Great place to shop for groceries. But you have to be careful when buying bread or produce. I have seen mouldy bread when it wasn't close to expiry. Or produce that doesn't look great. Needs to be cooler in the store maybe.

Sad to report this is the worst grocery store I ever been in. The front door was broken so I squeezed through the exit door to find boxes stacked on end isles (get your own cans out of the boxes), sparse options in meats - no fresh fish. We bought a bag of carrots that turned out to be slimy and one day short of expiry. This store feels more like a food bank! Hopefully the food bank offers fresher stuff…

I love to shop here because of the location and especially on deal days they have great bargains. They have some unique brands which are great and reasonable which makes us come back here again and again!

Love this location. Always has the freshest produce, and lots of stock of all the locations.

Easy going grocery. I found good prices on ice cream, yogurt, produce. Not much wait at checkout.

To be truthful I was' nt sure I liked this place. I've changed my mind after shopping here more often. It's the place to go for reasonable pricing and I find the staff so helpful. Thank you

Is it now Freshco's policy to not help customers bag their purchases? The young male cashier refused to help pack my reusable bags when asked. It would have been faster for him to at least assist me. He looked very disinterested and let the customer in front of me leave without their bill, even after I pointed that out to him. This is not a store for seniors to shop at.

When you feel unsafe in a store there is a problem

The new scene membership is inferior to many other loyalty program. This is independently owned so the owner is getting very stingy on giving raincheck. Corporate office should investigate store owner (s) who does not follow Corp rules.

Staff are helpful and friendly, but food on the shelves is frequently past its "best by date" and the price on the shelf may be lower than the price you are charged at the till.

A horrible store. Repeatedly long line ups with only one cashier on. Outdated products on a regular basis and the staff don’t pull them or care.

Generally the store is not bad. I just stay away from fresh meat because the quality is really bad. I had to bring the meat back several times because it was stinky already. And it's overpriced. They don't sell meat by weight.

We no longer live close, so we shop here when we are in Richmond. Empty shelves of advertised specials, coupon/raincheck is useless when it involves such a drive. I don't know if it was out of stock or just not put out. We did not see a single employee other than the cashiers, so no shelves were being stocked, nor dairy, particularly eggs needed replenishing.

I called the store and two times, the call went first to a beeping sound and then someone hung up the call or it got cancelled. Literally two times same thing. Very unhappy with their phone service.

First time going to this grocery store. Only 2 cashiers open with line ups. Could just be timing.

Very good store. Cheap prices. I don't get one thing though. A lot of good snacks and also one of the few places in Richmond that sells kvas

Prices generally good, but staff are inexperienced and under trained. I had an issue where I was overcharged, asked for customer service to get it resolved, and was told there is no customer service. Asked to speak to manager but after 10+ minutes, manager never arrived.

I was impressed when I visited this store when it opened. I'm not as impressed now. The opening specials which were such good deals have been replaced by rotating specials which are no different from any other chain. As this store's motto is "Lowering Food Prices" they are not measuring up to their own press.

Parking at this location is terrible. It is very difficult to get in and out of the parking lot which is way too small for the number of stores in the strip mall.

Inventory is an issue. Perhaps they have not gotten used to their ordering system yet but I find them to be short on certain items that I want. Unfortunately I have had to go to other stores to get these things and since I prefer to get my shopping over and done with easily I won't be going back to Fresh Co.

Bought some ground pork. When opened the package it was rotten, very stinky. Expiry date was 4 days later. I will never shop there again.

Competitive pricing (better than the Safeway it used to be before), fresh produce and nice assortment of goods (pointing more towards the Asian clientele). The ailes and the lineup area are a bit narrow, coupled with busy times can make using carts difficult.

The overall store is ok basically just like Safeway, definitely no real deals though prices are actually kinda high, if I was gonna pay these prices I would go to Save On Foods it’s better, for good deals stick with Walmart or Superstore

Recently reopened as a FreshCo outlet. Until last year, it used to be a Safeway. It's similar to the other FreshCo outlets across Canada but it's slightly smaller and it might be difficult to use a shopping cart during busy times. Good variety of meat produce was also available.

Hope they keep the standards and bring more discounts and products to this outlet.

I bought chicken from this newly opened store, the chicken was stinking when we opened to cook it therefore we went back to return it.the dated best before was 3 days later.the associate returned it but there was no sorry nothing, just we were asked to present the receipt to do the return.
Not a good first time experience

If you're looking to ruin your day with rude staff members and inconsiderate clientele, shop here. A few savings is not worth the experience. Thumbs down Sobeys Safeway was a friendly neighbourhood store but this Freshco has lost any ounce of humanity. I'll never go back even if it was last store open on earth.
