Nice layout, fairways in nice shape. Majority of greens are sparse and have little to no root system. Perhaps they are looking for fast greens, which was definitely the case. Unfortunately that really effected the pace of play, waiting on almost every hole, 4: 50 was too long.

The most perfect venue for our big day. Gallagher's and all of the staff were absolutely incredible throughout the entire wedding planning process, and on the day of. The team was always prompt and very responsive with so much insight and guidance - we are so grateful! The space and views are stunning and intimate, perfect for our wedding day and celebration. The food was out of this world, we had constant compliments that this was the best wedding food anyone has ever had! We would highly recommend to anyone looking to get married in the Okanagan.

Nice layout, plays well. Difficult greens you would need to play a few times to figure out a bit. But not for 160.00. Pricey golf and we won't be figuring out the greens at that rate.

Overpriced and greens are in terrible shape. They cut them very short and hard to repair ball marks so the greens are littered with pock marks. Far from a $170 course!

Gallagher’s is the place to get married! The venue for the ceremony is absolutely stunning and the reception hall is perfect for a wedding/event. The staff is wonderful (especially Ruthanne, she’s a pro), food and drinks were wonderful as well.

Have golfed here 2x, course is great and as a new golfer enjoyed it however, had been verbally assaulted on the 9th hole from a member who thought we were not fast enough and were using the wrong clubs for that hole. He went on to say he would have us banned. We were on time and waited upon an elderly 4some ahead of us which I thought golf was about. Going out on a sunny morning to practice a game. This member is a coward and tried to lie and make up things we did so that he could feel like he had the right to accost us in this manner. No one is privileged enough with a membership to behave in such an unsavory manner. He wanted us to teach our son and we will use his bad behavior as a way of how not to behave. This is an embarrassing moment for the course and towards membership. I will stay at Predator Ridge because they have class and are clearly a step above. How your members treat others directly reflects the values that a course chooses to uphold. I expect not to be verbally assaulted. I have the right to play golf in a respectful and peaceable manner. I expect to enjoy my surroundings and a beautiful game. I will only patronage courses who uphold these values and the rest can have their membership. If that's the conduct they bring they can have it.

As a member at a fellow GolfBC facility it pains me to have to write this.

On Wednesday I brought someone to the course from Alberta. After 9 holes we were 25 min behind pace. On 10 my friend was starting to feel ill as he was not used to the heat. We played 11 and he was visibility worse. I told him it was best we ended there and got a raincheque for the back 9.

We proceeded back to the parking lot where he sat in the truck blasting the AC and I went to chat with the clubhouse about a raincheque.

The lady working the desk seemed baffled that we only played 11 holes as it was 1130, we tee'd off at 833. I advised her that her new Carts were equipped with GPS and would indicate as to the 25 minute delay. Which was not dealt with by the on course Marshall. She took my phone number down and said she would have someone contact me.

I was later text by a member of the clubhouse team
" Unfortunately we do not offer rain checks for nine holes based on temperature. It’s a beautiful day out there and we have a full golf course. I trust you understand. "

I'm not sure how the information was unclear as I did not enter the clubhouse asking for a raincheque based on temperature. It was based on the physical state of my golf partner.

I work in the industry and have spoken to other golf professionals and they are in agreement that this is pretty sad.

I have since cancelled an upcoming tee time at gallaghers canyon. We will no longer be supporting the club!

It's a shame. It's a great track otherwise.

Course conditions are terrible. Very overpriced, many other courses in the area that are in better condition and better priced

My girlfriends and I played the 18 hole over the weekend and we had such a great experience - every staff member that we ran into (pro shop, marshalls, snack shack) were so welcoming and nice! Conditions were also great and I will definitely be coming back!

Amazing wedding venue! Ruthanne was so fantastic leading up to the wedding, during the rehearsal and on the wedding day. She really made things so simple, and is such a pro. In only a few emails and a meeting, all the details were settled! She's so personable which makes thing feel so relaxed.
For the ceremony rehearsal and wedding day Barrie and Sue were the shuttle cart drivers. They may be the nicest (and funniest) people you'll ever meet and were so genuine in every interaction with the wedding party and guests.
During the reception, Jack and the banquet team were on top of every detail, keeping things running smoothly. Jack is pro and was always one step ahead!
And of course, Lauren and the girls at the bar were so great letting us hang around in the restaurant while we waited.

The venue itself is perfect for weddings and events. You need very few decorations to bring it all together. The sweeping golf course view are magical, for golfers and non-golfers.

The ceremony site also needed very little decor, if anything at all!

And of course, the food was delicious! The carvery buffet was such a hit, the guests raved about it!

Would totally recommend this wedding venue to everyone.

The course was nice and the layouts were decent. The rough definitely needed trimming as we lost so many balls that could've been found. Also, better signage out there would help to show where you need to go for the next hole. For example, where it splits off with more than one paths. The manager of the course needs to drive the course and get in the eyes of someone that is new to the course and see. If you work here daily and drive these paths, you already know where you're going. I find this happens a lot at many golf courses as lacking in having more signs. It isn't that difficult to make a few more signs and have them placed at proper areas on the course.

Lady who claims to work in the pro shop, approached us on the 4th hole, as we drove past the car sign even though we didn’t know it was there she was beyond rude, this will be my last time playing here, absolutely a waste of money
