Parents moved to the Caribbean 2 years ago and shipment never made it to curaçao. After 2 years and contact with the company and promises of a suited refund solution over email and over phone still waiting. Response we get is low cash flow to do a refund. It’s bad enough that my parents lost all their personal belongings and now this. What huge shipping company doesn’t have 3000-4000 or what it is.getting beyond furious with this company and looking to take legal actions if solutions haven’t been met this week

I paid this company to ship my vehicle from Toronto to Vancouver. After weeks of no movement I picked up my car and drove it across the country myself. I have yet to receive a refund after 10 months. Countless calls and emails have gone unanswered. I think this company is a scam

Scam! Overcharged me, acknowledged owing me thousands and refused to pay! Will be taking them to small claims. Look elsewhere!

I payed US$1,750,00 for custom clearing and a door to door service from Richmond, BC to my hometown in Saudi Arabia. They said they don’t come to Richmond so I uhauled my shipment to them and that was okay because i was more concerned about the shipment at the receiving end. I ended up paying for custom clearing and delivery both and get scammed along the way. When I informed World Cargo about this, the agent they used to process my shipment contacted me to offer a partial refund of what I had to pay. I tried to go through the legal means to file a complaint in Saudi Arabia and I hit a roadblock every step of the way.

Staff is friendly and efficient. Their expertise was so helpful to expedite my overseas shipment.

This company is extremely unprofessional. I have never witnessed such disrespect in such a demeaning manner. They will apologize and make promises over and over again but never stand by their word. Apparently being a compulsive liar is key to obtaining a position at this joke of a business. Take my word for it- don’t bother using them. I would use any other company and pay any dollar amount before being forced to trust them again.

This was the worst experience ever. We delivered 3 loads for World Cargo as a carrier and received only half of the payment that was agreed with their representative Thais Soares. After numerous emails and calls in attempt to receive the full amount of the payment they just stoped answering, their operation team do not transfer calls to accounting department or Matt Bryson who / could you believe that? ! / is never in the office. I would highly recommend everyone to avoid doing any bussiness with these dishonest people to secure yourself from vasting time your money.

I don’t usually leave reviews but thought this was an amazing experience to share. World Cargo helped my partner and I moved our personal belongings and vehicle to our new home overseas. They were of valuable assistance and supportive during the whole process. I would like to thank the entire World Cargo staff, and will highly recommend them to friends and family.

I used world cargo services to ship my car from Toronto to Vancouver and I must say they were absolutely the best to deal with. I spoke to Ian and he was very helpful from point A to Z and was on top of everything to get my car to the west coast with no hiccups. I had some delays from my point but they were so patient getting the information from me. Car arrived earlier than estimated with NO damages and there were No surprises that came along the way.
They went over and beyond for me with there service and the cost of getting the car was very fare. Great company to deal with and will recommend them to anyone

Great and friendly service until they get your money! Got a quote and agreed to pay and left my car. Before they got it shipped out they charged me an additional $1500 because of a "Carrier cancelation" While understandable I was disappointed at this point. Little did I know this would be just the start of things. They also did not pay the shipping company before the vehicle arrived at its destination which caused it to have an additional $3000 of storage fees on top what I had already paid. They also downplayed what the destination fees would be, while unavoidable and not their fault it would have been nice to have an idea that the destination charges were almost as much as the shipping costs for the vehicle.

I have been emailing and calling for weeks with next to no response. After weeks and weeks, I finally got a resolution because the director of the import company called them. They never answered my call. It also cost me an extra 900 in container rental because of the additional time the car took in Warf storage.

DO NOT SHIP WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER TALK TO YOU AGAIN and it will cost $4000 more than you should pay.

Anyway, thank this company for helping me transport my car from Vancouver to Ottawa in this May. While I have to say: for the whole business process, they are very unprofessional on each step.

