We came here for a birthday dinner on a Sunday evening, which happened to coincide with Dine Out. Most of us ordered the Dine Out offerings- the coq au vin, the steak, and the fish. The people who had the chicken and steak liked it, but the fish entree was rather underwhelming. Presentation of the courses was okay. The appetizers and desserts were good. The server was friendly but rather forgetful (beverages that were brought out only after reminder, food items that never came at all despite reminder, and a number of errors on the final bills resulting in multiple revisions due to incorrect quantities of items or prices). It seemed like a slower night (not a full house) but it took quite a while for our food to come out. We ended up spending 3 hours at the restaurant, which is certainly longer than we had expected to be there, and a lot of it was time spent waiting. Overall it was an okay experience, but the price point compared to the experience didn't quite add up for most of our party.

Coming in for Saturday brunch, my only regret was not ordering their mussels and side of fries as I saw them being served to the table next to us. Although their brunch is delicious, and also very well presented, I think that French Table is enjoyed best for their lunch and dinner items. Comfortable for groups for up to 6 people. Very cozy atmosphere and good quality service. Wheelchair accessible, no stairs leading into the restaurant or bathrooms. Brunch wasn't busy but I'm sure that their evenings can be, so call in advance to book a table.

Some friends and I came here for my birthday dinner last night, and everything was exceptional. Our server was so lovely; everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The owner was there interacting with the tables and very involved with the on-floor restaurant operations; he is also very personable and fascinating. The food was delicious. We ordered the fondue and raclette, which were so flavourful and rich in the best ways. I have been searching Vancouver for an authentic french restaurant that makes fondue and raclette the traditional french way, and thanks to this place; I've finally found it. We finished our meal with four desserts which were beyond perfect. We had the opera cake (one of the specials that night), two creme brûlées with espresso cream, and the pear almond tart.

Thank you for such a fantastic and memorable experience.

A great place for a fine dinner. We ordered beef Wellington and seared tuna salad. I also ordered their family wine (i.e. Chateau de Chamille) which is very good.

I visited the French Table with my sister for her birthday and made a reservation for 6: 30 pm which was quickly confirmed. Upon arrival we were told that we had until 8 pm because I guess they booked in another reservation. The food, atmosphere, wine, service were all exceptional. However, being ushered out and told TWICE that we had to leave was so rude. I won't go again even though I loved the dish I ordered.

Delicious! Quaint restaurant with friendly staff. We came for the raclette and it was worth the trip from downtown Vancouver.

Most of what we ordered went straight to the garbage after the first bite. One of the meals also looked completely different from what it was advertised on DoorDash.

Thank you so much Herve and Tim. This was my first visit to the French Table and it won't be my last. It was difficult to choose my dinner with all of the incredible options. I went with the coq au vin and it was amazing. Easy 5 stars!

De passage à Vancouver depuis Seattle, nous avons adoré ce restau Français. Le serveur et le patron Hervé ont été aux petits soins pour nous. On recommande vivement!)

Not everything is of the same standard - the raclette was pommes de terre au gratin, to be frank - but I had the best mushroom appetizer of my life! Lovely, unpretentious interior and a very attentive water who was, incidentally, a dead ringer for film director John Waters. Quite the classic French wine list too, a real treasure in this city.
