After a bad experience with many things wrong, all was righted (refunded) and with an appointment the next day to fix the missed spot. Heather was amazing and I was given a lotion to soothe the skin that had been taken off by the previous person I won't name. Really glad they take clients feedback seriously.

Went in for another brow wax and tint, at Foxy Box today. Saw Eilidh and my goodness I was in stitches the entire time. She was absolutely amazing and super accommodating to my arm being in a sling due to dislocating my shoulder a week and half ago. 10/10 go see Eilidh if you wanna laugh your way through an waxing appointment

I went for my second ever Brazilian wax and was beyond nervous. My waxer’s name was Eilidh (Ay-Lee) and the second she walked into the room she had such a positive and fun vibe to her. She made me feel really comfortable the whole service and it wasn’t awkward at all, which is what I was nervous of. I would 100% recommend my girl Eilidh!

5 star service! I feel comfortable and heard. Being older, I was nervous about my tender bits, but girls are respectful and kind. They also offer some regular discounts.

FoxyBox is the only place in town to get a wax. Best techs who are so friendly and knowledgeable. The whole experience as soon as you walk in the door is friendly and professional. Thanks Heather and Eilidh for my amazing wax.

I've seen Hailey a few times for waxing service. She is amazing, and knows her stuff! I felt super comfortable throughout the entire experience. For walking in with all the "first time wax" nerves, all the way through to the checkout at the end. Vibe was great, the place was spotless, and staff were so kind. Would recommend!

I reviewed Foxy Box over 2 years ago when I was a newbie and it was a 5 star review then. Nearly 3 years later, and I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I've only ever had one real issue with an inexperienced tech, and Tara went above and beyond to make the situation right and I didn't even ask her to, I had just wanted to inform her of what happened.
While the original tech I would book with has since moved onto other things, my new regular tech Hailey is above and beyond! She has the best personality, and we're always laughing which makes the appointment breeze by, and helps distract from the minimal pain!

Amazing service friendly staff. Welcoming as soon as you enter. Crystal is amazing and very meticulous in her work. She makes sure you leave happy.

I have been going to foxy box for a few years for Brazilians and was pretty happy. One day they told me of a promo for laser and said it was $79 so I said sign me up! I had 1 session and they sold me on a package deal where I was told I would have 8 sessions and 1 free touch up every year. I don't have super dark thick hair as I had been getting waxed for years regularly. I spent over $1200 and unfortunately there it ALOT of hair still left. I never felt the intensity of the machine to be very high and I beleive it wasn't which is why I am left with so much hair. Once I brought it to their attention to try to figure something out I was told my package did NOT include the touch ups and that I was in for over $200 a session per area (which they is 4 areas not done). I was extremely disappointed I reached out 2 more times to management and did not even get a response! Unfortunately now I will have to go elsewhere and pay more money to fix this. Extremely disappointed and big waste of money. I feel a business should work with their clients to resolve these issues when promising results.

I’ve gone to the same wax lady in my home town ever since I started getting waxes In general which has been at least 7 years now. When I moved to Nan and wanted to continue getting waxed I was a little nervous to be showing my ‘bits’ to someone new lol. I went here solely based on their logo which I found funny but honestly it was such a great experience! The building is beautiful and so clean and comfortable on the inside! It has amazing vibes. Also, the lady that waxed me, Mia I believe her name was, was super super sweet! She was very good at her job, super professional, but also made me feel so comfortable! Also, the lady at the front desk was super sweet and helpful! I highly highly recommend going here for waxing! As a student, it also is not too expensive! I would continue coming here if I wasn’t moving again! 11/10!

Kennedy was amazing. She answered all of my questions about waxing and my inquiries regarding laser hair removal. She also recommended products that would work well with my skin concerns following my waxing and I was very appreciative of that. She kept me at ease and our conversation was comfortable and almost completely distracted me from the slight discomfort due to the waxing. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I got waxed here, and it wasn't too good in more than one way. Leanne missed a spot on my back and I had to ring the bell 3 times without an answer to get the piece waxed since that's the policy if they miss a spot. I had to call out the door to another lady to get Leanne, and then she came back to do it. I got waxed by Catherine next since she was the one who does the boyzillian. It was ok, but I had an accident and they discriminated against me for it even though I am special needs. The owner Tara didn't respond to my message, and she is really a big meany to special needs people. This place is supposed to be inclusive, but they are ablelist.

I always enjoy my experience at Foxy Box. Everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable! Clean environment as well!

I’ve been seeing Kennedy at Foxy Box Nanaimo for almost 2 years, she is hilarious, kind, and most importantly efficient. She does my wax in sometimes 15 minutes or less. I always feel welcomed by the other staff and although the visit is quick it is always a pleasure!

Same day appointments are almost always available, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and unfussy. I've never left unhappy.

Iv had bad experiences at other places with having my eye brows done but she made me feel so comfortable i gained trust in her to do my brows and DAMN she is good! And with covid they do a really good job at making you feel safe! 100% recommend!

I love coming here! I see Kennedy every time and she's just great. Very sociable and she does a thorough job. I was worried it would be super painful but it wasn't! She's fantastic. They also have a lot of great products for sale as well as earrings/necklaces etc. I've found all staff are very friendly and they've done a wonderful job through this pandemic and keeping things clean.

Rave to Kennedy @ Foxy Box (Nanaimo, British Columbia) for a great visit and waxing services. Very thorough, professional, welcoming, friendly, outgoing and sociable. Being used to male intimate waxing in other parts of the world where it's common, it was nice to come here where nobody flinched at all and made me feel welcome and put me at ease (North America being a bit prudish around these things). Beautiful and funky decor (+ TVs in the service rooms). Love the place and the staff. Looking to return regularly!

I went in feeling super unkept and a little insecure about my body, from the moment I stepped in the staff was glorious, fun, informative and just super positive. I left there feeling recharged and with information and product to take care of my scaring, I became a premium member because I would never think of going somewhere else. They way they care for their clients skin and well being is above all. From they way the greet clients, to the intake to the way they handle your services - very comfortable place to get even the most invasive services done ;) get your boxes in there ladies, you'll be pleased you did!
