Incredible work by great people!

I’ve had surf bags fixed here, all my work pants hemmed, dress zippers repaired and patched up many ripped jeans that come back looking better than new, all at a very fair price point!
They have always been timely and very reliable.

I cannot say enough about Gar Fong. We took our curtains in to get tailored and they had them back to us within two hours. I recommend them to everyone.

Simply the best! I took a leather vest in to have the leather buttons sewn on tighter (I was afraid of losing them) and they sewed them on the same day. Their pricing is wonderful and they are lovely people. I gave them a little extra for doing the job so quickly for me and she jumped up and gave me a big hug…. Made my day.

They did a wonderful job! I had ordered a custom corset vest from an overseas company for my wedding, and it arrived very late and ill fitting. Gar Fong Tailors did an incredible job tailoring it to fit, and FAST! Literally saved my wedding. Highly recommend!

Great place for alterations. I have been going here for years. They are super friendly, the service is fast and it is very inexpensive. The only challenge is making sure you remember which days they are open. Great to have this place so close to home.

I went in with cosplay, so super non-standard requests, and she blew it out of the park! Did exactly what I was looking for and she did it quickly to boot! I know she does everything from uniform patches, to hemming, to alterations, but after seeing how well she performed a complicated job, I would easily recommend Gar Fong for any tailoring.

It's a "Close-knit" Shop. If you've been there, you know the Gar Fong Tight Quarters. I think it's great.up close and personal. You get a fair price (after a brief chat between management and labour). You get an accurate pick-up day/time. Personal note: You're in the wrong shop if you want to Haggle.

Good tailor and they are incredibly cheap. There's ample parking of the road. The shop is in a single room in a basement with a very low ceiling so it can get awkward with a lot of people in there.

I've been going here for over 8 yrs now and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I highly recommend them. Such friendly service, fast, and they do a fantastic job for a very reasonable price.

We would highly recommend Gar Fong for any kind of alterations. We needed the cuffs of my husband's favourite Canuck's jacket tightened with perhaps some elastic, and when I called and asked about it I was quoted $12.00 on the phone by a lovely sounding fellow named Jim.

Turns out they did an even better job than we could have ever imagined with the alteration (it was much more detailed) and best of all it was only $8.00. Very reasonable prices and we will definitely use their services again whenever we need any alterations done.

Thanks for a great job. The jacket looks and fits great, and will be worn at many winning Canucks hockey games this season!

I just got back a dress I love but is too tight around my chest and to my utter surprise I can now wear it comfortably and it looks just the same. Amazing! Thank you Gar!

I needed to have a pair of wide cut pants fitted more closely to the leg. Because the seamstress spoke very limited English, it was extremely difficult to communicate with her. I showed her pictures of the kind of fit I was looking for, and still the pants came out looking very odd. I wouldn't come here with complex tailoring jobs.

Great service and cheap. Cash only! Hard to find. It is on the corner in a white house in something that seems like a basement suite. Asian man and women that run it are very friendly and helpful. Not a lot of parking around the area.

Wonderful place to get garments altered. They seriously know their stuff, and you will always leave satisfied!

I dropped two coats off yesterday at Gar Fong. The couple was very polite and easy to work with. They fixed my two coats extremely fast for a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, affordable pricing. The only drawback is that I wish they understand the function and style of breaks. I asked for a no-break on my dress pant and half-break on my jeans, but she didn't know what that is. I also noticed chalk marks and loose threads when I got them back. Having said that, I will still go back. She is a very nice lady.
