The guy at the front is not very friendly but the service has been decent enough that I come back regularly.

However today, after my threading service, he charged me $15 for threading when it read $12 on the website. He said it was because it’s the new year there are now new prices. I told him the price on the website is still $12 and I would appreciate it if it was honoured. He told me they still needed to update the website but if I had “Booked Online” then I would’ve seen it’s now actually $15 + tax. I said, “But if your website is showing people it’s $12 why wouldn’t you honour that? ”. He then smirked and said “It’s really not even that much more. ” Sorry but that is an incredibly tone-deaf thing to tell a customer during these times, and especially when it’s the business’ own legal responsibility to keep the products/services they advertise up-to-date and honoured. I just said ok and paid up.

I am home now and am now checking the “Book Online” feature on the website. Facial threading/waxing isn’t even shown on the list of services. His behavior was not only rude and ignorant, but deceitful. I also watched him ignore a lady that came in and asked how long the wait time would be and she left shortly after.

I’ve been coming for years and their Services are hit and miss; the girls are generally very friendly and do a decent job depending on the service. I’d like to continue coming back, but some of the customer service needs to be assessed and improved. Was extremely displeased with the interactions today.

Been going for years to get eye brows threaded and waxing. Friendly staff and quick service. My favourite is splurging on their luxurious facials!

You immediately feel valued upon entering Geeta’s Beauty Salon on Cook Road in Richmond. AJ’s warm greeting welcomes you into the clean and comfortable surroundings. I have had several facials from Raman and each time I marvel at her talent. Raman enjoys what she is doing and spends extra time and care doing her best for each customer.

I’m so glad I discovered Geeta’s. In addition to wonderful facials, I have had pedicures, leg waxing, and facial threading with complete satisfaction. Geeta’s is a hidden gem.

The salon is always super clean and welcoming, and she always strives to keep her customers happy and well taken care of. Great customer service and prices that are affordable. Quick service. I have always had a quality experience here too. You might have to wait for 5 or 10 minutes but that is normal at any establishment.

This place is the definition of 'get what you pay for'. Was cheap and quick but no customer service and ended up with a cut eyebrow. Place was dated and not the cleanest. Fine if you are in a rush but would not good back if I don't have too. Definitely worth paying extra for my other place that provides a full service for a little extra price.

I have been here 3 times to have my legs waxed and have been very impressed with the service I have received from Debbie. Debbie is very pleasant, gentle and efficient.

Staff handling the phone line needs to be trained in courtesy & customer service. I couldn’t get through the number to cancel (*before* the appointment). Tried to explain but the arrogance and condescending attitude of of the caller from their Richmond salon has put me off completely!

Wonderful service! I went to Geeta’s for a lash lift and my lashes didn’t turn out how I was expecting. When I got home afterwards I called and told Geeta that I wasn’t totally happy with how my lashes looked (I wanted more curl). Geeta was so kind and accommodating. She explained to me why they didn’t have the curl I wanted and said she would do the lift again at no charge. I had my second appointment today and they look amazing this time! I will definitely go back:)

I have been a client at Geeta's Beauty Salon and Spa for many years and have always experienced excellent service. The staff are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I especially like that Geeta tests all the products before she she carries them in her salon, and that she cares about her staff and clients health as well as in beauty. This place is a rare gem and I highly recommend it.

I went here for the first time on Saturday for a body wax. The place was clean and lovely and Geeta was willing to accommodate me last minute as well. The lady who waxed my back and stomach was friendly. However after the wax- my full back broke out and got itchy and red. I’m not sure the quality of wax being used is of high quality of triggering breakouts in some people. I highly recommend them for their friendliness and responsiveness but not the actual waxing service

Raman is an excelente beauty professional. I had my bikini waxing done with very little pain and incredible efficiency. I also had my eyebrows done in 4 minutes, so fast, so painless, so professionally. 100% recommended.

I didn’t make an appointment, I called about ten minutes before I arrived to see if they could squeeze me in as a walk in client. This is my first time at Geeta’s. She use to do my brows years ago at another Richmond salon. Life got in the way and I just never found the time to visit her salon when she ventured out on her own.

The man who picked up my call was very pleasant. I had explained to him if he couldn’t fit me in, I’d me more than happy to make an appointment for another day. He told me it wasn’t a problem and to come on down.

I was pleasantly welcomed by a clean salon. Warm staff. Raman worked on my brows. She’s quick and knew exactly what I wanted. Price point was also a plus.

It definitely was an all around great experience. Loved it and will definitely be heading back!

I have been going to Geetas for the last 13 years. She does all my beauty services. I would reccomend anyone and everyone to go see her and her team. Raman, Preet I would trust with my child if I had one lol. Simply the best in all things beauty. I see them at least once a week for my brows etc.

