Fresh Co Lougheed Hwy & Haig St

Sure would be nice to have a bench out front for us disabled and seniors while we wait for our taxi or bus. All other stores have them. Sure would beat sitting on dirt bags in spring or nothing at all.

This is a decent grocery store. Freshco has almost everything you need, plus some other items you might not find at other store. My only problem with it is that it does not have a deli or bakery counter. Other than that, Freshco is a good alternative grocery store to shop at.

Great place for shopping. I do find at times find some smoking deals here. Staff is very willing to help.

Security guard was following me around the whole time and when I was done shopping he stopped following me and stood in front of the self checkout really annoying

I had never been to a Freshco until moving to maple ridge but i now show here quite often. They frequently have good deals and the staff are friendly especially one in particular who my daughter looks forward to seeing every time we go.

Very good selection of products and lots of stocked shelves. Employees know where stuff is and can answer questions about products and when they will or will not be back in stock.
No customer service desk, but cashier staff are able to handle any needs you have.

Clean, some products are full price even though they expire in less than 24 hours. Would be 5 stars if they were actively discounting their dairy so they don't go to waste.

A good store. There are all products. Always fresh. There is a toilet room, clean. Friendly staff, always help.

Went to Freshco today April 8,2023 @3: 30. Mission BC on Lougheed hwy.
They had a lady security guard on her phone. Her phone was on speaker and loud. She was in the main isle by the mayonnaise ducking down so not to be seen.
I've seen her 3 times before on different days.
NOT DOING ANYTHING BUT YAPPING ON HER PHONE OR WATCHING A MOVIE ON HER PHONE.
On a different day when I came into the store she was on her phone. I said excuse me she ignored me. I waited beside her for 5 minutes till she was off her phone and told her a man at the entrance is harrassing people. She shrugged and walked away.
Freshco needs to Fire her. She is absolutely useless. What a waste of money to actually pay this person!

I love Freshco. They have a good selection of grocery items, friendly staff and great prices. This store is in a strip mall with a lot of other stores, so I'm able to take care of a lot of errands in one place. Its easy to pick up a lot of groceries or just pop in for a few things. I highly recommend Freshco.

Prices were fair, selection was good, staff are friendly. It's not a fully stocked grocer, but they have all the staples and a dew goodies as well.

Pharmacy Department personnel are courteous, professional, go above and beyond to provide customer service.

It's great your goal is to keep prices low but what's the point if theres no staff to process your payment?

I have not grocery shopped here, but I do come often because they always have a great selection of house plants for very low prices!

Good experience of shopping groceries and meat products. Way better than walmart and super stores.

Prices are hit and miss. Some are cheaper and others are way more. Not a huge selection of anything especially meat. The store is smaller than most grocery stores which is nice for elderly, others with pain issues or who have a hard time getting around. Weekly they have a sale on at least one item that just can not be beat. Staff is friendly and it looks like they hire a lot of our communities school aged youth. Love that!

Pharmacist was very pleasant and helpful. Very aware of his clients well being! A must go again! ️

Good selection, clean store *edit: march 29,9pm, cash 6, i originaly gave 4 star review, but twice now i have had rude service, and that is something i dont tolerate from a store i shop at, very unfortunate: (. Edit again! Rude service, same cashier, unbelievable, zero stars, lol, not that you care but you have lost my familys business.

Its a perfect sized grocery store. I go for what I need without getting sidetracked by clothes and electronics.good prices.price matching. Friendly, helpful staff. They are patient and polite. The lines are quick with cashiers and self checkout available. Overall in am happy to shop here and satisfied when I check my receipt.

Beautiful store set up, always clean, and being rearranged to fit the season's and all the staff are just wonderful so professional, happy, and actually listen to my rambling on.lol

Has some good deals at times. The lay out of the store is typical. Produce is fresh most of the time as well as the meat.

Staff are young but for the most part professional and helpful. Store is clean. No panhandlers out front of the store which is a nice change (at least when I have visited).

Worth checking the place out.

