Decided to stop and check this place out in the am ever since Qburger had mentioned they supplied them with halibut. We bought six halibut burgers on Tammy’s recommendation. Left them with her to keep cool until we returned from our island touring several hours later. She greeted my husband with enthusiasm and provided cooking instructions promptly when I texted her from home later. Although she suggested baking them, we tried them both baked and pan fried and preferred them cut in half sideways and pan fried for best results. Delicious in a burger or as the base for eggs Benedict. Will be back for sure.

Bought three kinds of frozen Cod, and made the best tasting meal. Have been coming here for decades to get great tasting seafood.

Mostly frozen stuff at this tiny market. The staff is lacking and seemed bothered when asking them questions. For a town surrounded by the ocean, I would have thought there would a lot more fresh seafood.

Good food, good service - $68 plus tip = $75 for breakfast for 3? No thanks

We stopped by and bought a couple of live crabs and some flavored smoked salmon, candied and peppercorn. Everything was fresh and delicious

Fresh seafood. Wasn't a lot of options when we went there but seems like a lot of locals go there as they greet familiar faces.

Neat little shop, we went a little later in the day and a few items were sold out. We ended up getting one Salmon burger, one Halibut burger, candied smoked salmon and some tins of smoked tuna and salmon. The salmon burger was tasty. When visiting this place, watch for the signs as they will point you to the right place. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Bought some supposedly fresh salmon from here. Two whole sockeye salmons.
Got home and the meat on the inside was all shredded and destroyed. Went back and swapped it out. Got back home and Cooked one off for a family bbq. The meat was putrid and stunk of decomposition.
Dinner was ruined.

We phoned up about getting a refund and they were extremely rude and unprofessional.

Be warned about this place about anything fresh. Frozen has been ok but I will not shop here ever again.

Omg so fresh! Tons of choices. Super tips on preparimg from happy staff. Ate half the shrimp on the way home. Mmmm.

Awesome price for fresh seafood like halibut and sockeye salmon. Will definitely go back if I am in the neighborhood.

Went to French Creek to get some live spot prawns, and the didn't disappoint! We needed to ask for them as they weren't on display, but we got what we wanted and was also offered ice. They have a bunch of other seafood available including local oysters, mussels, clams, crab, and fish. Things they don't have fresh, they may have in their freezers. Don't be shy to ask.

French Creek Seafood is our "go to" place for fresh or fresh frozen local seafood. It's at the marina so the view is great, too!
They also carry a variety of products that you can use with your meal, like rubs, sauces and even lemons!

Excellent FRESH seafood! It's a little hard to find but there's parking right outside and the fish is straight out of the ocean. You'll also find rubs and seasonings to enhance the taste of whatever you buy. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it!

Large selection of seafood in the store with friendly staff. They advertise sales in the local newspaper with some great deals. Marine fuel is available and fresh water fill up. Friendly staff and owners.

We always love coming here and last time we picked up some ling cod (tinted blue!) and it was GREAT! I'd recommend them to anyone looking for fresh or frozen seafood.
