Golden Plate

There closed and won't be oopen for 2 or 3 months? Should put sign on door and on there website?

My regular Chinese food place was closed. So I went and tried Golden Plate. Wow I was quite pleased. Newly updated building. Looks great inside.if you want to go there to sit in. Service was bang on. Didn't have any issues. I got pick up. My order was there. The food was great.

Some of the best Asian cuisine I've ever had. Friendly service, very good prices for the amount of food we got, and the food was full of flavour and cooked to perfection.

Unfortunately our experience wasn't the best. We ordered takeout as we are visiting from out of town, and we got the combination dish Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken Balls, and Sweet and Sour Pork, and also a small wonton soup.

The Food was very bland. It was edible, and that's about it. Food court Chinese like Manchu Wok is much better, and that's saying something.

Great chicken pho. Staff was eager to serve me and prompt. The soup was awesome. Small is big enough for two. Great place

Try the queen roll! It's an explosion of flavors, please don't ever close hahahaha this city needs new flavors and you have it!

Skip dropped the ball and the manager of Golden Plate personally drove our correct order to us as soon as he could.

Great food, lots of selection between Japanese, Thai, vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Wonderful customer service, the staff here is very nice; they go above and beyond for customer satisfaction. You can also order delivery and pick up on their website which is really nice.

The only reason they deserve 1 star is because of the great waitress we had, she was so sweet.
We should have known when we went in and we were the only people there, but we thought we would give them a chance. As soon as I saw the chef put the smoked salmon for our roll in the microwave, in plastic it comes in and more than once I wanted to walk out. [Also, think about this, not all the salmon he heated TWICE went on our roll, so how many more time before and after was it heated like that. ] The pad thai we ordered also came out suspiciously fast and tasted like it had just been reheated [Inconsistent temperature throughout]. The salmon on our roll was of a disgusting texture once it finally made it's way to us. We won't be back.

I am here from out of town on business. I ordered a Philadelphia roll spring rolls wonton soup and the meal box with chow mein honey garlic spare ribs and chicken balls. I have to say it was some of the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten by far especially the meal box was dreadful. I am supremely disappointed

Great and tasty asian selection of dinner items to choose from. The bold falvours of the Pad Thai and Thick Rice Noodles were exceptionally great.

Sweet sour pork were mostly bone and so so taste. The chicken noodle soup was very disappointing we ended making our own broth. We won't be ordering from here again.

I'm giving 2 stars only because we ordered off skip, food only deserves 1. Chinese combinations were horrible and 19+$ per plate? I'm willing to pay 20$ per combo but not for lousy food.

I ordered food through Skip but a courier did not come. The restaurant offered to drive the food to me themselves so it wouldn’t get cold. Great service!

Would definitely come back here. We had the Pad Thai and spring rolls. They offer a nice selection of Asian dishes, Chinese, Vietnamese, and sushi. The staff were very attentive and gave us great service. Nice portion sizes for the price.

I think this is a case of "Jack of all trades, master of none. " Everything is perfectly edible (which is more than I can say about some other Chinese places in town), but it's quite pricy for what seems like food-court-buffet level quality.
