A year or so ago I purchased four tires from another Fountain Dealership. This weekend I discovered a nail in one of the tires and thus a flat.
Upon contacting your Dealership about getting a repair done, the Service Advisor informed that the repair would be done at no cost to me and to simply bring in the tire, using the spare, and the tire would be repaired and then put back on the car.
The technician also observed that the TPMS light was on and this was removed as well.

In this day and age we seniors seldom get such service and your staff should be complimented for making my experience a good one.

Had to search high and low for the exact winter tires I wanted. These guys were not only the only shop that could get them for me, they also had the best/friendliest customer service by far. Victor was able to get a set ordered in from Kelowna and had them installed on my vehicle 2 days after I called in. Next time I’ll skip the legwork and come straight here!

I called on Saturday, got booked for the same day. They swapped my tires even though they were very busy.
Excellent customer service from the manager, Sr. Badillo.
I can tell their crew is willing to stay late and get as much work as possible to get it done. I will go back.

On their website Fountain Tires had all weather tires for my car and I could book an appointment within the week. Great! I booked the first appointment time (9 AM) so that I would be in and out fairly quickly.

When I arrived the employee told me that he had left me a message the day before saying the tires I ordered were not available from any of their suppliers. They had waited to call me because they were making sure they called all their different suppliers. He offered to help me figure out a different tire that would fit. The only comparable tires he could find were $150 over the quoted price of the tires I had originally wanted. He told me my car would be ready "later in the day" since they didn't have the tires in the shop but could get them in and installed today.

At 4: 45 PM I called the store because according to their website they close at 5 PM and I hadn't heard from them. They told me they were running late and would make sure my car was done today, even if they had to stay open late, saying it'd be ready around 6-6: 30 PM. They called again at 5: 30 PM saying my car was ready and asking when I would come "because they were staying open late for me". Since my car was in the shop, I had to figure out a way to get to the store as quickly as possible. When I arrived at the store I was greeted with a sarcastic "you made it! " as if they were doing me a favour for staying open late. I wasn't planning on being here at 6 PM either, bud.

Pros: available to get an appointment time much faster than other shops
Cons: not having the tires I ordered, speed of service, communication, and the staffs attitude

I wouldn't come here again if I didn't have to, and I don't recommend you do either.

What a lovely customer service experience. They were amazing and efficient. I had a slow leak and they helped figure it out quickly. So grateful!

5: 30 PM - Noticed the Flat tire and needed urgent assistance.

5: 35 PM - Called the store and was welcomed by “ Victor “ the store manager. Initially he was hesitate as they were closing by 6: 00 PM but he wanted to help - Advised me to come over

5: 50 PM - Reached Fountain Tire, the SW Marine branch and was professionally welcomed by David and Victor.

6: 00 PM - Victor informed me that the puncture can’t be fixed and I have to replace the tire.

6: 10 PM - He installed the spare tire and didn’t charge me anything.

6: 15 PM - Helped in carrying the damaged tire back in the trunk.

Thank you Victor for accommodating me.

Nothing but great things to say about these folks! Great prices, great selection, unfailingly polite, and give great service. Yesterday went in because my ex curbed her tire - the fellow there took a look, said the damage was superficial, advised me of what to look out for in case there was damage to the suspension, and I was on my way in 5 minutes with no charge. Will always come back to this shop!

This shop was exceptionally excellent. Had an unexpected issue come up close to their closing time and they were already one of the few garages still open at this time but after a quick call they assured me they could help. Getting into the shop took longer than expected but the crew was able to stay open and help fix up my problem quickly. Friendly, capable, and professional.

Has been a loyal customer at the SW Marine Drive location for the past 5 years but their customer service has gone downhill since they changed management. The new manager Victor was arrogant and condescending.   After spoken with him on the phone, I have decided to bring my vehicle to other tire shop closed by which charges me the same price to replace my tires.

Realized I had a nail in my tire and it was slowly deflating. Pulled into here even though it was almost closing time. Victor, the store manager with his excellent customer service said he would fix it for me. I was so grateful! Would definitely choose this place next time I need my car serviced.

