Grandma Liu Hot Pot

Perfectly OK to have a decent hot pot, that they cook. Pock your own ingredients. A little expensive.

First time here. Free drink and free ice cream with every meal. Most self serve.

Room for improvement: the spoons provided are too shallow to scoop up the broth. Especially considering how deep each hotpot is. I recommend using better spoons.

In comparison to BigWay, this place is worse in everything.
Food, not tasty.
Service was terrible.of course, no welcoming. Drinks, ice cream, even utensil.we need to self-serve it. And when I ask when I can get ice cream, they tell me it is in the freezer while staying in the kitchen.

One thing I liked was ice cream. That was all.

Honestly, it's rarely to see a restaurant at this size has no parking spaces at all. The street parking spots which close to the store are limited, so be prepared spending at least 15-20 minutes to find yourself a parking around the restaurant. Second we come in around 7pm on Friday, they told us it takes 40mins to prepare the food, cause they sold out the soup base at this moment. Seriously? ! Friday night at the busiest hours you need your customer wait 40 minutes for food, because you don't do the preparation properly? ! If you want to come to this places for food, better call them to make sure they prepare enough soups base. This is my first time visiting this restaurant, and it's the last visiting for sure.

They only has one soup base, and did not offer any additional mix sauces for personalize the dipping.

The Northeastern lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic, the ingredients are fresh, and the soup is delicious. It comes with bone soup, and the best thing is the chili. All in all, it was a great experience today

Food is ok not the best. It's fast-food hotpot and doesn't have the actual hotpot atmosphere. You basically grab your own food and line up to pay for it and have the cook boil it for you at the back. They will call your number when it's cooked and you pick it up yourself food court style. This place is completely self serve and I mean grab your own bowls, chopsticks, napkins, food, sauce, etc. They only have 1 cashier and 1 or 2 cooks, no waiters no table service. Don't know why they expect a tip when it's basically fast-food hotpot.

No service and charge food and tips first, very expensive for food, bad service, everything is self serve but charge tips! This my first time and final time visit. Not recommend this restaurant!

Experience at this location has been better than Richmond one, bigger pot and friendlier staff, and is also our favorite Malatang place in lower mainland. The place is clean and feels spacious. They have promotion for free drink and ice cream. I can definitely recommend this place over most others in lower mainland for Malatang.

Not bad, price is reasonable and the restaurant is bright and clean. I got medium spicy which tastes like a mild spicy.

This place is very clean, friendly staff, great value, and delicious!

I enjoy the taste of the soup base and sometimes I am adventurous and try mildly spicy.

The place is always meticulously clean and has a great vibe to it.
