We recently had to have a major floor/wall repair due to a manufacturing defect. The staff at Grampas RV were amazing! From start to finish, they updated us all the way through our repair. We can't speak highly enough about their professional abilities. We would gladly recommend them to all of our friends and family. Also, they offer great discounts as well as a special discount for all first responders!

We had a damage claim through our insurance company that other companies didn't respond to when requesting repairs. We finally spoke with Grampa's (Penny) who got the ball rolling with the insurance company. We had a tight time line as other companies had lets us down, Penny got the work completed ahead of time and we were able to go away as planned.
Penny was a delight to deal with through the whole process, we would highly recommend them for maintenance and other repairs to your RV. Thank you.

Unclear on their pricing from square one, charging for things that didn't need to be charged at double the price of elsewhere. Asked them to stop after the initial assessment and still got charged $700. Save yourself money and hassle and go elsewhere.

I recently took our rv trailer to Grampa's to have it prepped for an upcoming long road trip, and I really appreciated them going above and beyond normal expectations to settle my concerns, particularly dealing with bearings and brakes. This all happened in the middle of their moving locations and in spite of this hectic time for them, Penny was amazing in scheduling me in for the work needed

We were just at the bc outdoors show in Chilliwack. WE stopped and talked with the staff for quite a long time about various topics. I bought a Lippert gazebo and the staff were awesome. Next time I need service I will be using them. There is a great family vibe here.

Grampa’s RV saved our long weekend! I pulled away from my house without unplugging the trailer and sheared the plug right off. I immediately called Grampas and they told me to bring it by. Within the hour they had us fixed and on the road. Truly exceptional service and lovely staff. Life happens and that’s why there’s places like grandpas rv!

The whole team at Grandpas took great care of my unit. Quote for repairs was fair, work was completed in a timely fashion and final bill was on par with quote.

We had a wheel bearing burn out on our trailer on the highway and looked up a repair shop nearby and found these guys. I was really worried that we were gonna be stuck for a day or two when we were on our way to a wedding the next day. They replaced the whole brake assembly and wheel bearing and repacked all the others and had us on our way a few hours later. We were so happy that they could take us in straight away and make it a priority. I can’t thank them enough and highly recommend them.

Had issues with bedroom slide on return from Arizona in April. Grampa’s quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the slide perfectly and the fee was minimal. They also explained how to minimize potential future issues like this. They were very professional and honest right from the front office thru to the shop staff. Certainly a shop I’ll return to with any future issues - they were excellent!

This is BY FAR! The BEST RV repair business in the entire valley. Wanna know why I know this? Because my family and I discovered a propane leak with our travel trailer a week ago. I called 5 different shops and they ALL said we can get you in, in about 2 months! I said WHAT? I called Grandpa's and they said the same, maybe a bit sooner. The service advisor Penny then said let me call you back. She called back and said we'll get you in 2 DAYS. They repaired our RV sooooo quickly. I can't tell you how grateful we are to have discovered this business! If I could give them a 10 star rating I would! Don't waist your time with anyone else, just take it to Grandpa's RV Repair

Penny and Technicians were a delight to work with. We had to wait quite a while for awning parts due to COVID, however Penny kept us informed and entertained:) until the work was completed. We had the awning replaced, electrical issues fixed and a very talented Technician rebuilt a drawer that was damaged under the fridge. Very friendly and talented! Grampa’s RV is 5 out of 5 on every aspect of their business & the dealings I have experienced. They are professional at every level, demonstrate empathy towards my problems, gave me options & performed repairs on time & at a fair price. They constantly followed up during Covid parts issues to advise when they expected parts on order from the US. These guys have got the customer service experience right. In my opinion they are the bar which all others should be measured.

I had a problem with the furnace in my RV, made an appointment with Penny at the front counter. I dropped my RV off and got a call a couple days later to pick the RV up, as it had been repaired. Timely service done by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. I will be returning in the future when required.

Talked to my buddies from our RV park before booking in and was told to ONLY deal with Richard. When I phoned in I found he’s not there anymore. The wife found that he’s moved on to Glen’s RV across the street! On to Glen’s RV.

We recently went to Grampa's on the referral of a friend. We had problems with the electrical system in our R-Pod and were very happy with the service and work received. Special mention goes to Penny who is very knowledgeable and helpful. She recommended going from a 1x12 volt to 2x6 volt batteries plus a portable solar panel system. We will plan on going to Grampa's for all our RV repair and maintenance needs. Thanks, Penny!

Richard and Penny are Rock Stars. We had an ICBC claim for a new awning and Richard connected with ICBC immediately and everything went thru so smooth. Also one of our slides had a mechanical issue and during a lightning storm we had a power surge so had other fuse/electrical issues. Penny handled everything on that end and they washed the beast too. They also knew time was of the essence for the repairs and as promised they gotter done ahead of time. They are just so kind and efficient. They keep in contact communicating the details of what is happening. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you muchly.

After buying a 13 yr old "slightly used" toyhauler, where all factory seals had been leaking since new, with extensive water damage, Grampa's RV explained clearly what was wrong, reviewed the damage in the shop in-person with their technician before authorizing repairs, and completed the repairs in a timely manner, with step-by-step consultation with the owner, ensuring no surprises. Excellent customer service and ICBC accredited. We brought our trailer to Grampa's after being turned away from the dealership from which we purchased as they didn't have time to accomodate our ICBC repair. Richard and his team are kind and they took the time to make sure we understood the process. We had 2 very difficult ICBC claims and it turned out perfectly. The owner Joel quite literally went out of his way to get our trailer back to our parking spot for us. We have been having our trailer checked every year for the pass 5 years and Serviced with Grampas Rv. We have had them do a full inspection from our brakes / gas / appliances and a full pressure test to check all of our seals and has kept our trailer like new. We recently had to have our roof fully replaced last year because of the damaged done by crows. They did an amazing job and is like a new again The staff from the front end office to all the staff in the service department are helpful and friendly and answer your questions. Hands down the best repair shop around 100% for all your Rv repairs

February, Vancouver Island, 2021. The propane on our RV stopped working and our tank emptied overnight. With the problem unknown, professional diagnosis was required. We could not find a single repair shop on the Island that would take the RV until late March, early April, even though we were living in it.

We called up Grampa's RV and Penny could get us in for repairs the moment we arrived. They found and fixed the problem in no time.

We also needed new axles before we could haul the RV back to Manitoba. It took close to two weeks before they arrived. And thankfully, with some careful adjustments to the shop schedule, Penny was able to fit in the repairs only a few days later, as we needed to be on the road again by the end of March.

As advertised they are a family managed business with the values one would expect. At the front of the house Richard and Penny were easy-going and fun to work with. I met all the technicians at one point or another and I appreciated the on-going dialogue as the extensive work on my Class A progressed. The whole team worked to solve each issue with ingenuity and creativity finding reasonable low cost solutions whenever possible. Many thanks and see you next fall for my annual inspection!

Very happy with the service here. Rick is the Man! Sent images of the unit to show what needed to be fixed and gave regular progress updates so I knew what the status was. Should I need any RV related in future I will be going back there.

I recently had to have a slide adjustment and repair done on our keystone Bullet trailer. I contacted Grampas RV Repair and from setting up the appointment to the completion of the job the professionalism of this shop was fantastic. I showed up at 9: 30 am and the job was completed by 12: 30. It was done right and for a very reasonable price. This was my first experience with Grampas and it will not be my last.
