Fresh Paint

The fresh paint team did a wonderful job on our home. We painted the whole house and it was quite a job repairing the damaged walls from the previous owners. The level of service and the care that Fresh Paint employees showed my family was second to none. Not only did their quote beat the competition but we could not ask for more from a painting company. Thank you Fresh Paint!

Chris and George at Fresh Paint are rock stars! The work was impeccable. They turned our newly purchased dirty dingy loft into a clean haven. So amazing!

My 112 year fir floors had just been repaired and refinished at great expense but since the household furnishings were all removed, I thought it was a good time to paint the interior walls. I met with the estimator of Fresh Paint who assured me that my floors would be protected during the painting and added the following comment to the project scope - "Brand new fir floors throughout ** Be very careful as they are a softer wood that scratches easily**"
When the painters paper was removed I was horrified to see many scratches and gouges on my livingroom floor and a very large scratch and gouge where my stove had been pulled out in order to paint behind it, even though I had provided RAM board to protect the floor.
At first I received great sympathy and apologies from the FreshPaint GM when he viewed the floors, then shortly afterwards, I received a phone call saying that I, a senior with a ruptured shoulder tendon, must have done the damage myself. Even so, Freshpaint offered to have the painter fix my floors "Free of charge". My floor restorers estimate to re-coat was not acceptable to them.
I had not realized that Fresh Paint sub-contracted out the Painting job.
The end result was a discount of $150 from the sub-contracted Painter and $150 from Fresh Paint which they considered "an acceptable solution".
Acceptable to who I ask? Unfortunately the stress of this was overwhelming, the victim blaming too much. I had to move on. I cannot afford to repair the damage done by Freshpaint, nor should I have to. Hard lesson learned.
My advice - find out first who is actually doing the painting and talk to them directly.

If you're hiring this company or working for them, please be aware what you're getting yourself into. You're dealing with an owner (Justin) that doesn't pay his employees (even with contracts in place) and has a list of legal matters. What happened to integrity, not cutting corners, and simply doing the right thing? Protect yourself and avoid this company at all costs.

We hired Fresh Paint to paint the interior of our new condo. They did a fantastic job. Cameron and Chris were professionals all the way through. Communication and estimates were prompt and transparent. We wanted 5 colours (dark hues: black, dark grey, light grey, purple, and green) and wanted them custom cut in specific places to create accent walls. Chris made our vision come to life and the lines he cut were perfectly straight and the colours were bold with a subtle sheen. Overall, we are very happy with the job that was done for the price that was quoted. We will be sure to call Fresh Paint next time we want to paint our house. Will be adding photos to this posting once we have them.

Chris and George repainted our entire condo before we moved in and it looks fantastic! The team is very professional, from the first contact to the final completion. Cameron, Andy and George were involved. The response was very timely. My unit has furniture inside and I asked for a specific date for the project, which was quite challenging and causing much inconvenience for the contractor. But they did great work and finished it within two days! I appreciated for the work!

We strongly recommend Fresh Paint. We checked many paint contractors in our area and FP was the first to respond after making an online quote request. Don't assume the online quote will match the final, which in our case was well under it, but it is useful to see how a painting quote is calculated. We received a call the day after making an online request and Paul, our estimator arrived ON TIME a few days later and a detailed quote was presented also on the same day. This quote was the clearest and detailed we've seen from a contractor. Some adjustments were easily made and a convenient date set. An FP pro came for a walk through ON TIME and Jo and her team arrived days later ON TIME and finished a super job ON TIME. She waited when finished to do a completion walkthrough and a microscopic painting miss was quickly done. Super impressed with FP from start to finish and we are very happy with the cost and quality of the project. FP will be our next painters and they should be yours.

Dwayne did a great job for us and addressed any issues we had promptly. Drake also helped us find a guy to fix our rotting fascia boards before they could paint. We were very pleased with the job they did and found Dwayne easy to work with. Super nice guy!

Fresh Paint staff were extremely accommodating and professional to finding the right painters for a difficult project to paint very high vaulted ceilings that required a smoke seal. Kerrygold painting did an absolutely amazing job and was able to complete the project on time even with a delayed start from our end. We Highly recommended fresh paint and Kerrygold painting as the source to your next painting project, we promise you will be satisfied, stress- free and happy.

We have hired the Fresh Paint staff in two different occasions for painting our indoor walls at home. They have been super professional and the work they did was flawless. We are VERY satisfied with the service they provided at all times and the final results. The very last time it was Chris who came in to paint, he also did minor repairs in the walls and ceiling.