First l, we walked into their store in person and discussed about all the costs of transportation vehicles, and paid a deposit and signed the contract. Then I received a phone call from their employee saying that they had miscalculated the price, so I had to pay more than about 200 Canadian dollars to cover their shipment costs. I compromised.

Then when I dropped off my car around April 22, according to their previous commitment, the car will arrive in Ottawa on May 7. Then I was told that the ETA may be delay.

On May 12, we emailed them that we would like to get some updates of transportation information and ETA. BUT they never gave us a specific date. On May 19, I was informed that the car had arrived in Ottawa.

The most outrageous thing was that when my friend went to pick up my car, he found that my car had arrived in Ottawa on May 10, and no one informed us during that time. We contacted their staff in Ottawa and asked them why this happened Why did not inform us the first time my car arrived why did not update the info on time. Finally, no one replied to us anymore.

Although the car arrived smoothly, the whole service process was annoying. They were unprofessional from the beginning of the price budget until the delivery of the vehicle. I hope you will think clearly before choosing them.

If you want a company very fast to charge, but very slow to help you, there it is, l have innumerous problems with my container, l lost money, they have zero clue how deal with a container company, they don't even how properly draft a BL, they have zero customer service, l really don't know how people can give a five star for this company, save your self money and sanity! Find another Freight forward Company, you don't going to save money, in fact you cost l lot more in the end.

Very fast to take your money, after that forget, your nightmare just begun, you going to lose so much money that is not funny, , in taxes, in fines, all my goods got in the destination after four months delay and all demaged, but the insurance they sale to you, just cover for
thirty days, l never see this in my life, they promisse my container would be me in Miami in fifiteen days and after four months is here, goods all damaged, now it is all garbage, then don't take any resposability, they dont care about you!

Terrible company they are dissorganized unprofissional, the company made numerous mistakes that delay's my container by twenty days, causing extra charge in storage, a substantial fee to change the documentation that they completed incorrectly, l need to pay demurrage fees. They are useless, be aware, their knowledge on what they are doing, and profissionalism, is going to cause you a lot problems and money loss. In my case so far US2.500$ has gone down the drain in extra expenses due to their mistakes.

You know that say you have what you pay for!? That applied here, they don't care about you, Matt the owner never bother even to replied emails, a have just issues and problems, the initial cost, triple in the end! For their incompetence dishonest, they zero respect for their customers.

Friendly and kind staff. Portuguese and Spanish speakers as well as English. They helped me at short notice to ship my e-bike and some luggage back to Brazil. Thanks so much!

Not recommended. They gave me a quote, then later revised the quote. Then they added fees that were not mentioned earlier. Final cost was over twice the original quote.

Dishonest. Will give a low quote, then after you pay, will more than double the final cost. Not recommended.

I would like to preface this by saying that neither my partner nor I have ever felt compelled to write a bad review before. Our experience with World Cargo Shipping was so negative that we felt obliged to at least convey our experience with them so as to caution others considering using their services to move personal belongings worldwide. Perhaps they should exert that they specialize in moving commercial products only. So, if you choose to move using World Cargo (which I strongly do not advise) make sure you are fully educated on all the procedures beforehand. Get your shipping manifest from them before you pack (we were only informed we needed to fill this out after we had already given them our boxes and were in our new country nearly two weeks later), ask specifically for quotes in one consistent currency and that the quotes included services on both ends (our original quote did not include a 900 euro charge for delivery to Berlin), ask what products could potentially be problematic to move through customs into your new country. Educate yourself, and don’t expect to be helped at all through the process by World Cargo. The whole business seemed to lack communication between departments, be generally disorganized, and would often neglect to answer questions we had clearly asked on several occasions. That being said, two and half months later, our belongings finally arrived with no damage to the interior items (we ended up shipping via sea after we couldn't afford the final quote for air). Also, door-to-door delivery really just means the skid will be dropped curbside, at least in Germany.