I usually go to Geeta’s for body waxing, but this time I decided to try hair colour for the first time there. I met Geeta for a consultation a few days before the appointment. I told her how I wanted a very natural blend of dark chocolate with honey highlights. Today I went to get the hair coloured and Geeta gave me the exact colour and tone that I was looking for, even better than expected. I loved it because not only that the prices are reasonable, but the products that they use are natural and with no toxic ingredients. My scalp did not burn while she was dyeing my hair and I wasn’t breathing the heavy smell of amonia cause there’s no amonia in it. It didn’t take me a long time to get done (like usually in other hair salons) and Geeta and her staff are very genuine people. They won’t shower you with fake smiles and compliments but they will give you true care and kindness through their attentive service. I’m happy that I got to find this place!

I have been going to Geeta's for 5 years now, ever since I moved to Richmond. This is my go-to salon as it is centrally located and convenient. Been going for threading and waxing, and more recently for facials. Their facial services and products are amazing. I got some of their skin care products and I'm seeing great improvement on my skin. The staff is very kind and polite and I can always trust them to take good care of my needs. Thank you Geeta and team!

This place is the best for eyebrows threading. However, last week I went in for a haircut and i have been loving it since then. Geeta took time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered much better than what I expected. She is the best. Will definitely be visiting this place in the future.

I went to Geeta's to get a gel manicure and am extremely disappointed with the results as they ruined my nails. Firstly, the employee used an EXTREMELY coarse nail file to BUFF my nails. My nails are now paper thin and are constantly breaking. Secondly, all my nails were filed to different lengths and shapes. Thirdly, the gel polish is already peeling less than a week later. I cannot stress how damaged my nails are from the "buffing" using a nail file. I will not be back and do not recommend anyone get their nails done here.

Preet is aaaahhmazing. No pain, very clean, no irritation and long over due. Makes me comfortable and confident when I see her. I highly recommend ladies to get your wax done by her

I did eyebrows threading, its only 5$ and i am really satisfied with the service.
Heads up you cannot use credit card unless its over 30$ so bring cash or debit card

I went to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded today and it was very poorly done. I looked worse coming out than when I went into the salon. When the girl told me she was done and to look in the mirror, I still saw lots of loose hairs untouched so I told her to thread some more. After a couple minutes or her cleaning it up, it looked a bit better but still terrible. She was being rushed by her boss because there was another client so I didn't want to ask her to clean it up some more again. But the aftermath looks like my eyebrows were chewed on. The hairs are all uneven like a staircase and 1 eyebrow is much darker than the other because she cut off a chunk.

Great place to get your eyebrows done. The staff is nice and accommodating and the place is always clean and welcoming! Services are very affordable and they even offer a loyalty card!

Been coming here for a long time, even before they moved. Always quick and efficient, in and out. I always go there for brow and lip threading. It's cheap too, since I go there every 2 weeks I don't feel like i'm breaking the bank. Can get a lip/brow/chin threading or waxing for $15 INCLUDING tax and tip. I usually call before I leave (due to COVID they have no inside seating), always accommodating.

First time seeing Davinder for facial threading today and she is absolutely fantastic! She's friendly and does exactly what you ask for. Her style is flawless and I barely felt any pain.

Definitely will be going back to see her again

I've been going to Geeta's for about five years now for threading. It's always efficient and well-done, at a great price. Only thing you have to be wary of is that there's sometimes a wait if you're just dropping in because it's a popular spot! Highly recommend.

I booked my first appointment here and the whole experience was seamless. They have a wonderful staff. Preet (a new pretty girl) did my waxing, manicure and eyebrows. She is so awesome. Her hands are magical, I didnt feel a thing when she threaded my eyebrows. Also, She gave a good shape to my eyebrows (which incidentally were spoiled by another lady at a salon). Debbie did a great job with my pedicure.

I've been going here for years now, I can only say amazing things about this place. Staff is friendly, professionalism is outstanding and the results are even better. My sisters and I love coming here because they're very dependable and Geeta is always finding ways to make her clients happy. When I first started coming here I had uneven eyebrows from the previous place I went to but Geeta managed to fix them. Highly recommend coming here and you won't be disappointed. The picture with the ice cream was my eyebrows before I started going to geeta and the other two photos were the new improved eyebrows geeta gave me!

Geeta and team always give an exceptional service when I ‘m visiting her salon to pamper myself! She, AJ and Debbie are very knowledgeable and had great suggestions with regards to their forte! I give them my full trust with regards to everything! How my facial, waxing, mani and pedi will be done! And Voila! I always feel like a million dollar worth after! Such a nice place everyone in a staff is very good and counter to Calvin wu that guy is doing my eyebrows from last two years he never disappoints me. I know he is fast but he never fails. If some spots left you should tell him to fix. When I started going to him for eyebrows first time I was not happy and I told him to fix then he fixed my eyebrows and he explained me why he left those hair and I realised after when he removed that he was right. So please don’t put these kind of reviews for anyone. Instead of review let them know. Thank you

I only go here for eyebrows and have recommended friends to come too. However, asides from the amazing experiences effort with Geeta and the effort she puts into her work, the male just doesnt meet the standard. Every time he’s helped me, I leave unsatisfied feeling like some spots definitely couldve been fixed (you wonder why when he finishes in 30 seconds).

