I have received waxing services from many places over the years but Sonia has been the best for getting comfortable, efficient, and effective waxing. She helps me to feel right at home, and provides very personable and friendly service. Every time I am amazed by the level of high quality waxing service she provides with such practice and ease, I feel fortunate to have found such a talented esthetician!

Sonia is an angel with tons of patience and amazing advice ️. She makes sure her clients are comfortable and ready. She is super patient and brings joy into the whole session which makes it super easy to go through a Brazilian wax. I honestly loved having Sonia take care of me and would definitely recommend her! She’s only there on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays so make sure you arrange your dates! ️️

Listen, I know what you’re thinking, getting waxed is always a not fun experience. That’s just the harsh reality of it, you’re ripping hair off a very sensitive area and it’s bound to hurt. So, take all of that into consideration when I tell you this was the absolute loveliest experience ever! This is only my 2nd time coming here, and I already know I won’t be going to any other places for my waxing needs. I picked it because they were conveniently right across the street from where I work, and figured I’d try it out. For the past few years I’ve been waxing at home after I moved away from my old regular place. I’ve been getting waxed for almost 10 years, but I was 6 months pregnant when I first went and couldn’t really…reach anymore. The first time I went in for a basic “Canadian” wax just to get a hang of the experience. I called them ahead of time to make sure it was ok that I was pregnant and they were incredibly lovely and said it was totally fine - and it was! The lady who saw me was great and I was very surprised at the quality of not only the service itself, but also the wax that they used. It made it not hurt as much which I was very impressed with! With all of that in mind I booked a full Brazilian for my 2nd time, at this point I was 37 weeks pregnant. Brazilians are never fun, but Annemarie was an absolute Queen! She was incredibly professional, made sure I was very comfortable and walked me through all the steps. She was lovely to chat with as well, which helped distract from what was going on down there. I was sad to hear it was her last day, she did an exemplary job! I even texted my husband after saying that I knew it was a weird comment to make but that had been a very lovely experience. This review is already long enough, but all of this to say that I 10000% recommend Frilly Lilly (specifically the Yaletown location) and you have a new client for life now! Can’t wait to try their other services, as I’m sure they’ll be just wonderful at it as well.

Went in for a brow wax/tint and upper lip wax. Have been looking for a new place and read fairly positive reviews. The atmosphere is lovely and the esthetician was very sweet. I think for generic waxing (upper lip, arms) it’s fine. However if you are looking for professionally shaped brows (which I am use to) would not recommend. Luckily she didn’t remove too much hair so I can try elsewhere in a month but sadly will not be returning as I just don’t think the level of training provided is up to par with some of the professional brow bars around. She also managed to leave me with 4 bleeding hair cuticles of where she had poorly tweezed. I’ve been getting my brows professionally done for years and never experienced this.

Was hoping to like this place due to the convenience of the location close to my new place.

I have been coming to this place for waxing for years and their service has been very consistent. Although some of the technicians come and go, their use of hard wax stands out from other salons. Makes it so less more painful than soft wax. I live 30 min away but still drive out to see them.

Today was my first time visiting Frilly Lilly and I was seriously impressed. Christie was excellent. She is highly skilled, professional and made me feel comfortable.

Vancouver BEST Brazilian wax. Wow wow wow. So happy. Atmosphere is super cute, too! They even sell jewelery and scarves and body lotions, etc. Can't praise this place enough. Fast and nearly painless!

Eyelash tint. My first time. Felt I was taken care of! Recieved a complementary hand massage while the dye was processing. Happy with results. Will be going back!

What a cute establishment. I was visiting Vancouver for a day and only had plans in the evening. I booked a wax online and directed myself through the city on the Skytrain. I left the airport and the train let me off a short walk away.

It is downtown but easily accessible if you are near the Skytrain.

They use hard wax for the majority of their Brazilian which leaves you painfree and you continue your day. Would go back again if I am back in town and need a wax!

My go-to for waxing services in Vancouver. The service is lovely, friendly and professional. Every aesthetician has an amazing background of experience and knowledge. I recommend to book with Christie as she is gentle and quick!
