Golden Panda Restaurant

We order out often but was really disappointed with our meal. I waited longer than expected and was surprised that the food was cold. The soup was good as usual but the dinner for one was salty and oily. Overall the food didn't seem fresh. Plus the fortune cookies were the worst! Stall tasteless and chewy. I hope it gets better because we would like to order here again.

They are never open at 11 as advertised
To bad as it's not bad food but if you have lunch time deadline to get back to work go some where else.as like the food but back to work late and my boss says go some where else to keep my job

I'm a visitor to Surrey and Golden Panda is the only restaurant I go to, great food and service every time I go, I'm going back home to Saskatchewan and I'm gonna miss Golden Panda

Very good experience. Ordered family dinner and got really good quality and quantity of food. Very neat and clean. Small old school restaurant

I got the dinner special and I thought it was really good. I feel like I got a lot of food for $14 after tax and I probably can get three meals out of it but I am a light weight I moved back to this area last month and definitely will be going back. Thank friendly staff

Ordered take out, the food was prepared and when I got home and started to eat. There was a fishy slimy taste to the beef and noodles. Overly salty and even the vegetables were not fresh. The only thing good was the fried rice which was dry. My wife and I will probably get food poisoning.

Avoid this place at all costs, ate here and got food poisoning hours later. Do not go here.

I went to eat here today as I was passing by and hungry. The restaurant was empty. No air conditioning in this heat.

The server/ hostess was nice. I ordered the chow mein and chicken wings.

The chicken wings were starting to spoil. After two bites into the wings, they tasted sour. I tried to call the server several times over but she was busy with her head down, I'm assuming on her phone at the counter or something else. I waited 15 mind but she didn't take notice. There one noone else in the whole restaurant. I was the only customer.

When I finally informed her she took it back. They didn't not make or did they offer to change my bill to take off the wings. They gave me four wings, I returned 3 and 3 quarters of wings to them and yet they made no effort to do the right thing. Eitheray, I thanked them for the meal politely, paid the bill, left a tip and walked out.

I acknowledged and understand that mistakes happen. And that's fine, but it's sad they didn't attempt to rectify the situation.

They would have to pay me significantly for me to return and I would still worry about being poisoned.

So disappointed with our meal.ordered take out, spent alot of money and basically the only dish that was ok was the wonton soup.lemon chicken was like a chicken cutlet swimming in sauce.rice was mushy, everything tasted old.definitely will never be spending our money here again

They buy their frying oil in bulk from China. The company that processes the oil is well known for processing gutter oil. Gutter oil is oil processed from raw sewage. If you need to know more details, I suggest you look into it online and avoid this place like your life depends on it.

When the husband cooks the food is allright it seems.
When the wife cooks, it's terrible, hit and miss with this place and not very happy with their food most times.
I would not recommend Golden Panda.

I have been ordering from here for about a year or maybe a bit longer. Up until this past Friday everything has always been awesome and delicious. We ordered and were told delivery will be 90 minutes I thought perfect as I was going to ask for that delivery time anyways. Unfortunately they only had one delivery driver and I am guessing we were one of his final deliveries on his current run, most of the food was not even warm. The only thing that was warm was the won ton soup. I hate to leave a bad review for such a good restaurant so I did give it 4 stars but if they say delivery will be more than an hour I would go elsewhere for whatever you are ordering. I will order from here again, hoping it was just a one time issue with the delivery.

Since that last review, I have to add that the quality of the food has really gone downhill over the past few months. They must have changed cooks or there is a new one in the kitchen. The quality is nowhere near what it was a year ago! Thus the change to 2 stars now.

When you order for a later time, they don't care and just want to get the order out the door. Plus, the delivery driver tried to round up the bill when I already added a tip into the order.

Hard to trust a business that doesn't care about the customer.

First and last time ordering from Golden Panda. Our deep fried prawns were over-salted, over-cooked, dry and inedible. The egg foo yung had a weird consistency and no gravy. The chicken chow main tasted liked it had been cooked hours before and sat under a heat lamp. This was the worst Chinese food we have ever had and was very expensive as well. We won’t be returning.

The food here was absolutely inedible. It upset our stomachs. The fried rice tasted like it was fried in dirty old burnt oil.

Huge meals, very tasty, Wor Wonton soup, Ginger Chicken, good value and friendly service. Lots of parking

It was our go to place for years. However, since the pandemic quality of food is terrible, very very greasy. Tried 3x since pandemic last about 10dys ago thinking now dining is back in full swing but very disappointed. Ate a bit then into the compost. Very sad. Now have to find a new Chinese take out.
