Gibson's Barbershop and School

The girl was very nice. I sat right away, but that’s not why I came for a cut. Asked for a high fade and to just clean up the top. I essentially have a buzz cut no length on top and to make it worse at the end they let you know you need to go for a walk to find an atm to pay a fee to withdraw cash to pay them, honestly I shouldn’t have paid but I figured I’d rather just leave the review to prevent someone else dealing with it.

I brought my child at millstream location and explained how we want his hair done. Did not know the hair cut terminologies but explained it to hairdresser for 5 mins. Not very satisfied result and requested to trim more the edge area but he did it only two simple clipper machine cut moving. It did not improved at all. No passionate work ethic was shown by his response. My child walked away.

This place requested cash only but I saw one customer paid his debit card using a square banking device which provided by another hairdresser. My hairdresser did not have it.
Treating customers differently was upset. Pointed out at sight but no improvement at all.
However, I paid in cash with 18% tip.

Later, my child complained me to bring this location for his worst haircut experience and even he felt dizzy due to turning chair too fast by the hairdresser.

I haven't been to a barber shop in awhile, so I went into Gibson's for a haircut and a shave. I ended up getting an incredibly nice shave and some nice conversation from the barber who met me at the door, Oliver.

I'm going back in on monday to get my hair done, and I see a good haircut in my future based on the result from today. I'd also like to mention that the shave I got was more than reasonably priced. I am very satisfied with my visit, many thanks!

Lovely store and staff, they are always able to fit me in, even day of. I always get compliments about the cuts I get, and do not believe I have walked away disappointed yet.

They are cash only and there is no ATM inside.

Friendly staff and great haircuts for a fraction of the price. I've never been disappointed with any barber I've had.

Haircut was nice, but the female barber cut my neck and didn't even mention anything to me. Also the rash she gave the back of my neck wasn't enjoyable. Bring cash, as they don't have any other options.nor an atm to pull cash out of. You'll have to go to the drug store, to pull out cash.

Great place.staff are so polite and wonderful. My son's stylist really listen to my concerns about my sons hair and she did an amazing job on his hair. The only little down fall was that they only accept cash so I had to go to the nearest atm around the corner.but other then that I would definitely recommend this place.

Best spot to go in Langford, well priced at $25 for a cut. The barber I go to, Elishka is kind and very consistent.

The quality was A1 considering that students thrive to achieve excellence for top grades.

Thank you to the great team at Gibson's. I got my haircut there in late May and then today. I really appreciate the quality of my haircuts at Gibson's. I used to go to slightly lower priced hair salons thinking my hair is simple to cut and about half the time I did not like my haircut. Gibson's Barbershop is a very different experience in many ways. The barbershop is very clean and has a good vibe. The staff are easy going, very nice and very good at what they do. I highly recommend Gibson's barbershop and will recommend them to friends and family.

Best place we've been in a long time. I usually book my boyfriends appointments and this was by far the best place in the area!

Managed to cut my hair without drawing blood. Did not trim eye brows or ear hairs. That may sound silly, but that is what barbers should do automatically, or at least ask.

Got a haircut by Ben today (sorry if i got the name wrong I'm terrible at remembering names). Nice and clean just what I wanted. It was my first time going to a barber shop so I was a little nervous but as soon as I got in the chair I felt welcomed and comfortable. Thank you!

Took my Son late after karate practice they held a spot for us got a great cut with good vibes, doing great guys

Got one of my better cuts. The staff that I had was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable of his craft.

Nice people, welcoming environment, great teamwork. I went there for a free haircut. Daryl was the student who did the haircut. Nice guy. Nick was his teacher who was caoching during the session. The way Nick did the finishing at the end and b/w the session, showed his knowledge, experience and grip on his work. Awesome and well-behaved person. Will give five.and will recommend to others not only for free haircut, also to become regular customers. "

We originally had a very poor and disappointing experience our first time in, but as soon as Sandy (the owner) found out she contacted me and did everything possible to immediately rectify the situation, deal with the issues and invite us to come back for a proper Barber Shop experience. My 4 year old was so excited to get a "cool dude" haircut and Nick delivered this without hesitation. Our experience this time around was infinitely better The staff were warm, welcoming, professional and attentive to their customers and it left me feeling very pleased and satisfied and willing to return.
