Gabriola Sands Provincial Park

Beautiful spot to watch the sunset or take the dog for a walk. Still 25 degrees in October. Sunset was intense

Awesome, quiet (when we were there, at least) beach with white sand, oyster and clam shells, and gorgeous water. This is a highlight of our visit so far!

Dogs need to be on-leash.

Beautiful island with lots of beaches and tide pools to explore. Descanso Park is a nice campground with quick access to the ferry back to Nanaimo.
Strongly recommend.

I love Gabriola Island. Been coming here since I was a kid. Shame that money ultimately destroys the places we live and love.

Absolutely stunning just a last minute day trip not realizing the beauty & ocean life we would see. It was so naturly beautiful & most importantly untouched.

Shhhhh keep it quiet.this is possibly the best beach sand and swimming in the Nanaimo area

Beautiful beach but not easy to get to and minimal parking. A very steep hill and longer walk to get there.

Loved it, farmers market was a vibe, silverbay Marina worthit, the gallery has a very good collection. Brickyard Beach and drumbell provincial park for the views. Lastly, Malaspina galleries are the highlights! Good day, trip

Great place. One beach on either side. Great place for swimming. Awsome views. Beautiful sandy beach. Who needs Hawaii.