One of the best services Salon I have come across till now! Geeta is amazing! She is a very nice lady and is a perfectionist in her work! I got my makeup and hairdo done by her on my Christmas party last year! Geeta did it so well and in not much time I was all set to go. I got lot of compliments! I also appreciate the way she took off my necklace and gave me an idea to wear it as a bracelet! She is smart too! Aj on the other hand is amazing at doing manicures and pedicures! I have been going to Geeta's Beauty Salon for 8 years and for all my beauty services. I will continue to do so as my experiences were awesome. I did not encounter any problems with the staff or services. Their prices for their services are extremely reasonable and cannot be matched to other salons. It is clean, convenient and walking distance from Canada line and the bus services.
The staff are dedicated, diligent, courteous, skilled, professional, amicable, cheerful and attentive to details and always make me feel comfortable.
I would highly recommend that you try out their services. Geetha, Debbie and the staff always make me feel great.
If you are unhappy with any of their services, Geeta is more than willing to fix the problem. All one has to do is to be candid and inform Geeta. Keep up the fabulous work!

Contrary to what Hamid said about the Male doing eyebrows, he's actually one of my favorites! The first time he did my eyebrows I was in shock with how well they looked, he even considered my scar without me saying anything. Shout out to the owner who let me come in even though they weren't even officially open. (this was around after 10: 30am ish) Smh on my part I just assumed they were open at 10am everyday. Thanks so much for the lovely and fast service! Been going here for years, went to downtown eyebrows in between and I haven't been as satisfied with my eyebrows as I have been when the peeps at Geeta's do them.

Always a great experience with Geeta. See her for waxing every few weeks, very clean and friendly service. Would definitely recommend.

Still not good at manicures it seems. I should have read through the reviews for manicure experiences specifically. I only get my nails done every 3-4 months as a special treat so today I was excited to get some pampering with my sister.

Here are my main critiques:
1) the technicians vigorously filed our nails before and after polish. I've never had any technician file down the nail surface this much for a gel manicure before (usually its just a little rough-up with a softer file so the polish adheres better). As well, filing after topcoat seems like it would remove the seal and reduce longevity. Guess I'll find out.

2) the technician I had didn't seem familiar with cuticle cutting. If you pull on cuticles or hangnails sideways away from the nails of course you will rip the skin. That's what happened here and I did have some bleeding. She said I must be sensitive but I've been many places where the technicians don't make me bleed and cut my cuticles perfectly.

3) my nail edges are not clean. As my sister said, it looks like I did them myself. I brought it up with the technician but she said it was fine. Seems like that's the usual result here.

Anyways, here are my nails. See for yourself. Nice people, just not a great place for gel manicures.

The people working there are very nice and they have 2 free parking spots (but at a very weird angle and section of the lot).

I paid for a full-manicure w/gel polish and pedicure w/ regular polish. Unfortunately I feel my time and money was wasted (please see reasons listed below) :

-cuticles were worked on but was uneven and sloppy (the ambience lighting did not help).
-shaping of the nail request was not met and uneven.
-very limited selections of polishes.
-there was a lot of abrasive filing when removing previous gel nail polish.
-there was no nail/cutticle hydration care after many abrasive filing and scraping of the nails (but cuticle oil was brushed on at the VERY end of nail polish application).
-heavy usage of nail polish remover.
-the gel nail polish was painted unevenly and was not fully filled in. Some parts of the cuticles that alsowere were leftover were also painted).
-the staffs were patient and pleasant.

Overall, although the people were nice enough, I feel that I paid for a manicure but I didn't actually get a manicure/pedicure.

Further research and development in other competing businesses in this industry is advised, to improve this business.

This place was horrible, Not sure about the female but the man that does eyebrows is horrible. I have a scar on my eyebrows and the guy literally took out all my hair from there and now it wont grow back for months and left my eyebrows bleeding on one of the sides. He took literally 30 seconds to do my eyebrows if that. Haven't had as horrible service as this place encourage people not to go here. Looking over the responses towards the review the owner clearly does not know the meaning of customer service. Think about where you take your business.

Threading is only $5.25 and their service is always quick (minus the long waits during busy hours).

I would recommend asking for geeta to do your brows cause she does them super fast with little to no pain (and always gets my brows looking on fleek). The recent few times I've had them done by other employees and for the most part they also do a good job (but not as great geeta).

I do not recommend their henna/make up though, it's not the best quality. Had henna done from them in the past (pattern/design was alright) and the henna itself cause my arm to irritate and burn. Definitely should had done more research as to what henna they used before I went.my mistake
