I had an good experience renting from them! The staff was incredibly friendly and chill, creating the perfect atmosphere. They were knowledgeable, patient, and eager to help me find the right bike. The store had high-quality mountainbikes and equipment, and I appreciated the personalized advice they provided based on my preferences and needs. Overall, a great place with a relaxed vibe and attentive staff – exactly what I look for in a bike store!

We had a poor experience renting bikes from G1. There was a big line that was inefficiently managed and it took over an hour to get our bikes and gear. Handlebars on my daughter's bike came loose and freely rotated on my her second run almost causing her to crash. They ask what brake config you want, then write it on the paperwork, but for my other daughter's bike I had to point out to the tech the brakes were configured in the British style, opposite of what we had requested and was written on the paper in front of him. Great location and the staff were friendly, but overall not impressed.

Great place to rent a bike in Whistler Village. They seemed to have some of the best prices when compared with other stores, but be sure to book online ahead of time as prices if you show up without a reservation are higher.

These guys are amazing. They looked after me for two days of the best downhill MTB in the world. Thank you so much!

It was kind of disappointing to get gear telling them we are beginners and asking for advise then going up the mountain to notice that one ski isn’t adjusted at all. We had no clue how to adjust the ski so we were lucky to meet a friendly stranger who helped us. Due to this fail I would have given less stars but the ticketing service team did a great job on fixing our mistake of accidentally renting the gear for the wrong weekend. They were awesome and very friendly (can’t say the same about their colleagues at the rental store who kept ignoring incoming customers…)
All in all I guess this rental is a good choice for advanced skiers who don’t need any advise or guidance on gear.as a beginner I would opt for another one next time.

Kind and professional staff, but you can get better value 5 minutes walk deep into the village. On top of $80 you pay for a ski set, remember to add $15 for a locker, while other services offer $50-60 per day and free shoe storage.

I went to G1 rentals on Christmas day and they messed up everyday of my transaction. First, they could not find my reservation for gear. Second they gave me woman's size boots that cut circulation off in my foot when I first started boarding. Third, their locker machine did not print a receipt so they could not tell me what locker I rented. Upon. Returning the too small boots the place was very busy and they needed to go to another store to get me boots. This store wasted half of my ski day.

Booked online and price was competitive, included all you needed for a good day on the bike park and very clear paperwork. Due to illness, had to cancel and the guys in the store were really helpful and understanding to sort this out.
