I really like getting my hair done here and shopping for products. My hair stylist is the BEST! The only disadvantage is the lack of parking.

Very expensive but my hair looked great, however, if they recommend doing a style do it, lol I didn't and still paid 70, lol I also only got an inch off but my hair never looked better

A wonderful salon experience - great atmosphere and staff were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The store carries a massive selection of products and brands at very reasonable prices. I traveled from Vancouver to receive an absolutely life-changing hair cut from the brilliant and talented Laura (@curly.hair.revolution) who taught me more about my own curly hair in 2 hours than I've learned in my entire life! 1000/10 would reccomend, if you're looking for curly hair expertise and just an over-all awesome time in the chair, ask for Laura. Thanks to her experience, skill, and patient direction, I truly feel I'm on the path to healthy and beautiful curly hair for the first time in my life. I'll be back again soon!

They have a large staff, so you will find someone who can do your hair in a way that you will like. Bonus: a portion of products and and supplies sold at Gemi is donated to the Victoria SPCA. However they need to invest in a good bicycle parking rack!

It was my first visit to this salon and it was for a roots touch-up. I specifically asked for a senior stylist and was told on a bit of an annoyed tone that all staff there was senior stylist level. I discussed the shade and had a look at the colour palette with the stylist and we didn't quite agree on the shade. I could tell that the shade she selected was darker but in the end I trusted her pick since she was the professional. It was indeed much darker and it was so noticeable. I didn't go back because I didn't want to put my hair through a colour fix and I hoped that with time the colour would fade and that I would be able to hide the 2inch stripe of the dark shade she gave me. That did not happen and I had to spend 5h and $500 two months later to fix that mistake and get rid of the dark stripe. I seriously doubt this salon's definition of a senior stylist because I imagine a colour match should not be such a big challenge for one.

Disappointed to write this as I love to support small business' that are local. However, I went in today to buy some cream for my hair. Quite simply their machine wasn't working when I was tapping my credit card, and yes, my card worked immediately before and after this salon. Anyways, they were very rude telling me that I had no money in my account a few times over, and then continued on saying that I needed to call my credit card company because their machines were fine and secure. It felt very odd to me given not only what they were saying but also the condescending tone they were using in front of other customers they had in the salon (who hilariously couldn't pay after me either lol.) Further, when asked if they were still accepting products that didn't work after a try, they said no because the companies weren't doing that anymore.but Chatters still has this policy in place and it's with the exact same products. The whole experience felt gross and quite frankly dirty to me. I will not be back. The way we treat people matters.but it's even more true when the fault wasn't on my end or my credit card's end.

Alex was amazing, the front desk was super helpful and informative. They listened to all my picky needs attentively. 10/10 best hair place I've been to in Vic yet.

The customer service here is top notch! I saw Alex and he did a wonderful job on my hair. It was long and I really wanted to go shorter and I just love my new look!
