I stopped by this morning to see if they could fix my prescription sunglasses which I sat on. They honestly looked beyond repair. I met Tanya who was incredibly helpful. She could not promise that she could fix them but she’d try. Her service was impeccable, not only did she fix them, she made sure they fit better. I was incredibly touched by her kindness! My sunglasses were bent and uncomfortable so I went in to get them fixed, didn’t even buy the sunglasses from here, and Tanya was so helpful she bent my sunglasses back free of charge and now they fit perfectly! Amazing staff at this location, thanks so much!

FYI Skaha rocks! Had an appointment today to pick out and purchase new glasses. Tanya helped me and she was fabulous, not only did she know what glasses suited me she gave me a stellar deal for my prescription glasses as well as sunglasses.

Love the people at FYidoctors Penticton Skaha Lake. They are very helpful, taking time to explain everything, from the eye exam all the way through to the types of lenses to get. Dr. Edworthy is very kind and never rushes. In fact she squeezes us in when needed.

The staff at FYI took such great care of my daughter and I from when we walked in the door until we left. They made her feel so beautiful when helping her choose her glasses and put the biggest smile on her face. Highly recommend this company. They should be very proud of their service.

I had a horrible experience with a unprofessional female staff member. I had Never been to the skaha location and the parking lot confused me! Fair enough my bad. This brunette lady spoke to with extreme arrogance from the moment she approached my vehicle. When I asked her where I should park then she put her hand on her hip and snapped the park over there it had free parking! And it was obvious she dealt with other parking in the drive thru spot. She stared at me and made me feel very uncomfortable being so aggressive. I said Jesus Christ and she responds I didn’t build the parking lot! I then asked her why she was being so aggressive, and she said because I said Jesus Christ. Not at her or anything? I could’ve said a lot worse! I feel sorry for her coworkers because she has no problem being rude to strangers let alone patients! Power tripping is Super unprofessional and might aswell call it bullying people with your “authority”

Who knew going to the Eye Dr could be so fun?
10/10 would recommend. Each person I encountered was fantastic.

While on vacation in Penticton I had a very sore eye and they managed to squeeze me in same day btwn appointments. Dr. Laycock did a thorough exm and diagnosed I have a significant eye infection and some scarring in my other eye from my contacts. He recommended I immediately make appointment to see eye doctor when home and in meantime prescribed drops. He called the next day to follow up on how the eye was feeling. I have never had this type of attentive service from a Doctor.

The staff are kind, professional and efficient. On numerous occasions, we have seen Dr Laycock for both routine eye health check ups along with a couple of urgent concerns. He’s thorough and patient, ensuring the client understands what is occurring at each step. The staff in the front have been amazing at helping us find the right products that suit our diverse needs and sense of style. I highly recommend FYidoctors for all your vision needs.

I don't trust anyone else in Penticton! Dr. Edworthy is excellent at what she does- she caught a problem with my vision that two other Optometrists missed. Plus she is friendly and put me at ease. Thanks again! -Don H.

A screw came loose on my frames this morning and the lens fell out. I took the glasses to FYI Skaha and they immediately put a new screw in and tightened the other one. I was in and out in minutes, happy to see again and put my spare glasses away! Thank you for the great service!

My mother deals with this practice. She’s having problems with her vision. It seems to me she takes whatever appointment she can get whether it is convenient for her or not because she is worried she won’t be able to get another appointment in a timely fashion.

Caring staff that work together as a good team. Very relieved after seeing Dr. Laycock who provided top notch care and very thorough information.

Extremely disappointed in this company. Bought new glasses at high price,
When I picked them up, was asked to read a card, told them all of it was blurred to some extent. Was told to try them for two weeks to get used to them, after two weeks went back, still blurry I told them. They booked me in for appt two-three weeks later, for a re-exam. They wanted to charge again for another exam and I said no as this was a re-exam for wrong prescription.
When they would not re-exam me without paying for it I told them I wanted my money back. Which they refunded.
These people are wrong for trying to charge me a second time.
Very disappointed.

Had a serious eye condition and called at 0845 hr for an appointment, they took info but didn't return the call to schedule an appointment until 2pm that day. By then i had already scheduled an appointment with another optometrist, driven there (45 km away), was seen and returned home before 2pm. Sad customer service

Excellent doctor and staff. Nice selection of frames at reasonable prices. The only downside is parking and as long as you know the overflow is across the road at the park you are good. Highly recommended them.

Referred here by my doctor after workplace injury. They were able to quickly get me an appointment and even scheduled a follow up appointment to make sure everything healed properly.

Great first impression! Everyone was informative, friendly, and accommodating. No pressure to sell me everything but left knowing all my options.
