Fraser Orr's Butcher & Deli

I was there for the first time yesterday, and they definitely have themselves a new regular customer. Probably the best scotch egg I’ve ever had. I’m looking forward to eating the haggis on the upcoming Robbie Burns day. Their cuts of meat are perfect and the prices are pretty darn good.
The staff is very friendly, professional, and courteous.

Finally made it as we live in Cowichan Bay and I went to the airport this morning and timing was good for the store being open.
I bought some cornish pasties and pork pies amongst other things.
Just tried the cornish pasty and Now I wish I had doubled all my
of my order!
Looks like I need to make the trip often now because if the pork pies taste as good as they look I'm going to move closer to the store!

Great place, friendly and helpful, quality meats and other goodies. Their tourtière is top notch.

I couldn’t imagine buying my meat anywhere else. The feeling you get when you walk in the door is unreal, the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, they really make you feel like family. Fraser will always try his best to accommodate your needs/wants and make sure you leave the shop with a smile.
They have the best ever changing lunches and such a large variety of take and bake meals, soups and freshly baked pastries, I don’t mind making the drive from Oak Bay to get some of their delicious food!

This is one of my favourite places in town! The staff are wonderful & so helpful, and the owners are amazing. I've never met a more hardworking crew. They have a large variety of the best lunches, cuts of meat, UK goodies, ready made dinners, soups and so much more. Love this place! 10/10!

Amazing little butcher on the Peninsula. Although having lived in the area for quite some time, made my first stop here this weekend. I was looking for ground veal knowing I may have a hard time finding it - I was so lucky to have found it immediately when I walked in the store! I was also wanting a small amount of ground pork, but saw that it wasn't in the case. When I asked, the butcher immediately ground up less than a pound of pork for me on the spot. My Orr's butcher ground chuck/veal/pork bolognese ragu was to die for! Very impressed and will return!

Fraser Orr's is my weekly stop for all you would ever want from your local butcher. I am so glad I found this little gem. They are so friendly and the products are amazing.

I have to tell ya! These folks sure do have a positive thing going! To Fraser and his lovely wife! I tip my hat to both of you!

Best Butcher we've found on Vanc Island. Cozy little shop, stuffed with an outstanding selection of meats (and some interesting ready to go items, ie genuine Scotch Meat pies). Top quality. Friendly as well! Excellent Covid precautions to boot.

Excellent pies and meat products and the only place on the island where they do a fresh pork pie which is very close to a Melton Mowbray pie.

Nice staff and a wide variety of different meat options from black pudding, to beef tongue. I got some very nice brisket cold cuts, and a cool experience to try the beef tongue

I eat sausage rolls all of the time and I just bought a chorizo sausage roll and I swear it was the best sausage roll I have ever had!

Brilliant store, especially if you are from the UK. A ton of top quality, traditional foods. Went in for a sausage roll, came out with a sack full of treats. Clean, organized, great service too

I really would love to have been able to rate this business higher as the service is indeed very good and the people friendly. However the only thing I bought twice there were sausages and I was greatly disappointed. They were tasteless and as if they had more fillers than meat so to speak. I don’t know if they have more fat than others but it tasted like mushy bread. Perhaps it’s just a matter of taste, but I went there specifically for the sausages after reading the good reviews. The first time I thought perhaps it was the specific type I bought, so I went again and got two different kinds yet it was the same thing. I will go again however and try their meats this time, as there seems to be good reviews about them.
