Great store with locations in Nanaimo, Qualicum Beach, and Duncan. Whether buying or selling they will treat you with fairness.

These guys are con artists. The owner Jeff has a terrible history of ripping people off. If you want to save big $$ and work with honest people with gold/silver the only place to buy from is VCBE Vancouver Bullion Exchange. Ask for Tony Mah. Their pirces are about $100 or more on each gold ounce. Adds up. VCBE ships anywhere and most times they do that for free. I have used both and found gold silver guy to rip you off. I have heard from MANY people. There is no one on the island who has your gold/silver best interest in mind. Hope this helps!

This business sells jewellery listed as Sterling Silver, but clearly it's not. Here is a picture of my rose quartz pendant from the Qualicum Beach location. It cost $80.00 and it's junk metal! Do not buy from this place. They're scam artists.

Rude, brought in beautiful watches. Was informed that people don't use watches anymore, as my husband and I both wear watches. No information or a smile. I would go somewhere else if I was anyone. I guess I'll throw my 1915 stamp away because no one uses the mail anymore either. Unbelievable

They obviously have a monopoly on the island and couldn't do less to help you. Jeff is short and quite rude worst experience with a jeweler the poor patrons of this island being stuck without another opinion.

Nothing but good things to say about everyone at this shop. I came in knowing very little and they very kindly and patiently helped me figure out what I was looking for. Very personable, I would highly recommend to anyone!

Always fun in there. Jeff and his son in law don't mind taking the time to teach a little to us treasure hunters and are always patient and encouraging. They never talk down to you but treat you as a less experienced accolyte of the same passion they have. I appreciate that.

I called this gentleman about a few questions about some coins that I had in my possession and I recieved alot more Info than I expected.and greatly appreciated what he told about my coins so with all this being said.if you ha e any rarer unusual coins that you have concerns about.then I hafta say call this gentleman believe me you will not be disappointed

Major rip off at charging $3 above spot price. Didn't really like the apathetic attitude of one of the employees. Other than that it is a standard store for your jewelry or bullion. It's ok. Buy from border gold or from vbce their prices are drastically lower. Unfortunately this company has a monopoly on Vancouver island. There is little to no competition. Little to no options for rare metals like platinum and palladium. Unfortunate.

I found the owner of the store to be personable and very helpful in making my purchase. If you are looking to buy / sell gold or silver, this is the place to go.

Very professional and knowledgeable, provided excellent information and threw in a smattering of humour.
