Fraserway RV - Delta

PROS: Had a great, month long trip in September!

CONS: Upon picking up the RV and also during my rental I noticed the following problems: the vehicle was handed over with the interior not properly cleaned with dust and women hair allover the place. Furthermore the mosquito net door at the entrance door initially didn't close properly because according to one of Fraserway's mechanics who finally fixed it, it has not been correctly installed.
During my trip I noticed, broken glass ware.
Too small electric heater.
Several of the light switches at the ceiling lights didn't work so I had to remove the covers to be able to switch them on and off.
The screws of the stove cover were loose and there was no tool to fix it.
The window cover at the entrance door couldn't be installed without using a ladder (which has not been supplied).
Malfunctoning of the front tire pressure sensor and communication with Fraserway's on-road support as well as a required oil change after only 500 km caused unnecessary headaches and delays.

In summery, I felt that the C-Medium motorhome as well as the Ford vehicle were badly maintained and of poor quality.

We rented a C-XLarge in October 2023. As renting in autumn, we expected not to get a brand new vehicle and recieving an unit which already did one complete summer season. In fact we got an almost 2 year old 28ft Four Winds model which had already 43000km and the typical flaws that occur in this type of rental RV after a time: a window which fell apart when you try to open it, not working power and also not working USB sockets in kitchen and seating area (we had to use the toaster in the bathroom), cleaning could have been better as we had found some old earplugs left by the previous renters in a not too hidden drink bottle storage at the couch, mosquito screens in roof hatches had gaps. I would have expected this unit in the Four Season (budget) fleet. The vehicle itself was apealing, the mileage surprised and was very good for the given size (23l/100km), the shuttle process was quick and very ontime. The pickup and drop off process was also very good, the staff were friendly and professional. The sewer hose was a bit short for most full hookup sites, one camping chair was broken but the other equipment was in good condition. Beddings were comfortable, warm and clean. Generator hours were included in our package (which is a big pro compared to e.g. High generator fees at CanaDream). As experienced renters and amazed by the good reputation Fraserway (as a premium rental company) has in german speaking countries we had very high expectations on Fraserway. To be fair, i have to state that we got a very good early bird deal for this rental in shoulder season. So look for those offers when booking. An rather old unit is okay when it is in good condition, if we hadn't the problems regarding the window and power sockets and if the earplugs would have been removed this could be a 5-stars review. Would i take Fraserway again? Of course! If the price is competive. Would i pay more just to get an Fraserway RV (specially in high season) compared to other rental companies? Likely not.

Very good rental, I would recommend it at any time and use it again myself. There are little things that make the difference (axe, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, salt and pepper, terry towels, kitchen towels).

I bought a 22' C-class motorhome in June. Brandon from sales and Shannon from finance were absolutely amazing and made the whole process fast and easy. Steve, the walk through specialist, ensured we knew how to use the appliances and various other things before we drove off the lot. Amazing team!
There was some trouble with my RV after I bought it (solar didn't work, sink had a leak), and I was having a large amount of trouble getting it in to be serviced. Brandon once again went way above and beyond and helped me arrange a drop off time and ensured we were taken care of during the whole process.
I have the RV back again now. We finally got to take it out on our first outing and had a great time! Thank you, Brandon, Shannon, and Steve!

At the end of August 2023 we took over a C 23 Medium from Fraserway in Vancouver for 3 weeks. The hotel pickup was perfect and on time. The staff was very polite and friendly, there was coffee, water and even a hot dog from the grill. Check-in was quick and pick-up was also very well organized. The staff also speaks German. The vehicle was 2 years old and had approximately 48,000 km on the clock. There was some wear and tear in the interior, but everything was within limits. The vehicle was fully equipped. We only bought one grill at the hardware store for a small mark. It was definitely worth it. Fraserway's true customer focus was demonstrated after glass broke in the side wall. Fraserway's on-road service was excellently organized. We were able to buy tarpaulin and tape for the night and the next evening we had a new vehicle with a full tank at our campsite. The driver drove the 450 km to Okanagan Falls and the defective vehicle was brought to Vancouver in exchange. That's what we call perfect service. The exchange vehicle was built in 2023 with 15,000km and was in new condition. The only downside is the fuel consumption. The C-Class is not a diesel, but a gasoline engine. For our tour from Vancouver via the Rockies, Jasper, Dutch Lake, Lilooet, Whistler we used an average of 20.7 liters. Gasoline prices fluctuate between $2.05 per liter in BC/Alberta and $1.55 per liter in Jasper, for example.
We were reimbursed for the cost we incurred for the leash and tape on the return day. Returning it was no problem at all and all in all we can recommend Fraserway 100 percent. Next year we are already planning Vancouver Island and again with a motorhome from Fraserway.

I wish I had discovered RVing years ago! Last year I rented through RVeasy, but this year discovered the ease of Fraser, and now I'm hooked. Their one-way deals are incredible. I think my summers are now booked up for the rest of my life. Lisa, one of the employees here, was super helpful in setting us up and familiarizing us with the RV.