Fountain Tire had changed my tires for a couple of years and they are always very professional. I had recently decided to start changing them myself, but was confused about an issue with the tire iron not working with my rims. Victor was incredibly helpful and even looked up what I had gotten to advise me accurately. I can not recommend Fountain Tire enough.

I would by far most definetly recommend this specific store! I had an issue with my engine and drop off my car for repair. I was really impressed with the store manger Victor. He called me after hours to ensure I'm provided with a detailed diagnostic report of the issue. He gave me multiple options which would better fit my budget. I felt like he was really wanting to help and work with me. I would highly recommend this store. The professionalism and customer service is outstanding.

Awesome service, and very knowledgable people and people who are not looking to screw anyone over. They truly want whats best for your car. Got a custom exhaust installed here and they paid attention to exactly how I wanted my exhaust to fit on my car. They did adjustments after the installation free of charge just to make sure I was happy with everything. I've been getting my car serviced here for over a year (tires, oil changes, exhaust, motor mounts) and I have had nothing but great experiences. Could not recommend this particular shop more! Will continue coming here to get my car serviced!

I have relied on the services of Fountain Tire, Marine Drive location, a handful of times now & have received great service each time. They're honest with their assessments, as well as suggestions upon inspection.
The most recent visit was for a full brake job (rotors & pads) on my Silverado 1500. The pricing was fair & the job was done exceptionally quick! Thanks, Saaby, for a job well done!

Just picked up my car after a repair following an unexpected issue on the road. Victor B, the new store manager who oversaw my repair, was very informative and I walked away feeling like I knew how my car was doing. Said he had 20 years of experience and it showed.

I've never let a bad review before but here goes.
I booked in for new winter tyres to be put on my spare rims, no worries there.

The crew accidentally fit the new tyres onto my existing rims. I asked for these to be swapped back so that my older tyres were on the stock rims for the sale of the car next year.

This took another hour an a half. After a total of three hours in the cold waiting room I was offered no apology and no discount for the mix up and wasted time (it actually went from 750 to 790 somehow). There is also heaps of excess mounting grease left of the sidewalls of the wheels so I will have to clean this off though this in itself is not a biggie.

All in not so impressed. Though I have had good experiences when dealing with this company in the past so don't believe that this is typical interaction. Customer care in a miscommunication or mishap is critical. And they dropped the ball today hence the two stars.

They helped me out on my last trip to Vancouver. Friendly staff. They know their tires too. Can recommend good tires if you don't have a favorite brand. You can always rely on a fountain tire location throughout BC. Always watch for rebates. Some tire companies have rebates, especially during fall and winter.

I have been going to Fountain Tire for a number of years now not only for tires but mechanical issues, tune ups etc. I have never been disappointed with the service at the Marine Drive location. Mukhtar and his staff go out of their way to provide the utmost in professional service. The entire staff were very knowledgeable and answered any questions I may have had with politeness and courteousy always willing to go that extra mile to help someone out. As they are representing you Fountain Tire I can say to you over and over again that the staff at the Marine Drive location in Vancouver does you justice, you should be proud of these employees for the hard work that they all do in providing a valuable service to the public. I will continue to have my vehicles serviced there as well as recommending this shop to my family and friends.

On one of Vancouver' s hottest days my AC took a hot/cold vacation. I called Fountain, they fit me in for the next day even when they were fully booked. The repair was completed on time. The tech saw me by the truck. He came over to explain in detail what the intermittent problem was. Best of all, how he found and corrected the problem. You do not get service like that at a dealer This is my only service shop now, great staff fair prices.

Very fast service & superb customer service! I booked the wrong appointment but they still ordered my tires and brakes to be serviced for same day pick up. Muktar was even so kind to wait an hour after closing for me to pick up my car.

My first visit to Fountain Tire Marine drive was in July 2020. Purchase and installation of 4 all-weather tires was quick and trouble free. Great pricing and quality work. Muktar Khan was himself available to answer any questions. A very informed and friendly person indeed. The staff was very professional and courteous as well. Will definitely be heading there again.

Very positive experience and excellent service! My car broke down while I was waiting in the drive-thru at the McDonald's across the parking lot. I supposed I was really lucky that Fountain Tire was in the same lot. It was Saturday near closing time, but the guys still spend some time to inspect the issue. The owner is a great guy and took care of my car breakdown swiftly. Parts came in on Monday and I picked up the car on the same day. The bill was also very reasonable after some comparison.

