I have used their services 3 times - once through a vet and twice where we brought our dog to them after they were put to sleep.

These folks are clearly kind, salt of the Earth, genuine people who care deeply about your pets and grief. It's not a fancy cold facility with no heart, it's a family run cremation service in a beautiful forest run by people who want to hear about your pet. You call to make your appointment and when you're there you choose your urn or box with them and what type of service you would like, knowing you'll potentially take your pet home that day. You're reading that right, your pet will be home with you that same day in theory. Our dogs were both small so I'm sure it could be different with larger pets, scheduling, or more personalized items like memory boxes and paw prints.

(The overall vet experience is most often flipping through a brochure of urns and price lists for one of the fancy places under cold fluorescent lighting as you cry your eyes out since these decisions are made before they'll put your pet to sleep typically. Then your pet has to wait in cold storage until pick up and you get their ashes in about a week. I find this route impersonal but I know it is the only option for some and respect that.)

The two times we have brought our dogs we were asked about them, how old they were, their stories. They fit us in with one day notice for one and a few hours of notice with the other.

Sometimes we are very far removed from the ritual of death and I truly feel like it stunts our processing of grief. Being able to transport our loved ones, share their stories, witness the placement of their body into the cremation oven (which is done with so much care and respect. This time the young gentlemen unwrapped our baby and put him in our blanket for us) is profound. We go for a walk through Aylard for a hour while we wait and then they call to let us know they're ready.

Being able to follow the path of grief through saying goodbye, transport, witnessing, and bringing your loved one back home that same day versus waiting a week or more from the vet is healing in a time of despair. I know my boys were never gone from home because I took them from each stage to back where they belonged. Home. Having the option to be a participant in that journey is not something all are aware of and I can't speak more highly of it if you understand all of what will be involved.

Thank you to everyone at Glory Bound for making the process a little more personal, kinder and gentler for the grieving. Thank you for treating Dante, Titus and Nigella with love and respect.

The community appreciates you more than words could say.

Yesterday I lost one of my best friends, Gus. One of the hardest parts afterwards is trusting someone to handle your friends' remains. Glory Bound was recommended to my by someone I trust very much, and Glory Bound did not let me down. Not only were they incredibly understanding and empathetic as I bawled my eyes out but they handled him gently and with the same care I did. Today I picked my boy back up and I couldn't be more impressed with the work they did. The box is beautiful and very tasteful and the plaster imprint of his paws were perfect. So thank yiu again Glory Bound for making this terrible time just a little bit easier. Highly recommend

I called in today for a friend and it reminded me of the service I received them Glory Bound about 6 years ago.

I could not find a place to cremate my hamster back then because of its size. But Glory Bound took her, and the owners were amazing, they were assuring us every step. They patiently answered all the concerns I had, let us know how long the process would be, and even explained why the ashes did not look white.

Absolutely amazing service and fair cost. Beautiful Urns to choose from. I am very happy with the service and how they personalized what I wanted on the plaque on the urn box. I was able to watch my beautiful dog Ludo go into the cremation device, which really helped me in the process. I really appreciate you guys for helping make my very hard day a little easier by being so accommodating with times and attention to detail. Thank you so much. I will have you guys in mind when ever I need your services again
