I had to get my new tires retorqued before heading down the Coquihalla. The guys at Fountain Tire were so helpful and friendly, they did it in a few minutes on a Saturday morning and I was on my way. I would absolutely go there for tire services next time I'm in Merritt. Thanks!

I have been using Fountain Tire Merritt off and on since 1997 and have always found them to be honest, reliable, efficient and reasonably priced. Thank you for such great service spanning decades. My latest visit involved a muffler and because I trust their garage, I chose them over anyone else. It was a rusty old muffler that fell off. From them diagnosing what needed to be done to fixing was less than a week. Most of the wait was for the parts. They drove me home and picked me up. I couldn't ask for better service. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Orange guys across the street said 2 weeks for a loose 16in trailer tire change, Hayden at Fountain Tire got 4 changed out with a smile and without hassle.

Had a rear truck tire blowout towing our trailer just outside of Merritt on the 5 south. Got a hold of Jamie, gave him tire size of which he had, and said he could put them on as soon as we could get to him! Finally got down to the shop, Jamie and Cole fit us in, in what looked like another busy day and had us back on the road in about an hour. Awesome folks to deal with! Thanks again for your help.

I needed one tire to replace on my truck. I asked to ordered one and recieved no calls. Well you lost money for a set of four tires from me. I will never buy anything from Fountain Tire.

I quite urgently needed the tires changed on Saturday afternoon in the busy season. Fountain Tire was the only shop in Merrit that even considered helping me out even though they already were overbooked that day. I came to the shop, considered my options and Jamie was very helpful in looking at my tires and giving some advice. Thank you!

Was on the road to Kelowna and had my tires and rims replaced beforehand. While driving I had some concerns so I stopped in here and the kind fellow had someone come and retorque my lug nuts. I felt very relieved and they didn't charge me! So pleased.thank you Fountain Tire

Travelling home we had our first RV tire blow in 11 years out just outside of Merritt BC with our fifth wheel. BCAA worked with us to get the RV into Fountain tire on a Sunday afternoon even though they were closed. Jamie the owner of Fountain Tire in Merritt was so kind, compassionate and professional. His service superior. No question was to dumb. He had us back safely on our way with 2 new high quality RV tires to get home that night. A great service experience! Highly recommend! Thank you Jamie

Needed a tire fixed to get home during the longweekend. I called the after hour number and BAM one hour later Met the owner at shop and tire was fixed. And the emergency fee was not a problem. Cheap like borscht

Truck overheated on the Coquihalla. Managed to get to fountain tire. The shop fit us in, despite a busy schedule and had us back on the road in a couple of hours. Very easy to deal with, kind and professional. Thank you VERY much!

After being towed off the highway the night before, the team was able to diagnose and rectify the issue and get me on my way before noon. Comfortable eating area with coffee and great movies to pass the time. Felt confident with the work and made it to the coast without issue. Would highly recommend Jamie and his team! Very accommodating for new and regular clients!

Dropped by here last week because of two, yes two blown trailer tires on the Coq. Service was excellent at both the front desk and in the service bay.

They had my tire size in stock and each time I came in that day, I was outta there within 30 minutes. Under the circumstances, best service I've had in a shop in a long while.

We ran into exhaust problems on the way to Kelowna. We rolled into this Fountain Tire ten minutes before closing. The guys stayed after closing to get us back on the road. Thanks again.

When we broke down close to closing time the staff at Fountain Tire accommodated us and even booked a hotel for us. Cole the mechanic was so kind to give us a lift up there too. Despite a booked up schedule they checked our car the next day and were understanding of our situation throughout. Our tow driver said people are kinder in Merritt and he was definitely right! Thank you!

Car trouble while on a road trip can be super scary! But knowing someone trustworthy is there to help when you're in need just gives you a peace of mind that's priceless!

We had a tire blow out on us while heading into the interior, got that fixed when we stayed at Naksup, but on our way home to Vancouver, we started to hear this scraping sound after Kamloops, figured out some metal and plastic parts underneath the car came apart and was scrapping the ground at low dips, next stop was Merritt, but it was already past 4: 30 pm when we got to the town, Canadian tire couldn't help us because they were fully booked, then scramble to search for a place in town to help us, most of the stuff were closing at 5: 00, and found the Fountain Tire closing at 5: 30, head over there, was about 5: 10 when we got there, and we really didn't want to have an unplanned overnight and didn't feel safe to drive on like so, but knowing it's closing soon, prepared for that possible eventuality, BUT LUCKILY! They were willing to help us! We were so grateful that the owner James took the time to help us and told us that the plastic broke and the bolts probably fell out somewhere due to vibration. He replaced those for us, plus adding a big washer to make sure things will stay in place for our drive home!

Couldn't thank them enough for their help so near closing time! And the cherry on top was that hey didn't even charge us anything. Free stuff is nice, but that caring customer service is priceless and unbeatable!

