I recently visited Fruticana Grocery, and I must say that my experience was mixed. While there were positive aspects to the store, I encountered some billing issues that left me concerned. In both instances, I observed discrepancies in how they charged for products, which highlighted the need for customers to be vigilant and double-check their bills before leaving the store.

1. **Billing Accuracy**:
The most prominent issue that I encountered during my visits to Fruticana Grocery was related to billing accuracy. The statement "These girls are not billing properly" resonates with my experiences. On my first visit, I purchased 200 grams of chili, but to my surprise, I was billed for a whopping 2 kilograms of chili. This significant overcharge was undoubtedly frustrating and left me questioning the integrity of their billing process.

2. **Inconsistent Pricing**:
During my second visit, I noticed another billing anomaly. Fruticana Grocery charged a higher price for both red and yellow onions. It was puzzling to see that both types of onions were priced the same, albeit at a higher rate than expected. This inconsistency in pricing raised concerns about their pricing structure.

3. **Vigilance Is Key**:
Given the billing issues I encountered, I strongly recommend that customers exercise caution and double-check their bills before leaving the store. While it's essential for businesses to maintain accurate billing practices, it's equally important for customers to verify their purchases to avoid any surprises.

Also, indian groceries are cheaper here.

Its a big fruiticana store. The thing i loved about the store is it has golgappas stall outside it. Me & my boyfriend enjoys the street food and grocery at this location.

Rude staff doesn’t know how to
Communicate told her need a bag. Management needs to train there staff to respect customers. This “big ego mentality” will not get you far in the retail business.

The store supervisor refused to exchange or refund me for bad buttermilk I bought yesterday. I will never shop at this location again.

Nice place to buy fruits and fresh vegetables, All Indian items are available, grocery baskets are also available. I visited fruitcana so many times, employees handling the rush in a proper manner and are very fast and friendly. Overall experience is good.

Cashiers like to talk amongst themselves than the customers. Repeatedly asked me same questions, still didn't do as communicated. So busy amongst themselves. Was not a big line up or anything. Weird honestly. 2 stars only because of the products that are available.

I like their store but their lack of customer service is frustrating.cashiers have little to no communication skills.cashiers are tuned out like they are working a production line when it's a customer facing skilled job.

Be careful when you buying box of mangoes most of it is bad ones. I bought a box paid $14 most were rotten could not believe they would do that.

One of the busiest Fruiticana. Staff is helpful. Gluten free corn tortillas, fresh vegetables, good variety of Indian vegetables, Indian kitchen Utensils and household items. Ample parking space.

Great veggie prices. All those veggies that don't look perfect enough for the bug box store can be found here tasting great and saving you a bundle.

Today a elderly man requested to go to the washroom and was denied by the employees. Apparently the restroom is “closed” or only for employees. There should be a designated washroom for customers, especially at a high regarded franchise like, Fruticana. Cleanliness is also an issue at this location. Fruticana needs to work on improving their customers experience at this central location.

Good place shopping Indian grocery. You find almost every Indian things in this store and staff is also so helpful.

This is a very good grocery store they give me the best deals even better than sabzi mandi express! I LOVE this stores layout it's such a worry free and great environment. Visited so many other locations of fruiticana stores, but this one location is quite cleaned and the items were fresh.

Visited this location today. They had different price for a product on the online flyer and in store. Went to the cashier to double check about it by showing online flyer, cashier was on phone and didn’t even bothered to listen. Then after the call she said whatever the price is in store that’s the price (even after showing that their online flyer says some different price and the flyer was valid till date which is August 5).

Then she went to some other associate/cashier and might have explained the scenario. That another girl then went somewhere outside (I am guessing she went to someone higher in authority to check what needs to be done) and came back with a piece of paper that had some writings with pen on it. Again this another girl also hardly bothered to listen (I won’t take her name here as I don’t feel it’s a good practice).

Initially she said she what ever the paper with writing says is all that’s true and then she said she don’t have the authority to change the price as her supervisor is not in today. Then while leaving, I asked if some other manger is there with whom I can talk, she replied she is the supervisor right now. I mean seriously, at first you are saying supervisor is not in then you are saying you are the supervisor.

For me it’s was not about the price but the way they guys treat is really rude and should definitely be improved. We are in Canada not to witness the same treatment/practices which are common in the places from where we come.

Hoping not to get to experience the same kind of rude customer service again.

Cheap thinking of staff because if you are shopping there and have your stuff in bag even in backpack they come to that person and asked to leave bag in a bucket. How a person leave his or her stuff if there are cards, money and macbook in bag. Are they responsible if someone's stuff will be lost there.worst experience of shopping over there. Even the store is not organized and clean.

No Covid 19 rules in this store. Store was packed way to many people and most of them did not care as they came way to close to me. Not going back here

If there is anything on sale make sure that you're not getting any expired stuff because lots of items which they put on discount are not good

Over the years I have never met a staff member that wasn’t friendly. They are all very kind, welcoming, and very proficient. The inclusive environment this location provides is the main reason I go there. The layout has changed since my last visit and I think it was planned and executed quite well. The store is always well stocked, organized, well labeled, clean, and competitively priced.
I would like to give a special customer service mention to Davinder whose kindness made my night. Thank you!

Very good fruiticana. You know I have visited a lot of dessi (Indian punjabi) stores not all are that organized, well Maintained but kudos to the owner and employees really good. I live very far but whenever I had to go to fruiticana I drive there even it’s away from house but it satisfied me. Thanks you guys for doing such work. Other Indian store should learn from it.

Indian grocery store with lots of variety. You can get most of indian products here from fresh vegetables and fruits to all kind of spices. Prices are competitive and also according to the quality of stuff you are buying.

Fruticana hi jana.haha there selling song is so catchy. If you miss Indian food and spices this is the one place you get it all.

Great place to find Indian vegetables and groceries. Friends staff. Park your car behind the building. Front parking is too busy.

If you are looking for Indian brands in Canada then fruiticana is the place where you must go. The vegetables and grocery is priced well and the staff is very helpful. I am a regular customer and I recommend this store to anyone who love Indian brands for grocery. One star deducted for not so clean floor. If the store owner is reading this review please do the needful.

Clean place and vegetables were fresh. Cant really beat their prices when comparing them to the grocery stores so I shop at Friticana.

Best south Asian/Indian grocery store in west. No comparison with other stores in area. You can find fresh produce and all other grocery items.
