Great store, friendly staff and decent product selection. They know their stuff and have good pricing, often discounts on various things and additional discounts on rod + reel combos.

Blake at Fred's Custom Tackle was incredibly helpful and patient teaching my son and I about salmon rods. Not only did he have great knowledge, but took the time to set it all up and teach us how to tie the correct knots. I would drive from anywhere in the lower mainland to support this company.

I have been happy with the service I get whenever I go here. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Unlike he big box outdoor options the staff here actually fish and can help answer questions on gear, and tips for fishing in the area. They may not always be the cheapest price, but they always have the best service (especially after the sale and that’s when it counts).
If you’re looking to get a bit more serious into fishing definitely a spot to check out.

Fred’s custom is a must go for all fisherman. No disrespect but I would never go to bass pro again. I ran into Blake ray and Pierre there what a great group of guys.

I've been fishing at Chilliwack lake for twenty years. Never caught a fish. Sure I suck. But I bought some new tackle at Fred's here last week. Releases 4 fish back into that lake this weekend!

The attendance at this Fisherman's store rivaled Cabela's. They were cordial helpful and informed. I enjoyed looking through the many lures and leads and guides. They're very well equipped here and are more than adequate to assist you in your quest to catch that next big one. Of note and something dear to my heart, is the handcrafted woodcrafts to the left of the door as you come in paintings pictures wood art cutting boards. The people that shop with this door are truly passionate and it shows. The fact that the store puts it on display really shows their support for their customers and that should be cherished and elevated.

These guys went above and beyond for my first fly setup. Some of the best online customer service ive had.

Bought a gift card here. Big store with lots of fishing related gear. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful/ attentive. If you are a fisherman or want to be this is a great place to check out.

Great store the people who work there know there stuff are pretty nice and welcoming only family own business in town sells fishing products haven't had any bad experiences I will keep shopping there and would suggest anyone to shop there support local family businesses.

These guys are the best. On more than one occasion I have called these guys looking for specific gear and they seem to always have good suggestions. More recently they found a pair of Saltwater wading boots for me that was an older model. They gave me a great discount and shipped it out that day. Quick, easy, dependable. Awesome service overall.

Was in your Abbotsford store on Sunday Nov. 27th. My husband was looking for a new pair of waders & wading boots. We were helped by your staff member w/the bleach blonde locks. All I have to say is WOW, give that kid a raise! He provided us with the best customer service we've had in awhile. He was engaging, knowledgeable & very personable. He wasn't pushy for a sale & was super patient as my husband tried on multiple pairs of waders. He represented your business beautifully. He definitely deserves the recognition

Called Fred's for a fishing guide. Mac was awesome and knew his stuff. We had other fishing tours parking up beside us because we were pulling out so many sturgeon! Definitely worth the money!

I originally went to a nearby store looming for a baitcasting set for my budget, the next day when I back to get it a different guy tried to up sell for almost double my budget. I walked and went to Fred's, from now I just go to Fred's.

No prices on any item in the store and for good reason. If they had the prices on things no one would even consider buying anything cause it’s so expensive. Bought some salmon spoons and they were 23$ each? !? !