This doesn't seem to be a reliable/serious company.in two weeks I called 3 times, left emails, left a voice mail, speak to two representatives for a quote, they haven't come back to me.time's up. Every other companies I called were able to provide me with a quote in less than 48h.
Yeah, a guy named Matt answered my very first email more than 3 weeks ago, and then not a single answer. Now even if they answer me, I would not trust a company with such reactivity when it comes to ship my personal belongings.
Not to mentioned that I told the last lady I had on the phone that I was frustrated, but beside being arrogant at me she didn't solve my case.

This are thieves.they ask Antwerp agent (tci carriers) rates for local Antwerp charges & delivery to consignee and promise to pay.but in the end, they never pay or even reply your email. I have informed FORWARD (Antwerp Freight Forwarding Association) about this misconduct and gangster practices.if anyone needs more info, please contact me

The staff at World Cargo were so helpful and supportive when we were shipping our friend's belongings to Kenya. I would recommend world cargo to anyone shipping internationally from Vancouver.

The staff at WorldCargo speak in broken English and are hard to understand. They are not very efficient and have a hard time listening when a client is speaking. Try to talk to the Manager and he will be on the phone with another client for hours.service could improve!

In September I had to move from Vancouver to Toronto and I didn’t have enough stuff to warrant a full-on mover but too much for excess baggage. Where do we go from here? Fortunately I remembered my friend in Whistler, Mathieu Theobald, had moved many, among them Rami Zein and Phil Elliott, to Vancouver so I figured he might be able to help. He was the bomb! He said, “Rasta don’t worry, I ‘m going to give you a number and you’ll be happy! ” He turned me on to World Cargo, Vancouver and the rest is history.
I called them and they asked for information on size and weight of goods to be shipped so they could prepare an estimate. Clueless to that, I confessed. And was told, “okay think about what you have, package some of it, weigh it, and call us back and give a weight of that package and how many of those you may have”. So “I guessed” I had twelve boxes with an assumed size 16”X12”X14” each weighing about 30 pounds The gentleman I spoke to was Matt Bryson. He was careful to advise this was just an estimate but it would be about $425 and would arrive in Toronto 6-9 days after shipping. Perfect!
I packed all my stuff into BCLDB shipping boxes, rented a uHaul van and took them to World Cargo, at 9295 Shaunessey Street (under the Oak Street bridge), and they took care of me. It turns out I had a little more than I expected, 21 pieces with a weight of 275 kg (539 lb). That would have been a minimum 14 suitcases at 20 kg each, almost $1500 in overweight charges, plus a van. Woe!
My contact there Tais Soares was pleasant and efficient she had my stuff weighed, advised me that I could have delivered to my door for a nominal fee and the deal was done. All in all, I paid $782.90 to have “the cargo” on my doorstep 6 days after I dropped it off. That’s service. World Cargo are my new favourite movers. They should be yours too!

I shipped my consignment through Go World Cargo and I am so happy that I make the right choice. Although this was my first international move from Canada to Europe and I didn't knew what to expect at the other end.

After reaching here I met several challenges including changing of my Bill of Landing and so much more. But the Go World Cargo team was consistently in touch with and assisting me everyday asking repeatedly if I need any more assistance. I have never met such a level headed team of professionals in this era of time. I bet no other company in entire Canada have better customer service than Go World Cargo. And the best part of the deal was that their prices was lowest than anyone else. In today's world most of companies dump their customers once the payment is done but it doesn't happen when you are dealing with a world class team of professionals at Go World Cargo.

World Cargo was extremely helpful. I had a heavy piece of artwork that I couldn’t take with me on the plane and they helped me get it back to the States without overspending.

Matt, Juan Carlos and Tais all thorough and prompt in their dealings. Was pleasantly surprised how simple they made the process.

My books have not reached their destination but the service to drop them and get paperwork done was much smoother than I expected. I am hoping the reaching part to the destination will be similarly smooth.

I had my Jeep and belongings shipped to Finland. World Cargo staff were always professional and gave great customer service. Any question and issue that came up was answered or resolved quickly.
