Used to close doors 30 minutes early, now they're often closed 45 mins early or more. Outrageous. Update your hours.

Today my mother went to return some cans, a 6'3 man with dark reddish hair and a beard wearing blue overalls helped her carry the bag of returns and made sure she scanned it, and then promptly ushered her out.

We believe after leaving he emptied the bag and returned the cans himself, a female family friend has had a similar experience where this same man entered her vehicle and stole her returns at this location, he was apparently banned for a short period of time and is now back to continue victimizing women.

We attempted to reach the depot by phone to confirm with regard to today's return but they did not answer.

Not a safe location for women or those who believe in the kindness of strangers, no one is looking out for your well-being here.

Been going for eleven years, never felt shorted ever. Don't criticize workers unless you have been in their shoes. Don't show up with not enough time to sort your stuff before quitting time. Nobody wants to work without being paid, duh. Be polite and patient, don't try to cut the line, we don't like that. Just saying.

The short Asian lady works at a glacial pace, halfway through counting she forgets the count and has to re-count, gets distracted and has to re-count, checks the label, forgets the count and has to re-count …
Took her 15 min to pay me $5, so it’s a great waste of everyone’s time, goes through maybe $20 -$30 worth of refund per hour. She gets paid for all this is a miracle.

This place is good. For a bottle depot, it is always, I mean always going to smell of stale beer and spirits.it is what it is. There is always soap and paper towels to wash up afterwards. And the counters are always kept fairly clean! With the broadway line construction, it has changed the direction to get there. Lines move fairly quickly.so no long wait times.

Been there twice in the past year and each time the place was clean, with helpful and organized staff. It's my preferred location despite being a bit harder for me to get to from my place.

They have an “Express Bottle/Container DropOff” in which you register online—your phone number, email address. You bring in your bottles/containers in a clear sealed plastic bags. When you come to facility, you enter your phone number into a little device, enter number of bags—& you get personalized labels to stick onto bags. Then you just leave bags. Staff will empty bags/ count/sort—& then e-transfer $$ refunds to your email address. Most folk choose to bring in their empties, count & sort them into plastic trays—then collect their bottle refunds in cash.

This location has gotten better and better. The last couple years it is even better organized to be quicker and pay out from a machine works well. Lots of parking is a plus!

A little warning - they were closed at least 20 minutes early (4: 40pm) the last time I tried to return something. So maybe don't believe the open/close times.

I went to this return it depot today (Saturday May 29,2021 at 10 am. I had 200 empties in 4 clear plastic bags with my return it sticker on all my bags. When I was there I asked where I drop my bags off and the lady working there told me that I had to count all my cans and bottles and weight In line to be served. There were lots of street people counting empties and putting them on carts and waiting in line to get refunds. I had to leave and I found the whole exeriense to be disgusting. It was like being in slums. I did not get the $ 20 for the 200 empty plastic carrot juice bottles and cans I left in the transparent bags with my sticker on. I will never visit them again or is a complete joke the way this depot is run.

Always great service and never had an issue going there. Staff are friendly and talkative, always helpful if you need. On top of recyclable bottles and cans, I've returned small appliances, donates clothes & shoes. Location is convenient, and it's just busy enough to have a quick turnover.

Pretty clean environment for being a Recycle Center. The Staff are very Friendly and Helpful. Great place to take your Receyling. No Washroom, but there's a place to Wash your Hands.

Easy to deal with, good staff, pretty clean for a depot really. Had some trouble finding it but once I realized the door is at the alley I had no problems dropping off lots of busted electronics.

Friendly, patient staff. Depot is as clean as I have ever seen. Blue bins aren't sticky like other depots & building is as clean as you can keep it with hundreds of people in & out everyday on foot, bicycles, cars, trucks, grocery carts, etc. Ample bins for sorting & carts, enough garbage containers & separate area to wash hands, etc. Place is busy but everyone gets their turn at tables to sort & organize their containers. Be really careful driving up to the depot broken glass is everywhere. They don’t bother to clean it

During these covid times, it's difficult to return empty bottles & cans to the store where they were purchased. In comes Go Green Bottle Depot & Recycling, where you can bring your empties for a refund. This place is busy, but everything moves relatively fast. It will help if you separate cans from alcoholic beverages from those of juice & pop, remove lids from bottles, and otherwise the staff there will very efficiently count your empties. You can bring electronics, batteries and other recyclables here. Check their website for details and hours.

They just take cans and bottles. No other recycling. Watch your personal stuff. Full of theives and junkies. Bring a pair of disposable rubber gloves. You will thank me. The crates you need to fill have every disease known to man.
