Fountain Tire

Double booked me and canceled my appointment at the last minute. They rebooked me for the next week but when the day came around turns out they had failed to put the booking through and sold the tires I’d originally reserved
Canadian Tire got it done with no fuss.

Had an appointment for this past Saturday for tires and oil on my work truck. Truck was not ready until tuseday. They tried to say the tires weren’t there. No phone call as made to ask me or anyone. Basically because this is a fleet account I was made to wait nearly costing me a days wage. That was the last time you’ll see this truck. Mind your fleet accounts ppl. It’s a sure thing for this business so they figure they don’t have to be timely. Or even give you a courtesy call.

Honest professional and prices are fair. I’ve had mechanical work tires and shocks all done through Fountain Tire Prince George. Every shop visit exceeded my expectations.

Fixed my tire that Kal Tire wouldn't.

While travelling through Prince George on holiday (from Ontario), I showed up early in the afternoon with a damaged valve stem on my spare tire, within 1/2 hr. I walked out not only with my tire repaired but also at no charge. Customer service was great, highly recommend this shop.

They were able to fix our tire when Costco wouldn’t, very quick, efficient and great customer service

Great service! We got a flat on our way to fight a wildland fire and Spencer came in early to patch it up for us. Super fast and friendly, would recommend to anyone in a pinch.

People seem nice.but changed my tires, had some weird clicking noise when I got it back, super obvious, clearly didn't take it for a quick spin to test their work, manager is very rude and has no care or concern for issues here.

I'd avoid this place until they get a manager that cares.

Great bunch of people working on a holiday weekend. Traveling through to Alaska we needed a flat tire fixed and rotation of our spare to the front rim and a new spare. That took less than an hour and we were on our way. Thanks everyone we are on the road again. If in the area again and need service we will definitely stop. Foster was great to work with and a shout out to the manager Kirk too.

I just had an incredible experience with Fountain Tire. I woke up to a flat tire with a nail in it right before leaving for a road trip. Although their schedule was full for the day, Fountain Tire managed to squeeze me in within minutes. While waiting for them to fix my tire, I quickly realized how busy they truly were. On top of the that, all of the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. I am very grateful for them and their ability to fix my tire in a timely manor.

Kris was awesome to deal with. I was in a pinch as I had another tire shop in Alberta balance my tires and it was not done right. Kris got me in quick and balanced my tires in quick time. Best tire shop iv dealt with yet.

The staff are so amazing! I had a leak in one of my tires and needed to drive to Quesnel and the staff repaired my tire before the store even opened! Great shop!

Good location for Commercial Vehicle Tire Service. I stopped by for a retorque service. Even though they were a little busy I was taken care of promptly.

Our equipment trailer blew a tire Just North of Prince George. We visited the Fountain Tire location and and tried to get a replacement, they said they couldn't help us! Turns out Fort George Vulcanizing was able to get that tire in short order! When I asked for the next available roadside service truck I was told it was 2 weeks out? So you have clients sitting on the side of the road waiting 2 weeks for roadside service? Or my business wasn't important enough? Kal Tire was able to get us a service truck the same day! We are not a large corporate trucking firm so apparently we are not important enough to Fountain!
I recommend Kal Tire and Fort George Vulcanizing they helped us out, and made a concerted effort to get us on our way!

We had an awesome experience at this location. We were teavelling to Edmonton from Vanderhoof and had a flat tire. They got us in right away and gave us a free tire they had to get us on our way quicky. They were hospitable and made us feel like part of the family. They believe in good Karma. Highly recommended!
