Freshslice Pizza

Came in 4: 05pm on Saturday, November 25th. Normally get 3 slices of pepperoni with pop $10.xx w/taxes. Today, I noticed the pepperoni was a bit dry and cold looking and I see the meat lovers almost coming out. There is still 2 slices of meat lovers sitting looking a bit cold and I prefer to pay for the hot slices of any pizza coming freshly out of the oven.

*First response from service worker - "it's for whole order only" @ 4: 05pm

I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni and a slice of beef (looks hot and fresh).

At 4: 08pm the whole meat lovers pizza come out, and at 4: 10pm it goes directly into the display window.

*Second response from service worker - "we don't need to lie to you, customer cancelled" at 4: 12pm when I questioned of how come I was denied service for the fresh slices. Repetitive response over and over again from both workers insulting my intelligence with a grin from one.

If I have been said "no you cannot have it" then I would have no issues. It's just the fact the situation was handled poorly and dishonest. Staff needs proper re-training or re-hire a new team. I have been coming to this location since 2013.and the lack of care went down. In 2021/2022 staff was still better than this and super friendly.

Really bad experience i want to place a order but they don’t pick up the call. Hopefully next time they will pickup call on time so costumer don’t have to waste their time.

Worst experience, so rude lady, no service provided for chilli flakes, literally worst experience i could ever have.u guys should shut down your store.

Ordering here is a nightmare. I ordered three medium size pizzas 1 hour ago and when I arrived told me to wait another 40 minutes. There's only one person here and she feels like it's the way it is. Never even apologize

The pizza was made to order taste was amazing excellent amount of topping only issue which is definately not to down size the importance for quality is that the dough was soggy for the loaded pizza but the Hawaiian pizza was okay. They really need to correct this! But taste was amazing.

The food was good but they dont know the customer service its tooo bad i also work in the restaurant and i know the meaning of customer service. She was rude with me and my bf it was worst experience i came here for first time and it was my last time.

It is the staff’s hard work and their behaviour with the customers that elevate the store’s rating. Whenever i visit there, i always get good hospitality and to be more specific i get well treated by employee ARADHANA, she is one the finest and amazing worker i have ever seen in any store. Awesome customer service and hospitality.

I had an amazing experience at this store. One of the employees ARADHANA, is soo good, she treated me very politely and she has great customer service skills.

Ordered directly on the Freshslice website so I could avoid third party delivery companies. They contracted the delivery out to Doordash anyway. Doordash link shows only a loading icon, no status or info. Driver calls and says Freshslice gave the pizza to another driver. Spent over 45 minutes on the phone with Freshslice, who gave me every excuse in the book; “calling our manager”, “calling Doordash”. They indicated DD had to refund me, even though the charge on my credit card is from Freshslice. Continuously hung up on me. Would not accept responsibility and would not simply remake the pizzas and send out new ones.

I still do not have a refund. This was an insane experience just to order pizza and at the end of the day I was stuck with a $50 credit card charge, no pizza and a group of hungry people.

Zero problems with other locations, but AVOID THIS LOCATION. Order delivery from another location.

UPDATE: Owner / Freshslice team responded to this review providing the email to reach out to to have the issue rectified. I have already sent multiple emails AND phoned their head office, and have not gotten a response. I heard from the manager of this specific location by phone once who indicated the issue would be resolved within one day, never heard again and did not answer any of my follow-up calls. I've now reverted to my credit card to reverse the charges.

Can I go lower than a one star review?

Coupons are a great deal. You can order, go get some beer, come back and pick up your order. Nice staff. DTES, do some riff raff, but manageable.

Didn’t let me wash hands. Not even free dip when giving a review. Changing it to one star.

To be honest not that good and also not cheap
But they have some dine in seats and TV
If you need a bit rest, it’s not bad to choose.

Worst customer service ever! The lady super rude, she doesn’t have any manners, she didn’t even warm up our pizza, she looked annoyed of what she was doing…

After being in Vancouver for 3 weeks. Is was delightful to find this establishment.extremely friendly staff and perfectly crunchy crust flavorful meat lovers, pepperoni pizza and a Hawaiian pizza as well were all very satisfying.
