I have been a client of Bita’s for a long time and I highly recommend her as a stylist. I always have a very friendly and professional experience!

This was my first time at From Hair On and I’m so happy I found this place! I’ve been getting haircuts and colouring with Raina for over a year now and followed her here from a previous salon. She is an amazing hair stylist and always does such a great job with my balayage highlights! Aiden was also very kind and welcoming during my time at the salon. I highly recommend this place for any of your hair needs!

I’ve known Maryam for over 25 years for different treatment beside laser hair removal.
I honestly can not recommend any other place or person other than her. Maryam is the most amazing and kind person and business owner that I have ever seen.

Very competitive pricing. I bought a package for a few sessions and I felt that the sessions were really quick, I could definitely feel it working, and the technician is very good at listening to requests and making sure that you are comfortable.

I’m so happy with Bita’s job and she is highly recommended for hair highlight and styling. She listened to me very patiently to find the exact color I meant to and advised how to do the hair job that it doesn’t hurt. The result looks so chic and was much better than what I expected without even doing bleaching! She is super friendly and since she cares about her customers’ satisfaction, she does her job in a high quality level. I’ve done my eyebrows job with her couple of times and I love it too. She is a natural artist!
Also, cost wise I’m so happy with the rates.
Although I am not living in the neighbourhood, I will definitely come back to her for any hair and eyebrows jobs in future.

I bought the laser treatment from Groupon, and I couldn't be happier with the service. Maryan is kind and gentle, and was accommodating with how often I was late. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for hair removal services.

Miriam is incredible! I have been going to her for my laser hair removal since 2020. She is gentle and kind. She's good at what she does and makes you feel so comfortable. Her prices are way more reasonable than what most places charge and I'm seeing results. She is honest with her clients and you can tell she puts you first.
I've also gone to her for waxing and she continues to do a great job time and time again.

Going to a hair dresser was always a gamble, usually ending in disappointment until I found Bita. She consistently impressed me with any cut or style I ask for. I haven’t let anyone else touch my hair in over 5 years.

Do not go here! The business is rude and they riped me off. Told me my appointment was on friday and thursday calls me to tell me i missed the appointment. Wont let me rebook and they told groupon i redeemed the service! If you insist on going there do not tell them your groupon code!

This is the second time I had negative experience at this salon. I had to walk out as the hairdresser I believe her name is Evie kept arguing with me re just trimming the deadends. Apparently getting a haircut is a very complicated issue for the hairdresser.

Last year she screwed up with the toner for my highlights.

Honestly I thought I would get a different hairdresser, one who is creative and knows how to deliver a good job on your hair. But alas that was not the case here.

So I went down the street to Sora's hair design.

Minoo is lovely lady who gave me a really nice haircut. I say that is the place to go where the hairdresser has the experience to provide what you as a customer are looking for.

I am very pleased with the service I received today. The salon was clean, bright, and the staff all greeted me when I entered. I purchased a groupon for laser hair removal. My first session was today and Miryam was warm, professional, and kind. She explained the process and answered any questions I had. I felt welcomed and comfortable, and will most definitely return. I appreciate that there was clear communication, a pleasant atmosphere, and wonderful service.

Great place! As a mom of toddlers it has sadly been months since my last cut. Time for myself is limited. Sara not only squeezed me in, gave me a shampoo, cut, dry, straighten, and style in less than 45 min. She did an amazing job! Im so thankful I found Sara and this salon. I have been coming to “From Hair On” for many years. Bita colours my hair, giving me highlights, cut and style on a regular basis. I love how I look when I am done and I always get positive compliments from others on how nice my hair looks, even weeks later. All of the hair stylists here are so nice they are all experienced and all of their clients seem to be happy from their hair cuts, colours and styles from what I have seen. I like the hair products that “From Hair On” sells, especially the hair masks to more deeply condition my hair. I have also done laser on my legs. Maryam, the owner is very nice and patient with me when she does the laser. They show great hospitality by offering me coffee, tea or water to drink while I’m here. They also offer facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures. I would highly recommend everyone to come here.

What a fabulous experience getting ready with my girls in the morning for my wedding October 5,2018. I had brought pictures of hairstyles for each of us and they couldn't have turned out better! Amazing! Thank you so much:)

Okay so I bought a groupon for a 6 Brazilian laser hair removal treatments. I got there and she told me that inside the butt was additional (never heard of a Brazilian that didn’t include that) so I paid extra for that and then she told me I had to pay tax for the entire thing because the groupon doesn’t include tax! Lol. I spend about 300$-350$ or so for everything if I can recall. I went in and on the third time I said this isn’t working.and every treatment after that I told her it’s not working. I’ve had laser removal before and I saw a difference after the first treatment. I did it 10 years ago and started to notice Re growth but didn’t have that much hair. She kept giving me excuses like oh maybe it’s not high enough or maybe It’s your hormones. So the last treatment after me complaining she turned it way up with out freezing me properly and burned me. I’ve had laser removal done on that area over 6 times it never hurt like that (it wasn’t painlesss) and it worked about 15% every time. She totally didn’t care that I wasn’t happy. After 6 treatments I have 0% less hair. It’s the same. Super disappointed because I completely wasted my money. I was just talking to a friend who is reccomending a new laser removal lady for me since I have to go and spend more to redo. I do not recommend wasting your money on getting treatment at this place. I just noticed how many bad reviews this place has. Clearly they have a horrible reputation all around, especially with group on deals.

I have been seeing the Esthetician, Denise, for 20+ years and couldn't recommend her more highly. After trying many other spas & salons and having a variety of waxing mishaps, she was so professional, friendly and clearly very good at what she does, so I have continued to see her for waxing, pedicures, manicures, facial and laser treatment. From Hair On is worth the drive out from Burnaby. The shop is bright and clean and all the employees are friendly and welcoming. I've also had waxing done by Maryam and my hair done by Sera and Gracyn. Definitely would recommend this salon!
