Gold&Rose is an amazing shop to work with, we worked with James during our shopping/selection process for our wedding bands and it was great because he is also the jeweller so he was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions immediately. He is very responsive during the entire process and was very fast with production. His prices are extremely competitive and he was also very accommodating with the design customization that we wanted that I found a lot of other shops could not offer. Our wedding rings turned out beautiful and I couldn’t be happier from beginning to end. I really recommend shopping here for any custom ring needs!

When I went to get my necklace repaired, I waited for 30 minutes without any assistance and eventually had to leave. Regardless of whether other customers were buying expensive items, making a customer like me wait for 30 minutes without any assistance raises concerns about their service quality.

It was a very, very unpleasant experience.

I don't know about the booking system, but today I called 30 minutes before my appointment to let them know I was coming. I understand they might be busy, but it would have been nice if someone from the staff (since i was waiting, 3 staffs walked in to back room) could have explained the delay. Waiting for 30 minutes without any information was a bit disappointing.

My partner and I had our engagement rings custom made at Gold&Rose and we are so thrilled with how they turned out! Both rings are absolutely beautiful and perfectly suited to us. It was great to work with James as he was patient, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to understand our ideas and translate them into heirloom-quality pieces. Also, his dog is very cute, and seeing him plod around behind the counter made me laugh every time. We will definitely be back to get our wedding bands!

Had a great experience having my partner’s engagement ring done at Gold&Rose. James quoted a really competitive price and offered a very quick completion time. We were able to share examples of what we were looking for and go back and forth until we landed on the final design. My partner was even able to try on a 3D printed version of the ring beforehand. Excellent service! James was very helpful and was able to meet all of my requests. I came in with my engagement ring and wedding band that needed to be resized. We had a great experience working with James. My engagement ring was made overseas and he was willing to help me resize the ring (not all local jewellers are!). Also, others were quoting 1-3 weeks + for resizing but he had it done within a couple hours!

James created digital renders of our rings and sent us updated versions as we adjusted the ring details to our liking. We also got to try on molds of the rings before he created the final products. We worked with James to get my engagement ring custom made and it was such a pleasant experience. When we first met, he took the time to explain to my partner & I what all the Cs meant, as well as many other diamond related information which we never knew about. He educated us on how to make a well informed decision on which diamond to purchase, and what metals to use. He helped us work within our budget, and at no point did we felt pushed to buy, or to do something specific for the ring.