Unfortunately it didn’t go to well for us today. Pick up went well - thx. Also great to get some Hot Dogs once arrived. Thx! Unfortunately I am not happy with the core service. Checking our camper we found out issue with refrigerator - not properly working - and the awning didn’t work at all. After that personally checked camping chairs: 2/4 broken. I expect another service level if I book a camper for 10k for 4 weeks. Waiting for three hours now. Unhappy customer here…

A great experience. The handover and return went very quickly and everything was explained well. The handover was even in German. The staff are very friendly and helpful and, despite the high season, everything is explained and answered in peace. The vehicles are also well maintained, clean and well equipped. There is a shuttle service to the airport and downtown. We were very satisfied and would book again with Fraserway

Excellent service. Pick Up and Return in German. The handover and instruction took place with enough time that we could ask all our questions in peace. All of the employees are so friendly that you really feel like you are in good hands. There is also a shuttle bus to downtown and Vancouver Airport YVR. There are free drinks (coffee and water) and on Thursday there are also hotdog's. In a small shop you can buy holiday souvenirs and useful things for the camping holiday. We are really very satisfied and will be happy to book with Fraserway again.

And another tip for the takeover: in a small wooden house there are useful things to be found that holidaymakers no longer need when handing them over.

Again and again a motorhome from Fraserway. 2015,2016,2017,2018,2022 and already booked for 2024.
Only in 2022 were there problems with the heating of the cabin on the pickup on the first night, which initially could not really be fixed even after repairs were carried out on site by the breakdown service. After another repair on Saturday afternoon in Vancouver, we could finally start. Later, on the way, the refrigerator partially failed and the freezer compartment completely failed. Despite the hassle involved, Steve Friedrich made sure I was compensated at the end of the trip. I was very satisfied with the arrangement with Steve, exemplary and uncomplicated solution and therefore Fraserway again and again. Thanks to Steve All other years there has never been any problem with Fraserway or its vehicles. I'm already looking forward to 2024. See YOU

Dear people, super camper, easy transfer and return. Everyone in the team is super nice gave our camper back clean. They were very happy about that. I think all renters should take care to return the camper clean/decent.

Great experience from the time we walked in to look around, too the days later when we came to pick up our unit.

Took so long to get a damage estimate, they say thirty minutes but instead, it becomes two hours even three. And just for an awning? !? !

Great RV rental. Quick pick up and return. Convenient shuttle service. Rented it for 9 days to visit Jasper and Banff with 4 adults. Did the job very well. Only some minor inconveniences (like noisy on bumpy roads or at high speed), nevertheless 5 star rating!

Unfortunately, the start wasn't that great. The bus that was supposed to take us to Fraserway was late and had a new driver who didn't know the routes to the various hotels. So the journey was a little longer. Some "customers" had to wait 2 hours at the hotel for the bus. But that was probably an exception and we all felt sorry for the driver because it wasn't his fault and he kept apologizing. At Fraserway we then waited another good 2 hours until the handover. After that everything worked perfectly. The camper was in very good condition and almost new. Everything was prepared and very clean.
The delivery in Calgary then worked incredibly quickly and professionally. After only 20 minutes (!) we were taken to Calgary by a very friendly and helpful chauffeur.
After the small initial difficulties, we had a great experience and would book with Fraserway again.

We have now done 2 big trips with Fraserway RV and we want to give a huge positive recommendation! FIrst of all, the actual truck and RV were in meticulous condition! It is so nice to have the feeling of a super clean RV. We rented the bunk-slide truck camper both times and left the beds set up. Being tent campers in the summer, the luxury of pulling into a site at 9 pm or even later (having had dinner on the road), brushing our teeth and heading to bed was just amazing. We highly recommend both the camper and Fraserway for families traveling with school-aged kids. Being able to leave your belongings in one place and not have to schlep stuff in and out of a vehicle and motel/hotel rooms made the trip actually enjoyable. We travelled all through the interior of BC and some of the Rockies on one trip and all the way to San Diego on the other. When we had any issues (which were small), we were able to get support on the road by calling into Fraserway RV.
I'd also like to single out Jenny Tischer who was just amazing in getting us set up for our trip, doing all the paperwork, explaining and teaching how the RV systems work, and helping us find a solution to the table / bed area which worked beautifully for our family. There is No way we'd ever check out another RV company after such a great experience. And I should mention we also got a 10% discount for a March holiday by booking in January. Fraserway's prices are more than competitive to start with, and I feel like they have newer and nicer RVs than the other companies.
I know this review is so glowing that it might look like I have a family member or friend at Fraserway but I promise I do not!

THE OTHER TIME THE STAFF Were brutal but this time the RetURN was amazing.way better than the stoners they had during covid.returining customer, should send returning customers promo codes as I have done 2 relocations for them and no follow up. I hate to see this, where a returning customer doesn't get a thank you or a incentive to come back.
