Very scenic and beautiful. Completely gimmicky course, and the pace of play was over 5 hours in the off season on a mid afternoon weekday. No course Marshall out there to speed things up. Would not be back.

Cram tee times together which causes huge wait times for every shot. No marshals enforcing pace of play, they’d rather worry about a par 3 contest which was falsely advertised online. By the end of the round there were 5 groups on some holes. Solid views though

Beautiful scenery and very poor management. A group of six of us were blown away when we played golf. There was an Asian patrolling the venue to discriminate against the Chinese. The attitude is bad. These patrols have no management experience at all. Someone in front of me kept calling me to tee off on the green, constantly harassing us to play, but not urging the front group. I think it's because the group in front is 4 foreigners

Beautiful views and fun layout. Playing smart golf is a good idea here, as many fairways are more narrow than your average course. Super fun course and the service is good too. Will definitely be back.

If golf is a sport, then Furry Creek is an experience. There’s just something inexplicably satisfying about hooking your shots into the Howe sound.

Being totally honest, this is an unbelievable course! The views are simply out of this world! The best course I’ve ever played and I’ve played a few nice ones in my time! The ultimate test for long and short game! Bad shots will be punished! Bring lots of balls! Customer service is always excellent. The one minor thing I would say is the restaurant dosent open late enough if you have a late round. A later closing time would be nice but it’s still 5 stars! Played 3 times now and will definitely be back again and again!

Small practice green & 2 driving nets before the first hole.
Rubber tees at the driving nets need replacing, and it would've been nice to have an attack wedge & rescue wood with the rental clubs.

While scenic it’s a terrible layout. Many of the holes offer ridiculous options off the tee forcing a 320+ yard carry or limiting to no more than 175 to avoid the hazard. Others have completely blind landing areas with contours that kick into hazards or squishy ground that’ll result in deeply plugged lies. On top of that there’s far too much backtracking to tee boxes or landing areas from the cart turnarounds and pullouts. Go play in Whistler instead

Stunning course, but one person in our group got stung by 5 wasps on hole 4 - there was a hive in the ground right beside the green. Definitely had an impact on the rest of our round.

Didn't go for the golf!
We got stranded in the car for hours due to an MVA on the highway headed to Squamish.
Stopped in hoping to get some food - unfortunately they had just shut the kitchen.
So why a five star review? Without having to ask, the man working the reception desk offers us water, use of the restrooms and filled us in on the highway situation. He was very pleasant although im sure he had had the same convo dozens of times already, while trying to cover for all of their staff that couldn't get to work.
Ill be sure to stop by for a meal next time I'm passing through. The view from the patio looked stunning!

Views and greens are incredible, been 10 years since I played and always thought just a tourist trap but better than i remember.
Golf valet experience mixed, valet looked Like he would rather be anywhere else and his service showed it. He swore a few times and was biligerent to landscaping groundscrew.
No vegetarian options at the kiosk, Fae at the kiosk tried Everything for us to try and get one from the kitchen. Kitchen very unhelpful and disappointed they couldn't be a little creative (cheese sandwich perhaps) Fae is gold and should be the measure of service there.

$140 for a course with worse tee boxes than my local pitch and putt, and It’s not even winter golf… 5hr + round for a course that plays 5500 yards, with no Marshal to keep pace up. You’ll be waiting every shot. You’re paying for a few scenic holes, that’s the only reason why it’s not a 1 star.

The experience is ruined if you cannot pay your workers to show up. We were charged full price for a full service world class golf experience. Yet no restaurant open. One person there at 7: 30 for our tee time at 8. No one to greet us no coffee no one in pro shop…empty place. 7: 45 they open pro shop. You are 45 mins from Vancouver, if you know the restaurant will be closed why weren’t we told so we could bring extra coffee and something for breakfast. Sure would have been nice to have lunch after the round as well…or even a Gatorade & snack…. Not at this so-called world class course. Shame on you.

Golf was fantastic. Couldn't ask for nicer views or conditions. In Vancouver area (visiting from the prairies) for just a week and chose this to play based on reviews. It did not disappoint! My only complaint is my group was thirsty an hungry after the round, went to restaurant and stood there for 10 minutes and nobody seemed to interested in helping us out. Hada long drive back to our hotel on an empty stomach.

We stumbled upon Furry Creek 2 years ago when we were searching for a venue to host our wedding. The First-Tee ceremony site was absolutely stunning and the course itself is so beautiful, it made our photographers jobs easier with the picturesque landscapes. Everyone at Furry Creek from Brad, Kylie, Kalinda, Lynette and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day went off without a hitch. Brad is incredibly charismatic and friendly and made us feel so at ease with choosing Furry Creek as our wedding venue. Kylie was instrumental as our venue point of contact leading up to the day and was very responsive and helpful during our planning process. Her and Kalinda both made sure that our ceremony and reception on the day of was on schedule, set up how we wanted it, and truly helped us turn our vision into a reality. Our guests raved about the food selections from both the cocktail hour and the reception dinner. From start to finish, Furry Creek was incredible to work with and essential in bringing our wedding day dreams to life.

I visited the golf course today (2022 Sep 3). As my hubby played golf, I stayed at the clubhouse. I got served by one of the most kind and generous restaurant staff I have ever met, his name is Brandon. He was proactive, kind-hearted and did his due diligence to ensure people who visit their golf course leave full and satisfied. Thanks much again Brandon. You’re the best and you put Furry Creek Golf course restaurant as top of my list.

