My first experience of the new machines was great. It is a lot more efficient, and cleaner, to feed bottles and cans in any order into the machine, instead of having to sort it all first. Accurate counting and quick payment. Very impressed.
Around the back, still have the other recycling options and a very helpful staff member, keeping it all organised.

The new machine is ridiculously slow, I'd rather just put my cans in the curbside recycling bins then ever go here again. Zero stars.

No longer accepts glass containers which was the main reason why i came here as my building doesn't have glass recycling.

The new kiosk is ridiculously inefficient if you are returning more then one bag of bottles. Staff no longer accept sorted trays and forced to use the self serve kiosk machine. Will be avoiding this location in the future

My go to place for recycling. Drive around back to recycle plastics, electronics and foam. In the back door for AAA type batteries, light bulbs and other small things.
In the front door for bottles and milk jugs. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Sept 11 2022. Dropped off 6 bags of returns in the Express return. Oct 6th.still no credit to my account. This is anything but Express.

Don't follow hours. Went at 430 with a car full of recycling and they had closed early because they were too lazy. Older employee was extremely rude.

Showed up before 5: 30pm to drop off a few items and was very rudely turned away by an older gentleman. Very impolite and grumpy. He implied that we should know that they close at 5pm. Why list your hours as open until 5: 30pm when you say you close at 5pm?

Overall it is good. But one star is deserved as there is an older fellow who says he is the "manager' and he is the rudest employee I have ever met. Actually yelled at my wife because she made a mistake sorting the glass.

Excellent place! Helpful staff. Sort recyclables before you go & remember that metal lids don't go in the glass bins. They go with the rest of the metal cans.

The main option for recycling cans, bottles, and plastics in Kamloops. Visits are usually quick and convenient. You need to sort your beverage containers into provided flats, but once all sorted, the clerks count them quickly and accurately, then provide the corresponding refund amount. There are additional recycling bins at the back of the building for various plastics, small kitchen appliances, and glass jars.

Great staff! Bottles/cans/milk jugs for refund was quick and painless! Recycled light bulbs and plastic over-wrap and glass jars! More space in my basement now!

Yes we were one of those people that came in at 510. They close at 530. The guy wouldn't let us finish sorting our bottles. Nothing but attitude from the staff member. Of I could give 0 stars I would. Might I add this was for a donation.

Some batteries can be recycled here: NOT small batteries like AA, C, D. But they do recycle batteries for cordless drills, cordless vacuums like Ryobi or Makita, etc.

Pleasant and fast. I had my recyclables sorted already. But watch the count I know I'm off by a few cans or bottles now and there but $15.00 worth? I don't think so.
