We hired Julia initially for our engagement photo shoot and then for the wedding.
She was absolutely perfect. Her communication was on point, and she went above and beyond in every way to make sure everything was set for us. She was also very patient and gracious with us, as we ran quite late to both shoots
She made us feel very comfortable right away, and the photoshoots were fun and easy. Most of our wedding day we didn't even notice she was there, as she was very discreet:) Our family and guests also loved her.
The photos themselves turned out absolutely gorgeous, we couldn't be happier.

We had the one hour session for our daughter’s birthday party. Julia came on time and worked very intensively making tons of pictures. She changed scenarios and was very creative. We got a huge amount of different things and could choose many attractive pictures. We’re completely satisfied with Julia’s work!

When I came across Julia's work I was in instant awe in how she was able to catch such precious and special moments. The way she edits her photos are so flattering and the shots she took were just breathtaking. The joy people had on their wedding days just beamed out of all the photos she took.

Based on the photos and the fact that she was local was why I decided to meet up with her. We went through the packages available and everything was very straight-forward and stress free. She had recently done a wedding at my venue so she was able to answer a lot of questions for me and helped set up my expectations for the day.

The wedding day went like a breeze. Julia was everywhere and pro-active in getting the photos we had discussed. Many of my guests have come back to me and told me how much they enjoyed her presence on that day. The one child at my wedding absolutely adored her. She made things fun for everyone who wanted their photos taken.

Julia is very communicative, responsive and respectful. Her photos are so good and worth every penny and then some. I highly recommend her to EVERYONE. I'm probably going to keep going back to her for family photos - that's how much I have enjoyed my experience with her.

Julia was amazing to work with. I asked Julia to take some candid and then not candid photos of me proposing to my girlfriend in White Rock. Julia was right on board and had so many great ideas and the whole evening went perfect. Julia even went above and beyond and brought champagne, glasses and a blanket for pics after. I am sooooo obsessed with our spring cherry blossom shoot we did last week with Julia! She turned around the photos so quickly and they are absolutely stunning! We had our civil wedding and Julia did an amazing and beautiful job in taking our pictures! She was very creative at directing us, suggesting poses, patient, very good mood and charisma! We loved working with her and would totally hire her again. She gave us extra time even though we just paid for an hour plus we received our edited pictures really fast! We decided to hire Julia for an early maternity announcement shoot. She went beyond our expectations and had her husband help out with various aspects of the shoot, which included helping us with our loving but demanding golden doodle pups, while juggling a handful of sentimental props. Julia and her husband Craig shot our wedding this year, and my wife and I really loved her work. She was incredibly warm when engaging with our guests, and balanced well between staying out of the way of things, while also stepping in to get important shots and catch important moments.

Discussing our needs with her was a very pleasant process, and Julia was very accommodating throughout the whole procedure. We really appreciate her patience with us before the wedding, while we were planning all our details, and after the wedding as we were communicating back and forth with her about the photo album (which arrived promptly, looking fantastic).

Julia, she is really great at her work. She is professional, but not least. She understands the event importance. She provided us with enough time frames even though we had only for an hour session. So far, in my experience, I have to tell other photographers about poses, but here we didn't have to spend a single minute, and we didn't have to work on behalf of the photographer. She took all the stress work from us, and we were like just enjoying the moments.
Very good, professional, understanding person, helpful and adjustable based on requirements.

She is easy to get along and my fiancée and I both ended up having more fun than we thought we would.

We could tell Julia was very experienced. She had a lot of great strategies for getting candid shots.

Many photographers will give you a set amount of photos (20-30), but she gave us almost everything she took.

We're looking forward to having her take our wedding photos and would highly recommend her.

Julia is phenomenal! She is super fun, friendly, and understanding. During our photoshoot, she was able to give us simple, easy directions while still engaging in fun conversation. She’s very easy to work with, and very professional. She brought some props to our photoshoot, which looked so beautiful in the photos. She was very knowledgeable about locations in the area that are good for photos, and eager to find a location that matched our vision (which she did). Her love of the job and working with people is clear in that she would rather get to know the client and have fun while going a bit overtime than rush through the photoshoot to stay within time. We loved the easy, seamless experience with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone. Despite having 10+ years experience (which definitely shows), her prices are still incredibly reasonable (especially given her expertise).

Long story short: if you want a fun, easy experience with a fun, accommodating, and knowledgable professional photographer at more than reasonable prices, then look no further! If I could give her 6 stars, I would.

I started looking for a Photographer on Wedding wire, found Ginger Photography with great reviews and photos that I loved. My husband contacted Julia and she listened to what we wanted and worked to make a package that was exactly what we were looking for. We did an engagement shoot, we both hate photos and joked that we had 3 pictures of us together. Julia took charge and made us comfortable right away. She made suggestions and asked us if there was anything we wanted. Craig was a second shooter and they worked together so well. We had a lot of laughs and received our engagement photos very fast. On our wedding day my husband likes to joke that Julia was the perfect amount of bossy for a photographer. We have hundreds of pictures that I don’t know how she even got, they were never in the way, they were engaging with our guests and were always thinking of a great new photo idea. I cannot day enough about Julia and Craig, they took hundreds and hundreds of amazing photos and were worth every penny!

This was literally two weeks before the wedding and she stepped up and reached out to a number of vendors and filtered the ones that she thought best suited our vision. We ended up going with one of her recommendations and they were so good!