Always a good experience after driving from the City.
The Course is pretty difficult n the mgmt is doing their best to keep it in shape. This is a golfer's challenge n the Pub offer excellent post golf service n goodies.

Great setting and staff for celebration. Wonderful planning, scenic views make the event unforgettable. Shout out to Brad who has a great personality to "work the crowd. " Thanks for the lift Brad.

Amazing views, beautiful course, friendly staff.

The course itself is punishing, and throw in soft conditions and it can be a real grind.

Best to focus on the views, take a lot of pictures and bring a lot of cheap balls.

We have only positive experience with Alexa, who is an excellent event coordinator. She proved to be a very dedicated and passionate professional. If you are looking to have your wedding at the Furry Creek Golf Club, look no further. Best surroundings, amazing landscapes, friendly stuff and knowledgeable Alexa is there for you. Trust me on that.

Traffic was backed up after hiking Deeks and we were hungry and dry so we opted to quench at Furry Creek Restaurant to save a drive and do so something new. The restaurant looks wonky with tables VERY widely spaced, empty feeling. BUT, patio tables have umbrella s and look great! The menu is small but wow, so good! We had Salmon sandwich/ burger and, while no draft, beers are tall cans, less than actual draft anywhere in Squamish, good choices & same qty of suds? Fries side was yummy and BIG, rings were also nice. What a nice find.one quirk though, closes at 5: 00pm, inline with last tee time. Try it out, well worth it!

We hosted our wedding at this venue and it was stunning! Alexa Isaac, Brad Skerrett and the team at Furry Creek were a pleasure to work with. They were very accommodating as we had to reschedule our wedding a year later due to covid. There were many compliments from our guest about the beautiful venue and delicious food. Super Scenic and a test of target golf. A 78 felt like a 68 lol. Go for the scenery.stay for the golf.

Beautiful course, very well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised to not be paired with another couple. The golf cart rentals came with a touch screen interactive map of the 18-hole course.
It is an extremely challenging course, not for beginners. Would be a beautiful location for weddings as the views are breathtaking.

We had some difficulties with the responsiveness of the pro shop regarding tee time confirmations however we did find out they are extremely understaffed due to pandemic related restrictions.

Thank you to Furry Creek for making our dreams come true with our wedding this past weekend. Myself and Brendan got married on Saturday September 26,2020. We originally planned for June 6,2020 but we decided to postpone it to the latest date possible for this year due to the pandemic.

Brad was absolutely amazing with answering and addressing all the concerns we had with all the new restrictions. He also was prompt to respond of any questions we had and really put us at ease during all this time of uncertainty.

The venue has big locker rooms with natural light which is great for getting ready in. They also provided us with lunch while we got ready which was great.

The venue’s photo location is their biggest selling point- there’s several beach areas, rock cliffs, tunnels and bridges which are great for photos. The views will not disappoint!

We wanted to have our ceremony at the waterfall site but because of the rain, we would not be able to have a speaker outside and the waterfall was very loud. We ended up having it in the Howe Sound room which was bright and over looked Howe sound. It was perfect.

The cocktail hour was in the sea to sky restaurant which is beautiful with its gold light fixtures and large patio windows.

The pacific ballroom has been renovated with beautiful pot lights and needs little to no decorations. Thank you to Kalinda for all your help with setting up the reception area and making sure everyone was well taken care for food and drinks. The food was absolutely amazing- we did Indian fusion (lamb korma, daal, rice, bread) as well as western food (potatoes, seasonal veggies and prime rib). They didn’t say no to any of our decisions on food. We ended the night with a POUTINE BAR which was a huge hit.

The staff were so accommodating and took extra precautions to make sure everyone was safe and social distancing through out the night. We can’t thank you all enough for everything you did and will share all the photography and videos as they come. THANK YOU

Furry Creek Golf & Country Club looks amazing after the renovations. I got married on Sept 19,2020 and their team was an absolute delight to work with. Brad, Kalinda, Alexa, and the rest of the wedding-prep team are thorough, considerate, efficient and will go above-and-beyond for you and your guests. They have the experience and passion to pull off a magnificent wedding celebration. My new wife and I could not be happier with how the day went. The team will take care of you and your guests very well. The buffet menu was great, tasted wonderful, and presented beautifully while maintaining strict COVID protocols. The facility is surrounded by beautiful nature. You will have plenty of great photo opportunities along the golf course. We would highly recommend planning a wedding here, especially if you enjoy hiking and the outdoors like us. A+.

Came to BC for a golf trip from Ontario and left convinced this was the most spectacular course we had ever played on. The views were truly breathtaking. Will certainly be back again

A well kept and hilly layout course. Golf cart with tinted windows and very comfy seat. Staff were nice. Go try before it closed for the season.

Very beautiful golf course! Also a few scenes in Happy Gilmore was filmed here! Its a must do golf course.

Hard to imagine a more scenic golf course in the world. Fabulous condition. Hardly any weak holes on the course. Staff were superb especially the lady starter. Only let down was not seeing a bear bar from on the GPS screen.

They are under construction which has an impact on your dining experience but the food was good and the staff was very friendly.