My partner and I encountered trouble with our car while travelling back to Vancouver from inland BC (the undercarriage came loose, and was scraping on the highway!). We urgently needed it fixed so we could finish the drive (we still had more than 3 hours left). The team at Fountain Tire helped us out, snuck us in at the end of their day before closing and helped with the repair. Since it was a quick fix, they didn't even charge us (it only took 2 minutes)!

Blew a tire on our trailer coming into Merrit and brought it into Fountain Tire. They replaced both tires and had us on our way in about 3 hours. I heard air leaking from the newly replaced tire before we left but was reassured by the tech that this was normal for the type of tire I had bought. I don't know anything about tires so I didn't press the issue. On the way up the hill out of Merrit my new tire (that was leaking air) blew apart and had me stranded on the side of the highway for another few hours. Thank you to Sheila for dispatching their after hours foreman as promptly as they could with a new tire. Luckily there was no rim damage and the after hours foreman was awesome and much more experienced than the tech we originally dealt with, he installed another tire and reinstalled the other one just in case. I can't help but feel that the tech rushed finishing the job since we showed up around 2: 30 and left just as everyone was going home for the day. Blown tires happen but you don't expect it 20 minutes after purchasing a new tire. Unfortunately this was right before a big move across country and has had us on edge the entire time.

Managed to punch a fist sized hole in the rim when hitting a pot hole on the highway. They didn't have what they needed to repair it, but they found somewhere that did. Drove me there to pick it up and then had me back on the road in short order.

Went to Fountain Tire on Saturday morning. Had a low tire. They fixed it right then with no charge. It took 45 minutes. Good service and fast.

Had a leak in my R. V. Tire went over to Fountain Tire fixed it rite away no saying can’t do it like a few others tire shops in town. They have now earned my trust in dealing with them. A top 5+ star service.

Had a slow leak in my passenger rear tire on our way back to Vancouver. Immediately considered Fountain Tire & very glad we stopped in. Helpful & friendly service. All completed in 45 minutes and we then had an uneventful rest of the drive home. Good honest service. Highly recommended for any tire needs. Thanks for the relief!

Had trouble with a tire on my RV had to stop and change the tire. The gentleman that served us was extremely friendly and very quick.

The second flat tire of our trip was repaired quickly here. I guess new tires are in our future, but the salesman suggested we wait until the fall when the tires we had our eye on would be on sale. Now that's service!

The service we received from James and staff, was above anything I have seen in a long time. Normally I go into a repair shop with my guard up, watching for the BS that will drive up the price, James really surprised me with doing just the opposite. This will be the only place I will take any of my vehicles to get work done on in the future.

We were travelling from the okanagan to Prince George and had a flat on the way. After putting on the temporary tire, we limped it in and they fixed the flat immediately and we were on our way in no time.

Great customer service. We arrived there at closing time with our car being towed, and they still took a look at it on the spot. They were organized and efficient as well, going through the paperwork in minutes. Afterward, we were also offered a ride to our motel by an individual who worked there. I very much appreciate this level of service, even if it is a special case.

Coming into Merritt I had a vibration in my front end. Jamie had my truck looked at almost right away and we discovered more than just unbalanced tires. Thankfully parts were available in town, turned out to be the cv shaft was broken. They tried to get the repair done before they closed so that I could be on my way. Unfortunately the broken part was proving to be too stubborn to replace easily.
They drove me to the Best Western overnight and picked me up the next morning. These guys are helpful, flexible, professional and courteous all at once. Donuts didn’t seem enough of a thank you to the boys.stop in if you need servicing. They are the best!

Stopped in for a tire torque; they had me in and out within 5 minutes.

Lost a tire on the coquihalla near Merritt. It was a Sunday and Everything was closed so I just got the truck dropped at this shop and left them a msg. They got right on it In the morning and had me on my way within an hr or so. Polite professional service and a good price.

Today could have been a bad day. I was coming down the hill into Merrit about 10 mins out or so pulling my holiday trailer. I have a wheel bearing start to smoke up on me. I was able to stop in a some what safe spot. I check on the situation. I first call the competition and they were unable to help me out in anyway. They did recommend this place and say that the owner was pretty good and should be able to help me out. I called them and they said to bring it in. When I finally limped it the rest of the way the tire was about to fall off. These guys sure helped me out in a big way. Had multiple guys working on it. Was in and out of there in a couple of hours. Considering the shape it was in when I got there I was impressed. I was able to continue on with my trip thanks to them.

I received A-1 service at Fountain Tire this morning. I explained my emergency of having to get my daughter to SeaTac Airport and I wanted to have my rear tires replaced. The service manager said he would have his guy look at the tire. The tire was checked and it was noted that the tire was a cosmetic defect, but if I wished to replace them at some point it wasn't necessary to do so this morning. Fountain Tire treated me so well, they will now receive my business. I will be buying a whole set of new tires there! Don't go to Kal-Tire, I was there first and received very impersonal service.
