I was treated very well at FYI on Mary Street by the excellent staff and Dr. Cullen. The office is inviting and the whole experience of finding my first pair of prescription glasses was very professional and fun.

A lovely experience all the way through my appointment and wonderful help choosing frames. Thank you!

Everyone at FYI is cheerful and courteous. I was welcomed and even given a piece of Chocolate!

Both Dr Abby and staff were quick and efficient. My glasses came in record time and my experience was top-notch!

Great service, fast and reasonable prices. Our family goes here to have our annual eye check-up. Also good with kids!

Would recommend the optometrists but sadly would not recommend purchasing eyeglasses from FYI. Their prices are overly expensive and I have found their after service to be quite poor. Paid around $1300 and around a year later they are falling apart. I only ever wear them at home. A leg fell off and they put on a new one which did not match and has since fallen apart again.

Staff (Shelby especially) are kind, personable and helpful. Dr. Abigail Asirvatham is thorough, highly knowledgable and person-centered. I feel listened to and that the time is taken to answer any questions that I have. For the last 20+ years I've received 10/10 quality service. I highly recommend working with this team!

I always like to support local brick and mortar. My last pair of glasses lasted eight years, and the seller would replace the nose pads on the regular and charge me nothing.
First thing that goes wrong with my new, brand name, over 500 dollar glasses - its a couple months out of warranty so it would have to come out of pocket, and the repair is as much as a new pair of glasses online. I know they don't make the warranty, the manufacturer does, but I bought local and paid more because I expected service and support.
I also mentioned I was on a budget when I bought the pair, but they neglected to tell me they have prices comparable to online in a few styles until today when my expensive pair had an issue. The cheapest pair they showed me was over 300 back at time of purchase. That's shifty.
Service is dead. Buy online.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND ANYWHERE ELSE AFTWR MY EXPERIENCE TODAY! I called into the the Sardis location as I had lost my glasses and absolutely needed something as I was leaving for alberta in a few hours and cannot be without my glasses!
WELL THEY GRABBED MY INFO AND GOT EVERYTHING SORTES OUT! I had a new pair of glasses IN UNDER half an hour! Such AMAZING AND FRIENDLY STAFF! 10000% reccomend this eye doctors

Had an appointment on June 24 2022 and it was an amazing experience. Receptionists and optometrists were friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I recommend, and will be going back!

The level of pain caused by the frames that I purchased elsewhere in the community has been reduced. Thanks to the willingness to help, the talent and the time the pain I was experiencing from the new glasses purchased elsewhere was reduced. I know where I will be going to purchased my next pair of glasses.

This FYI is the worst. Never open past 5: 00 so absolutely impossible to get in if you work long hours. No staff. And you have to make an appointment to just pick out a pair of frames. Have got off work early on a Saturday, to only find out they are closed for inventory. If customers were import to you, would you not do your inventory in the evening. Would not recommend them to anyone.

Happy counter-service very welcoming the doctor was top-notch answered my concerned questions very intelligently. He made double sure on every procedure s I like that. The young lady Megan that took care of me purchasing and choosing my glasses was over the top. Set me at ease answered every question happily made sure I knew all my options. We have been going to FYI Doctors for my daughter’s glasses for many years. Staff have always been attentive to her needs and willing to readjust them as necessary as she grew. Recently I purchased my first pair of progressives and I really love them.

Our family of 5 had an excellent experience at FYidoctors Chilliwack recently. Reception accommodated 5 appointments at once and the optometrists and staff were great with our young kids. Shout out to Shelby for being a great personal glasses shopper, making helpful suggestions and getting us through the process quickly and easily.

Service was exceptional. My son forgot his contacts while we were on vacation and Chilliwack FYIdoctors arranged for some replacements.service was quick and efficient.

After my prescription sunglasses were stolen I chose FYI Doctors to help me get a new pair. Frances, Patty, Shelby, and Sara were excellent. Patty and Frances helped book me an eye appointment for the next business day, while Shelby and Sara took the time to help me pick out my new frames and explain different lens options with me. I ended up with a new pair of sunglasses and I couldn't be happier.
Edit: I almost forgot to add that Dr. Cullen was great as well! He made sure my vision needs were met and he explained how my prescription works as well.

Thank you fyi doctors for discovering I had diabetic retinopathy. I had no idea I had it. I am receiving treatment in Abbotsford and it is getting better. I can't thank you enough

I think it's near impossible to get better service at any other eye doctor than FYIdoctors Chilliwack. I've been going here for years and years, and each time I come back is better than the last. They clearly explain every step they perform, the doctors are always helpful through each step and offering their advice on different products, and the floor staff is more than willing to help with a big smile (even behind a mask!) when choosing your favourite pair of glasses.
I can't recommend them enough.

Story. My husband who is 84 years fell on July 31at at our Culus cottage and needed stitches in his ear brow and forearm. Also, he damaged the frames a d broke a lens of his glasses

Thanks to Tom, who is very skilled and considerate, he agreed to repair my husband's glasses Aug. 2nd so that we could continue our holiday and we arranged to have his glasses replaced when we returned home in Victoria.
We would like to extend highest recommendation to Tom and the Staff at FYI doctors, Mary's St. Chilliwack. You are terrific professionals.

I’ve had contacts for 1.5 years and spent the first year struggling with them slipping. Recently, I was refit with contacts from FYI and they were patient and kind with me as I trialed multiple sets of contacts to find the right ones! I also bought some glasses from them and even though I hate wearing glasses and picking ones that fit me Lily from FYI helped me pick a pair that I actually love and don’t mind wearing! If you’re going to FYI I would seriously recommend going because you’ll be helped by some lovely ladies!

I have been enjoying my visits with all of the staff at FYI Doctors for years but especially with Ann and Patty for my contact lens fittings. Superb service always plus lots of fun and laughter. My favourite place to visit hands down!

Have dealt for yrs with this business and location. They were quick and efficient in picking new glasses the other day when I was on a time constraint. Always willing to go above and beyond!

After receiving attitude from receptionist i decided to use IRIS who was pleasant to deal with and charge nothing for my daughter initial exam, while FYI charges $80. FYI could be amazing here but I'll never know because I will never consider them again.

I thought my appointment was 30 minutes later than it was and they ended up switching stuff around and got me in promptly! They were amazing!

I walked into the exam, the doctor asked me how old I was, then told me i needed progressive lenses. He did not exam my eyes before this "assessment" and did not even ask me about my vision. He simply said I was getting to that age. Finally put me through the tests, said my eyes were not as bad as he thought but that I would still benefit from progressives. Then he walked me over to someone who told me I should spend 700.00 on lenses. I beat feet outta there, went to 2 other optometrists for their opinion and ended up with a mild prescription for near sighted glasses.these guys should be ashamed.

Dr. Bauer looked extremely uninterested in my problem. He didn't even bother asking any questions or explaining anything regarding my concern. Just a quick prescription exam and even that was not done right. I ordered a pair of glasses based on his prescription. I wasn't happy with my vision using them at all and had to go to another optometrist to do a new eye exam. I ended up with a new prescription for both eyes.
