Fresh Is Best

They sell frozen yuca for pasteles, achiote for oil, and other fun finds for making Puerto Rican food including Goya sofrito plus guava paste for pastelillos. They also sell a Spanish rice which I use for arroz con gandules, very tasty. Get fresh culantro and banana leaves from a Vietnamese market, and pigeon peas from Instacart.

Highly recommend for others trying to get a taste of home while far from New York City and the island. Very clean and well organized.

My go to place for plantain chips! Lots of authentic topical snacks and seasonings. Whatever you get here you’re going to absolutely love. The owners are also super genuinely nice people!

Large selection of hot sauces (mild to extreme hot and mild sweet and maybe hot sweet), a selection of chips and dips, even pinuatas, be a go to place for the Super Bowl stock up. Prices are very competitive. Employees are very helpful and they use their own products. Been coming here for over six years now.
