This is a wonderful park that has a mostly flat walk. It has wide paths and is a leisurely 30 minute walk. There are benches for resting and public washrooms. There is also a parking lot. There are lots of trees that have been planted by the previous owners, also a nice pond. There is a wonderful story to the property. Definitely worth the visit.

Tranquility, serene, soft wildlife, trails, the loop, the small lake and the chirpy birds. Beautiful place with benches to sit and enjoy.

Godwin park is a short but beautiful walk surrounded by towering trees fairly unique in the area. There is a pond, field and many fruit trees to enjoy as well.

There is parking and a washroom along the trail.

Lovely little park. Very tranquil and well away from major roads. Makes for a nice 30 minute stroll, perfect for some quiet contemplation or a family picnic.

Note: Dogs are not allowed in the park and this is well sign posted.

A beautiful man made lake with rustic scenery. A beautiful piece of land that was once owned by a family who dug and constructed the lake. They eventually donated that part of their land to the city of Surrey. So happy that Surrey kept it a conservation park.
Its a serene place for me to quickly visit and walk the 10 min easy, flat gravel path circle that starts from the parking lot and brings you through 4 beautiful scenic settings. And brings and your walk to an end of the trai at the opposite side of the parking lot.
Godwin is not an overly manicured Park (unlike bear creek park) its Very natural. There are only a few memorial benches throughout the park. And, if those are occupied ;there are not really any places to lay a towel. They ask you not to hike though the vegetation for obvious reasons.
Now for the negative.heres why i gave it 3 stars. No pets are allowed. Not even leashed, so now that i own a puppy, i rarely come to Godwin any more. Also, alot of teens hanging in the parking lot smoking weed snd doing drug drops, Dont really make you feel at ease when pulling in.once I was there and a car pulled in, and sonebody hopped out with a coffee can snd placed it in the tall grass and then hopped back in his car and peeled out. Before i could clear my confusion of that was going on, about 3 min later an SUV raced in.a guy jumped out and grabbed the can and then jumped back in his vehicle and peeled out leaving a cloud of dust A little ghetto for a family destination. Also, sometimes the parking lot fills up as there is only 12 parking spots. So always lame when its filled with teens that are just there to smoke weed and eyeball me for pulling in.not much parking on the road either.but the beauty FAR outweighs the negative. A must see. Beautiful in rain or shine.i will never tire of that scenery.

Cute little park to walk around. A good distance for kids - they won't get tired. No dogs allowed so no poop to step in. The lake is quiet and nice to watch. There are no washrooms.

Little tucked-away park, lovely for a stroll. There's a little pond where you can watch ducks bathe, and a short trail with tall trees. Note that dogs are not allowed here. Ample parking available. When in season, you can enjoy the fruit from the trees that the Godwin's planted many years ago!

It’s a beautiful and quiet place for a stroll. No traffic noise whatsoever. Lovely tall trees (including redwoods!) and clean pathways. The pond was a serene place to sit and just be. No washrooms and playground but I didn’t mind. My kid didn’t mind either. She had fun walking around, touching leaves and trees, and crossing “bridges”.
