Very relaxing place. Public beach, not crowded. A fawn was spotted and ran away. It's mother caught up to it. Many different walnut trees.

I got to admit, I was just in awe when I pulled into the park. And for the life of me, I just can't find the words to describe the beauty of this place, I guess it's just something you will have to experience for yourself. Mr. Galletly truly did pick a beautiful part of the valley. Drive up and around the corner, you will come to the Galletly family plot where you will be rewarded with another spectacular view of the valley. If you do come this way, leave your furry friends at home. There are no dogs allowed on the beach, or in the nut farm and it is clearly marked at every gate. Really they are just looking out for your little buddies, there are so many trees in there. The poor little guy would probably loose his mind trying to decide which tree to pee on or die of dehydration by the time he is half way done marking all the trees. Such nice people to think of you and your friends like that. We should all be blessed.

Don’t bring your dog here. This place is obviously run by a cat lady who hates dogs there’s 27 signs saying no dogs even on the washrooms

Been going here for many years. We visited again today and I love this park. It's such a peaceful park to go walk around.

An interesting free activity for the whole family when in Kelowna. You can walk through the nut farm and learn about the farm's history - they have various points with information boards. It is short-ish walking trail. Dogs not allowed on the trail through the farm. The farm is set practically on the banks of the Okanagan lake. Free parking. In season you can buy nuts. We were there early spring so the trees were still bare and just shooting. Lots of squirrels. Fascinating to see the old farmhouse, barn and other buildings still standing. It was still beautiful even with no leaves on the trees.

Beautiful place where you can explore nature, enjoy the lake and visit a historic nut farm. Great to learn about how settlers in Westbank lived 100 years ago.

Beautiful "little" park with lots of parking. It has a beach, a playground with playground equipment & lovely areas to picnic with tables. There are paths to walk amongst the trees. There were deer walking about in the treed area as it was gorgeous & quiet! There are washrooms but no concessions onsite.

Took wedding photos here. There is a massive tree that makes for perfect ambiance. We go every summer. The shadows of the trees make for amazing lighting for photos. The playground and beach are a favorite with our kids. It has a roped-off swimming area that is at a very gentle incline.perfect for the little ones. It is a rocky beach, so bring water shoes. The water is extraordinarily warm and clean. The bathrooms/change-rooms are always immaculate. We were lucky enough to see deer grazing along the fence-line.

Scenic, historic, and beach access. A triple win for this regional park. Great place to take the family. There is a marked off swimming area, clean washrooms, a small playground, plenty of grassy areas, trees for shade, and a historic walk through of the park with educational signs. Fantastic place to spend a summer afternoon with the family. Important note: no dogs allowed at the water front or history walk tour.

This is a beautifully kept garden/orchard. Parking is limited, so be sure to leave extra time to walk in, or to navigate the parking lot.

It's a lovely short walk amid all sorts of well labeled nut trees. Has benches around to sit a bit. There were birds and lots of squirrels to watch.
Dogs are not allowed because they make it unsanitary to harvest the fallen nuts. It's a place where one can breathe.

A beautiful, shady, and scenic walk through a variety of nut producing trees. You are mostly walking in a canopy of foliage with benches everywhere and the beach right beside you.

What a lovely place to stroll around and experience peacefulness. The history of the farm is fascinating and Jack Gellatly and family’s contributions to the community are absolutely wonderful. Take a stroll by yourself or better yet with loved ones and enjoy this hidden gem. The grounds are level and accessible.

Nice short little walk. Parking was a bit crazy, but we got a spot in under 2 minutes. The lights were beautiful, Westbank has some great Christmas displays. Check out brown road as well!
22 January 2022 6:04
The Christmas lights were, well, underwhelming. I look forward to going for a visit in another season. Maybe there will be more on offer.
