We had our wedding here in October and Lynette (new owner as of 2023) went above and beyond our expectations. From planning and organizing, to checking our looks before we walked down the isle, we couldn't be more grateful! The venue was beautiful and many guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. We can say the same. Thanks Lynette!

Lynette is simply the best! She was above and beyond what we had expected and is absolutely delightful to work with. Her experience with running other weddings is obvious and certainly came in handy; her recommendations made the day run smoother and the day was about as perfect as it could get. A lot of our guests commented on how well put together the wedding was, not to mention how beautiful the resort is, due to both its natural beauty and Lynette's efforts in improving the place since she became the new owner. From our perspective on the prep side, it felt a little strange to let someone else handle it all after all the time and effort we put into planning the day, but it allowed us to enjoy the day with very little stress.

Beautiful, serene…amazing! The most beautiful views, grounds, cabins…I could go on and on and on. We filled the resort from Friday to Sunday. My daughters wedding was Saturday September 9,2023. The owner Lynette went above and beyond making every detail absolutely perfect. It was a wedding I couldn’t have dreamt more perfectly. I am so pleased to be writing such a fantastic review for the Gowlland Harbour Resort. We had our wedding at the resort on June 17th, 2023 and it was truly the most magical location to be married at! We were unsure of how the weekend would go once we learned the resort was under new ownership, only a couple months before our wedding date; however, the new owner (Lynette) proved the change in ownership to be the biggest blessing in disguise! She was honest, informed, organized, and we could not have done the day without her. Michelle, who managed room bookings and finer details, was also so amazing to work with! The entire resort was spotless and the main deck was recently sanded new. The honeymoon suite was absolutely breathtaking with a deck overlooking the ocean where you could spot seals and otters swimming about. If you are looking for a place to relax with your friends or family this resort is the place to be. If you’re looking for a peaceful and private resort to have your wedding at, this is the place to do it. I am looking forward to returning here soon to enjoy the beautiful scenery and peaceful setting with my husband. Thank you Gowlland team for the best wedding weekend ever!

Wow! Breathtaking views! We stayed in the Seaview House and it was absolutely amazing! Not one complaint.