Had a very good experience. I came in with a flat tire. They were accommodating and friendly. (Put on my spare tire and ordered a new tire)

Muktar is the best, he ll jump out his seat and inspect your car parked outside. Gave me a quote in the parking lot, and it was the same amount I paid the next day.

These guys know Land Cruisers! Highly recommend them if you drive an LC or any type of vehicle for great service. Came in on Saturday morning with a sticky brake caliper, they had the new parts on and the truck complete by early that afternoon. Was really impressed considering my vehicle is a foreign import.

I'll definitely be doing more work here knowing how familiar they are with the Land Cruiser.

Had a nail in tire was not repairing and call fountain and they tell me come in and I know I need 4 tire it is AWD tire was 3/32nd and they go an pick tires for me from warehouse and install on my car. The best possible situation I could be in. Got to meet the most amazing people. Great service. Great awareness. Fast and super efficient. Brought my Lexus RX350 for tires and they got it done way before they said it would be done. Especially with how busy they were every parking spot was taken up, shop was full. Parking was the culprit. I had to go around and round to park. But was well worth it. Fountain tire staff is amazing. Would highly recommend.

Best shop to deal with during the winter rush. Most accommodating when I was in dire need. 1st time at this location usually go to another shop which I actually won’t be going back to after learning all the services Fountain tire does. The shop I usually go to supposedly was really busy and couldn’t get me in for 3 days and I couldn’t wait as a emergency came up and I had to leave town. Called fountain and automatically knew I found my spot. From the start Varune was welcoming and I could feel he wanted to help me. I called multiple locations because I was not too familiar with this place. Now that I know of them will not turn back. Even though I had to drop my vehicle for a few hours I was the happiest that I could be with the service. FYI same day I went by to the shop that I usually go to and they looked like they had nothing going on not sure why they couldn’t fit me in. Never asked. Definitely recommend Fountain Tire on Marine Drive in Vancouver. P. S.it’s been a while since I left a shop with a handshake. Top class service. From the techs to the counter staff. Extremely friendly and courteous but unfortunately the quality control process at the checkout point failed: I had asked them to dispose of two tires in my trunk and top up the air in my spare tire. They claimed to have done both but did neither. I only found this out after I got back home.

Absolutely amazing service. Couldn’t ask for anything better. The Manager Muktar is first class always focused and interested in the customers. Came for 4 tires, found out the brakes needed to be done and I knew about it and had a quote from dealer ship. They went above and beyond gave me the best price and also did it same time as I wouldn’t be able to fit it in my schedule another day.definitely recommend to anyone! Always great service and amazing staff. My whole family now comes here for all our tire needs. Muk was super accommodating during the snow season and slotted my mom and sister in last minute to get their snow tires! They both feel 1000x more comfortable in the snow now and we pleased with their visit. Would definitely recommend!:)

You know guys I am amazed that that what my sister experienced 2 weeks ago she had flat tire and she went there and they said tire tread is less needed tire change too.

Stations who were ripping of money from innocent car victims people go there for regular car service and they end up spending $500 for lot of stuff change over in car which they are not even aware Of and cannt even confirm that it’s replaced with new one or they still running their car with same old stuff which mechanics has told to replace. We felt this one of same shop too. I am assuming but if they practice this please be aware. If you are in that area needed something to be done In your car so make sure do only that thing not what they tell to do extra. Good luck

Asked for pricing on brake pads only. First thing im told is always do rotors with breaks. Decided to buy my parts at lordco. Called me back while i was at lordco and i said to young, im getting the pads for front and back breaks how much for labour. I was told 120 o ver the phone and when i show up said that was for front only. Guy at the front desk was barely helpful. I just felt like this place upsells you alot. Check around first before coming here. This whole experience was reccomending this place to my friend who felt letdown

I have been dealing with Fountain Tire on Marine for all the recent repairs I have had done on my 2006 Grand Cherokee. They have provided quotes considerably less expensive than many other shops I have dealt with, and the staff and technicians have been incredibly helpful, professional and time efficient. It is my go to shop for any repairs or work done to my vehicle
