There is a lady working in the bar her name is Gordona or Cordona like that she is very rude and do not have any customer service, I have asked her for coke and she was ignoring me and then become too tough and rude and asked me to get it from drink cards, I have spoke to the bar manager but he did not do anything to her, they should teach them how to respect people and be nice

For such a large casino, the lack of traditional six deck shoe games is shocking. $50 for high limit with a continuous shuffler? That doesn't make sense. This casino would get so much more business with proper shoe games, especially at the $25 & $50 level. CSM's are fine on low limit.but not high limit. Tables are dead because of that. Double deck games are OK, but prefer it was dealt face up than face down as the games would play much faster.

Nice little buffet approximately 30 seats, $35.50 per person. Not a large selection, but taste good. Free parking at the casino definitely an asset.

You wanna talk about electricity? I'm a red seal electrician, and I can say without a doubt that this was where electricity was invited. Few dudes playing blackjack and talking to women from Atlanta at the bar was how we harnessed the power of electrons to be able to make electricity.

Went to the buffet I think it may have been kitchen staff maybe management of some sort but dude sneezing in thw buffet area without covering his nose or preventing the trajectory of his nasal spray was kind of gross they probably have it on camera

My most winning casino. Need I say more? Love this place. Great food n atmosphere. Love the patio in the summer at Personas.

For under 10 buks, won twice out of 3 visits, and has old people machines that pay. Thanks grand villa for great time with my 82 year old mom who won 500 on stinking rich and I won 270 on buffalo gold.

Nice venue for events, good hotel for mid Burnaby, and of course the casino. Fun to be had.

Poker Needs Immediate Change.

There's a lot that can be said in critique of the poker room here at Grand Villa. I'll start off with the general things that need changing - the tables themselves are dated, the felt needs changing and the chips themselves are absolutely disgusting to handle. They are clearly very old, with some chips still brandishing celebratory Chinese New Year logos from I believe 2015. Two players at my table the other night had $1 chips crack along the bezel. Apart from that, the room itself is very cheap and has a bit of a cramped vibe. I am happy to report that the staff are excellent with handling questions and being overall very friendly, but, I have unfortunately encountered a lot of the floor managers turning a blind-eye repeated times to guests that are disorderly, drunk and abusive.

Most notably, there was one player who was clearly drunk, unwilling to wear his mask after having been asked to multiple times, being a general drunken nuisance to others and speaking a foreign language to another player at the same table (this is not acceptable for obvious reasons of collusion). A highlight for this player in question is when he requested chips and had to wait for a little while until an Asian chip runner came to give him his chips, his race is important as the player decided it was acceptable to mock the chip runner for his race by uttering radicalized phrases towards the chip runner and putting his hands together as if he was praying. The chip runner was visibly frustrated but nothing was done. It was seen by a lot of individuals and when another player at his table stated his displeasure for seeing the abuse that had happened, the player whom had requested chips began being irate and uttering slurs towards him, as well as threatening violence by jumping over the table toward him if he, "wouldn't shut the f_ up. "

I believe that it is the managers duty to give warnings and have the player leave the room. It was unwarranted ugliness and it could have gotten physical for no reason. The safety and well-being of all players and staff is paramount and that was complexly disregarded that night.

I am severely disappointed that no changes have been made to the poker room since the pandemic started-the pandemic was a silver-lining gift for the casino to make noticeable changes, but it seems that they do not care enough about the poker community to do so. I will happily be taking my business elsewhere until better management is appointed and the infrastructure changes.

I do not feel safe playing at peak hours at Grand Villa and I do not recommend any other players visit the casino until changes are made.

*I am open minded and willing to update my review if I am asked to revisit the casino when changes are made. *

Had a birthday lunch at Personas, service was good but I wouldn't dine there again. My wife ordered the pineapple calamari when it came to the table it was undercooked and had to be returned. The only thing pineapple about it was how it was cut.

I ordered the grilled cheese waffle BLT. The dish arrived it was two pressed grilled cheese sandwiches with BLT between the two sandwiches, it was not what I thought I would be getting. Very disappointed in the food overall.

The restaurants in this casino are all amazing. All menus are rich, exciting, and packed with flavours from around the world.

Always love going to this casino for a night out of a couple drinks and the bar staff is absolutely the best

Another good trip with our Seniors Group. Traffic there and home was good, no accidents or slowdowns. One of the ladies on the bus won but not me. Better luck next time for me.

The casino has done a great job with implementing Covid-19 restrictions. They are good about keeping it clean and reminding people to wear their masks. My biggest peeve is with the non-stop announcements for tables opening up. "Ticket # 123456, please go to Table X for Low-limit Blackjack. #123456 please go to Table X" A few minutes later "Ticket# 234567 please go to Table B for. Ticket #234567 to Table. " All night long! Can't they use the same alert buzzers they use at restaurants? Too much noise pollution!

Even though it was too busy, they have only opened 3 out of 5 tables for ultimate Texas hold'em. It would take hours to get your turn with such a big waitlist.

Also I am missing live roulette play here.

Great place to go and lose all your money and then leave feeling like a total chump! You could not even ask for a better night out! Pfffft!

Not enough tables open for people to play blackjack. Not everyone wants to spend $15 or $25 a hand to play. No fun if house always wins. Open more $5 tables

Clean lots of slots but since covid shut them down for over a year it seems like the machines are tighter than before. Didnt hear very many machines go off for big payouts

I really enjoy going to the Grand Villa casino.the staff is very courteous I find playing the slots very relaxing. I recommend this casino to anyone who wants to enjoy themselves, I personally think it's the best casino in Vancouver.

After 18 months of closing, i'm not sure if it was better before, because now, there is no chance on having some playing time. Let's be serious, i'm not going to the casino to become a rich person. I'm just looking for playing time. Unfortunately, i guess they want to recover 18 months of losing money due to closing, in what.a couple of months. Come on guys, let's be serious. And this not just at Grand Villa, it's everywhere you go.
So, was better when it was closed?

Lines were crazy long to get in and room service was very expensive and not that good.will try a different casino next time.

Tried to get some food at the centro bar but the bartender did not want to take the order and told me to go find a server and a place to eat.happened two times, near last call time.

If you need to hang out with friends after the metropolis mall is closed you can always stop by Grandvilla casino.
3 stars cause the place is a bit run down. 4 stars cause is open 24/7.

Crumbling Hotel, do not believe the 4 star rating, lousy coffee maker, for a 4 star at least provide a nespresso or keurig, we got a horrible room that faces all the hvac, the machines were whining all nite

Well it's back again the place that we enjoy playing and hanging out with our friends. After a year of pandemic now this place is open 24/7.

The games are great the slots are better and the food is excellent, I give the free Entree five stars and five stars for service
