I refused a shipment of a item but they still charged me 20% restocking fee (almost $400) for item that was not opened. Which by the way refusing a shipment is NOT mentioned in the return policy. Now they can resell at no extra cost to them. Thats one way of making money. If they were honest and said ya we are not doing that well these days and we need the money, I would have given it to them.

I knew there was going to be an issue after reading the first paragraph of the return policy.
"We want you to love the product you’ve ordered. And we really want any item you buy from us to arrive in absolutely, perfect condition. But things do happen. So, we’re here to make your return or exchange process as effortless as possible. " When you're trying this hard you know somethigs a miss.

You know as well as I do Dan S.this a disgusting way of doing business but if you can sleep at night knowing you screw people out of money all the power to you. I know I couldn't do it.

I have ordered light fixtures twice. One item came with concealed damage on the light shade. The team at GR was really good to work with while getting this issue resolved. Ended up getting a replacement light shade which shipped pretty quick after discovering the issue. It is hard to tell how good an internet store is until you have a problem. These guys resolved the issue to my satisfaction in a timely manner. I would definitely order from them again. Also, their product selection and prices are the best I could find within Canada.

This company was a delight! From my first initial call to Sara in sales, the communication/response and efficiency was top notch from any department I dealt with. The delivery time was extremely fast and efficient! I highly recommend. I look forward to enjoying my Kartell bubble chairs! Thank you!

We've been buying from Gabriel Ross online for years. Their taste in modern design is impeccable and there's no replacement for being able to pick up the phone and talk to a real person. They've always been great to deal with.
We recently took a trip to Victoria and finally visited the store in person. It's great to be able to see some of those grail pieces by Eames, Wegner and Nelson in person. I got carried away and bought a piece that I couldn't bring back home across the country in our car. I returned to the store a month later and GR shipped it home for us. That's service.

Excellent customer service. Sivash has made the difference for our new place! Everything we have purchased is from Gabriel Ross, Siavash was very great to deal with and actually listened and understood what we wanted!

Outstanding customer service. They were an amazing bridge between us and Herman Miller when one of our Eames chairs needed repair. We would have been lost without them!

WORT Service Ever.

Ordered 2 Herman Millar Crosshatch chairs online in a Taupe coloured wood. I saw the chairs in the store and the salesman did not have the wood samples. He told be to order online and use the colours in the online palette.

After waiting for 6 months to receive the chairs they arrived and the wood is green coloured. Contacted the store right away. The person I initially spoke did not seem to care. Just email photos I was told. I called back many times and sent photos via e-mail twice.

Yesterday I called to speak to a manager and I was denied. I was told the manager would check that afternoon and someone would get back to me right away. Still no response.

It's been almost 3 weeks and I have not had this issue resolved.

This is a high end furniture store with extremely poor service. From my experience I would suggest you take your business elsewhere that will provide some customer service.

UPDATE: Its been well over a year and I still do not have the correct chairs and the manager does not return my calls.

A particular sofa that I have been after for close to a year has been sold out and unavailable in my home country of Australia. I emailed Gabriel Ross with the intention of paying an international shipping fee to get the sofa to Brisbane, AU. GR informed me that they do not offer this shipping method, but the lovely Coralea went to the trouble of putting me in touch with the Australian distributor of the sofa brand, who have now ordered one for me. With no benefit to the Gabriel Ross business, Coralea went out of her way to look in to this for me when she didn't have to, and ultimately helped me to find what I was after. Gabriel Ross is a business with the highest of integrity and care for their customers (even though I purchased nothing from them!) My sincere thanks to you Coralea and Gabriel Ross. Paul

They sell high quality high end furniture and appliances. We got some amazing coffee cups and other random things. Takes awhile for shipping, but that’s to be expected when you order something from Italy hand crafted.

Trish helped me a lot in the purchase of my Herman Miller chairs as well as my brother in law's. As well, I need to ensure that people know that Dan helped me aftersales and has been courteous. Both. All in all, I am looking to purchase more in the future, so you two better not go anywhere.

I live in Toronto and I love the product line GR carries. I have ordered quite a few pieces from them, everything arrived rather quickly but what has impressed me the most is the professional help and advice of their design/sales team. I really appreciate their input as they listened to what i was looking for and helped me choose the right product for my space.online shopping for furniture can be tricky when you can’t see the product in front of you, so i really enjoyed having someone who is a professional brainstorm with me and help me pick the right product.

Worst Customer Service. Ordered my chair 15 days ago only to be notified, will need to wait indefinitely due to they can not figure out details with their shipping partners. Talked to one of the owners, vague and entitled responses. Save your money, order directly from Herman Miller to get good customer service at the time of purchase and for next 12 years.

I bought all our outdoor furniture from here, I wanted something that would last a long time and fit with the mid-century style of our home, and that we could leave outside year-round with little maintenance. I was feeling nervous about making the purchase because I wanted to be sure it would work and that I would love everything in our space. I spoke with a designer at the shop and I emailed her pictures of our space; she was very generous with her time and offered some helpful advice and gave me confidence in our final selections. When everything arrived I loved it all.

We bought Dodeka couch and chairs, some Loll tall lounge chairs, and a few side tables/stools. They are all so comfortable, I particularly love the Loll chairs. After it rains we just wipe off all the cushions and they are completely dry in a few minutes. The plastic and metal wipe down easily, they feel strong and sturdy, and I think we will have this furniture for life (just replacing the cushions eventually).

I think the shop does a great job of selecting beautiful, high quality products, so I think I could order anything from here and love it.

GR's front line & Dan was great in answering my inquiries. My Aeron was missing the outside serial sticker, and GR was able to pick up the chair from my home, assess the chair, locate the secondary serial sticker located inside, process the warranty with Herman Miller and had it repaired within 2 weeks. Fast, efficient, and friendly service all the way. Dan didn't drop the ball in communications at any point, which was amazing.

Thanks for the great experience at GR. Looking forward to my next purchase there!

Although my order was delayed, I was kept up to date on a regular basis and eventually the order arrived before I expected it! And when the item went on sale after I ordered it, the discount was immediately and courteously applied to my order.

Sweet old factory wearhouse showroom. A fun place to go relax and feel lux.
They also have a commercial office furniture division! I bought the most beautiful custom office chair of my life from them. My back is very happy happy.