Go there if you want basic groceries for low prices. Just don't expect to be doted upon by the staff and you'll have a great time.

Go check out the bulk isle there is no bin numbers anywhere so when you get up to the front they ask you what the bin number is and you don't have it because they don't have it

I love this place.we buy their lost leaders. The deals you can get are amazing! Worth checking weekly!

Garbage produce. Strawberries we're rotten. Cucumbers are all yellow and soft. Lots of fruit flies around the tomatoes. Not fresh at all. Good prices on cheese, beans and lentils however

Door crasher deals are excellent pricing! The staff are friendly. I’m there usually to pick up items I’m low on in between my big shopping days twice a month. Prices are pretty good. Lots of specialty Greek items which I love! Dolmades, pita bread, Kalamata olives, Feta, olive oil, hummus. Used to have Baklava but I noticed they don’t carry it anymore. The cashier asked a clerk in the grocery department and she said that I could go to a the bakery to pick it up there; obviously didn’t know they used to carry it.

Amazing place love the bright lime green colour of the store. Cashiers are very well trained. Great customer service. Very helpful staff. The only thing needs to be changed is at the checkouts. The buggy is bigger then those checkouts aisles.

Such a new clean store. They often have advertised items in stock, the staff are friendly and and knowledgeable. The prices on the non sale items are fair. I've yet to line up in a long line-up.

Food quality reflects prices-: >cheap! It was my 3rd time there and probably last. Fresco has bearly any organic fruits and vegetables and very limited meat variety. Customer service is excellent but item selection is horrible. Too bad: (

Decent place to shop. Decent prices. Terrible place to work. If you are looking for a job I would look elsewhere. I was treated terribly after working hard and being on time for all of my shifts. And I am not alone. Other employees have been as well. I would run for the hills. You have been warned

Very bad customer service.very very unpleasant cashier, no smile and didn't even answer when I tried talking, very rude.i think staff need some customer service training. If you want to compete with walmart & superstore in your neighborhood then you need to have very good customer service.good luck

I often come here to buy food and I am very happy with most of the store staff. The sole exception being one pharmacy staff with shoulder length dyed hair. I needed help finding sone medication. Instead of providing assistance she simply pointed me in a direction. Her attitude really surprised me. I was at a loss and asked her if they had a pharmacist? She pointed to another lady. The second pharmacy staff member was great and very helpful. I'm very thankful for her assistance.

No on site bakery, no deli, does not have the "feel" of a supermarket. Almost like a Value Village atmosphere. The only good thing is the pharmacy and some more competition for the other grocery stores.

As one reviewer said, Wal-Mart quality, Safeway prices. Some brands are clearly overpriced compared to counter-parts (eg.salads are a dollar higher) I'm going back to Superstore as my main. Only saving grace is Freshco is open 'til 11 p.m. But I consider this place a hyped-up convenience store. Better to go to Shoppers for one-offs; they're even open to midnight.

New store, just opened. The specials are very well priced. Regular prices look fairly high, on a few items. Can't say if that is all items. We got 4 bags of groceries for $70 +. Also, their gas prices were the best I saw in town, and I filled up.

This FreshCo replaced Safeway are you serious.
Nothing fresh there except the produce, meat selection of Walmart. It's all frozen.
No bakery, alot of what shop for, just ain't there.
Heads up SaveOns, Superstore nothing to worry about here. I'll pay the extra few bucks for the Good stuff.
I know what this town needs.
A Thrifties Foods. A community minded Grocery Store. If not how about this Quality Foods.

It's bright, clean and some party foods that I have not tried before, picked up some going to give them a try.

Very organized, good produce, lots of variety and friendly staff. Good selection of bread but bakery goods are Walmart quality. Miss my Safeway!

Only spent $103 where anywhere else would have been 160-180 buxs with the amount I got.was cheap enough I got ice cream

Prices are way too expensive, no diversity in hiring, the manager lied to my a friend of mine they they will hire her but when you enter store its all people they know.i don't shop at your store its not a diverse place.not recommended. I am sure you will soon go out of business like Safeway.
