George Point Inn - Motel in Surrey

Clean, comfy, and budget-friendly. Motel exceeded expectations. Friendly staff, ample parking. Great value for the price.

Clean, well laid out room with a separate bdrm and minimal kitchen amenities. The bed was comfy but the insulation very poor. We were very tired & wanted to sleep but could hear a young family with cranky kids on the other side of the wall. The stove elements didn't heat up too high, ended up using the microwave for hot water.
The shower head needs to be replaced too. We had to get the remote batteries replaced and that was done quickly & efficiently.

Very kind. Got me in a great room quickly.

Well priced good location. 50 meters away from the bus stop, rooms were big, clean and bed was comfortable

This was the best motel I've ever stayed at. It was clean, the rooms were comfy/spacious, it had all the amenities I needed & then some. The front receptionists were also very nice.

I will definitely return on my next visit to Canada.

Clean and spacious room. Toilet and bath looks new. AC was cold. Plates, cups and cutleries are provided but no electric kettle. I used the microwave for hot water to make my coffee.

I was staying for two days and the service was terrible it said it could fit kids but there was no room for them also no mini fridge or any other accommodations it was horrible and it was underneath stairs which sucked
But the rooms were clean

Very nice accommodation. The young woman Ruby who looked after us was amazing. She was courteous and very helpful and knowledgeable. The best person we dealt with on our recent trip whereas accommodations were concerned. She let us know about traffic issues and gave us a map to show how to get around.

Loved that they had washing machine available (30 min wash, 60 min dry)
There is an ice machine on site.

Comfortable room, great air conditioning. Staff is kind. Little out of the way for things but also a few blocks away from a skytrain station is good.

Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room. 30 min to the ferry! We will bookmark to return again.

Newly renovated! Very clean and friendly staff. Central in Surrey. Our room was very quiet, no street noise at all.

Great place with great prices. Rooms are fairly clean (could always use some dusting) and good sized!

Staff unhelpful. Would not allow us an extra blanket. Cleaning of the room was not good. Lots of hair and smelled of old cigarette smoke.

I LOVE the newly renovated George. The family who owns the motel are such lovely people. It’s modern (cute boutique vibe), clean (super important!), close to transit and really affordable. I’ve stayed here multiple times and I’ve always had the best experience.

I found the George to be extremely clean and affordable in the heart of busy Surrey. Great place to stay and only 25 min drive into downtown Vancouver.

Ok in a pinch! The place shows some recent renovations and it was very clean. However, it is located on a busy street right next to Surrey Memorial Hospital and the front rooms are therefore prone to noise.
For your 200+ bucks you get nothing but a room, not even a big room, a clean room, no coffee, no breakfast, just the room. At this price range there are better deals to be had, shop around if you got the time. Or maybe I'm just not used to post pandemic travel and that's the new norm? ! Sure hope not.
