Good Start Driving School

Sandeep is one of the best instructor in maple ridge. She is very knowledgeable, helpful, patient instructor. I only took few classes from her and I passed my road test on the first try. If u are in maple ridge and want to give test just go for her without even thinking.

Just wish I could rate Sandeep with more stars because she is a STAR driving instructor! If you're reading this review looking for a driving school, don't look any further; this is it. Sandeep is the best! I haven't had a driving lesson in 14 yrs and at 47 years old it was time to finally get my full class 5 lisence- I just kept putting it off. Her presence is very chill and relaxed, and she's very personable and knowledgeable. I bought one lesson a week before my class 5 exam, then the one lesson and car usage for my actual driving test. We worked on what I felt I needed practice, she got me familiar with the routes and she noticed areas where I needed to be mindful during the driver's exam and also pointed out any bad habits I'd formed. I passed no problem. I highly recommend Sandeep to anyone and everyone. My son has just turned 16 and I'll definitely have Good Start driving school be the school to get my son familiar with driving a car and the rules of the road. Thanks again Sandeep! Horrible experience with this driving school. I took quite a few lessons here and wasn't learning anything. I never got to practice parking or anything more advanced than driving in a straight line or turning right, plus the instructors all took phone calls while I was driving. I felt like I was just paying to borrow the car instead of paying for a teacher. Now I have a new driving instructor at a different school and the difference is insane. Complete waste of time.

Sandeep is an amazing instructor. She is patient and polite and makes you feel comfortable while driving. She won't judge you for any driving mistakes being made but instead will help you overcome those mistakes without passing any harsh remarks. She also has great and easy to follow techniques for parallel parking and reverse parking.

I met 3 instructors from this school and all of them were really helpful and professional. I was extremely scared to drive and it took me 1,5 month to stop panicking and finaly to pass the test. At the very beginning i thought that i'd take just a couple classes before the road test but only after the first class I realized how bad my driving is. Very instructive lessons! I highly recommend taking these lessons if you plan on taking the road test in the Maple Ridge area. You will go though the ICBC road test routes and will learn every minor skillset needed to pass your test.

I was in a panic to get driving lessons for my son as he had booked his road test already and I didn’t feel that he was ready at all. I searched for someone local as the bigger driving schools were booked up months ahead. I searched online and was able to connect with Sandeep. She was accommodating, friendly and her price was very reasonable. Also, she was able to pick him up and drop him off at my place which was huge for me. It was a pleasure dealing with her and my son enjoyed his lessons. Needless to say my son now has his “N”and is all around more confident when he’s out driving. A big thanks again Sandeep!

Not only the basic driving rules but infact everything that needs to be taken care of on road is taught by the instructor. I was so scared of driving but her patience and motivation has helped me develop those skills. She is really generous and so good at heart that i will remember her forever.

I highly recommed this driving school. I failed for 3 times and last time I had no hopes! I went to her to take lessons. She fixed a couple of misconceptions I had and helped me to be calm and regain the lost confidence while I was taking lessons.

She also taught simple and basic techniques instead of making it complex.
