Staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable. They carry the Acana without peas or legumes which is difficult to find and their pricing is very good.

Love this place. They donate a lot to the community and that’s what makes them so great IMO. And they also have Halloween photo shoots!

Amazing pet store! Dropped by randomly and browsed for a bit. Employees were incredibly nice and even offered my dog an ice cream cone (allergen friendly!), which he LOVED. Couldn’t recommend this place more; will be visiting more for treats/toys in the future!

WE LOVE GLOBAL PET FOODS BURNABY! My pup beelines straight there the second we get close to Hastings, he's obsessed.we visit weekly, at least. Great selection, best service, competitive prices. I have an 80lb pit bull, so we tend to get negative reactions from people all over the place - it makes my heart so happy to see my beautiful boy treated like a prince at Global. He's a big old snuggle bug & they recognized that from day 1, we've been loyal ever since.

This place has the friendly service and a wide variety of pet food (raw, freeze dry, kibbles). They are also part of the north burnaby community and seem to be well involved in supporting local events!

Global Pet Foods on Hastings is my favourite place to purchase my dog and cat food. They have an awesome variety of healthy and affordable pet food. The treats and toys are beyond adorable. Also, they have top-notch customer service, you will always be greeted when you walk in, they all smile and are very helpful. The owner is fantastic, she is there often, and always helps me out when I need it. They also have a very cute in house pet, with a themed habitat, go to the back of the store to say hi

The staff here (including the owner) are nothing short of spectacular! So much valuable advice. I am grateful for them in my neighborhood. My current puppy leaves me puzzled and not sure of how to feed, nurture & deal with this puppies multiples of needs.

Great customer service. I've been here 3 times now and everytime I've been here they have been delightful to talk to and very helpful with any questions I had. I also hear that the owner is also very nice and helpful based on how the staff speak about her.:)

I visited Global Pet Foods to pick up a harness, leash, and crate for my new kitten. The staff was super helpful, informative, and very friendly!

Super friendly staff and lots of cute cat toys. Hand sanitizer provided right at the front door when you come in which is appreciated.

I will never shop here again. On a snowy Sunday afternoon, I took my two miniature dachshunds to Global Pet Foods to purchase them each a winter jacket. When I entered the store, the cashier asked if I need help finding anything. She pointed to where the dog clothes are located (directly in front of the service desk, so she didn't even have to move) and that was it. As I struggled to find the correct size, trying a coat on one pup while the other desperately wanted to explore the store, no one offered me any assistance. The cashier was leaning on the counter reading something and the only other staff member I saw wasn't doing anything, except looking at an animal in a tank on the counter. There was only one other customer in the store at the time. The coats I was interested in were priced between $50-$75, and I was going to buy two. That is not a small sale, but the staff did not seem to care. With sweat dripping down my face, and after trying on four different sized coats, I was so frustrated, angry and disgusted with the blatant lack of customer service, that I left the store. Reading the other reviews, it seems that most people have a very positive experience at this store. For some reason, the staff made a judgement call the minute I walked in and decided that I wasn't worth their effort and that they did not care for me as a customer. An absolutely horrible experience. I will NEVER step foot in this store again.

Great location with nearly every pet food brand you could ask for and at competitive prices. Super friendly and helpful staff. We will certainly make every effort to visit Global as part of our regular routine.

They also sell pet-friendly icecream which can be an excellent treat for your dog on those really hot days.

The staff here are so informative with a vast knowledge of the brands they have and don't have. I've had nothing but positive interaction with the staff!

To start.this store deserves 5 stars for many reasons. They have the best customer service out of any pet stores I've been to. The staff is pleasant and is super knowledgeable with their products. When we came by, we wanted to try other dog foods and Amelia gave great insight on every product that we were interested in (we ended up buying Acana). She also helped us with picking out dental chew treats and our dog loves it. She was also ontop of an item that we wanted to purchase (low stock) and we really appreciated that! The store is full of premium dog foods, treats, and toys to choose from. They definitely have my business and will be a regular customer!

Our dog loves shopping here! So many all natural and healthy dog products. The owner went above and beyond for us and special ordered dog food in.

Great store. Huge selection of everything - including raw dog food, dehydrated raw and even slow cooked! Lots of supplements, treats, and of course toys. I got some great feeding advice for my very picky dog. And I am looking forward to Global Pets Burnaby becoming our go to pet store.

A brand new pet supplies store in Burnaby Heights!

We came by the check it out and we found that they carry a lot of brands that some big box stores don't carry. We bought some pet food and toys for our Rabbits.

The staff were really friendly and we signed up for their free Global Pet Foods membership

What a great addition to the neighborhood. We would recommend our family and friends to come check out this store

These gals are GREAT! They are knowledgeable and go above and beyond to get whatever u need. They were out of stock of the food my dog eats and the owner personally searched out and drove to pick it stock up for me. I can’t say how grateful I am as his allergies only allow specific proteins. I love the personable staff and even remember my pups name. Won’t go anywhere else now that they are in the hood! Thanks guys!
