Quiet little area with a boat launch and few picnic tables just by the dyke there.
Lots of marshland and birds can be spotted here.
Gorgeous views of the water and mountains.

An awesome 1.5 hour flat circular trail through the marsh and adjoining lakes. Beautiful moumtain views in most directions. Parking can be an issue on busy weekends.

Hidden gem! Trail is bit muddy though. We spotted lots pf birds and ducks while doing the trail. Highly recommended to wear hiking shoes as trail gets muddy and slippery at various places. Incredible view of mountains and quiet place to sit and soak in the awesomeness of nature

Beautiful day for a walk. Trail was a bit muddy. Some wind but Snow Geese and an Eagle as well.

It’s a very popular park for all seasons, especially in summer. Great for boating and hiking.
-Beautiful scenery, looks like an oil painting. Pitt River from here turn into the Pitt Lake.
-One of the best attractions for wildlife photographer.
-Easy to launch kayaks, boats and canoes.
-The hiking trail is straight and wide. There’s a wooden watch tower on the trail, so you can see far away.

Awesome spot to view the surrounding mountains to Pitt lake. Drive there and simply park.
Rent a canoe for the day.
Busy boat ramp.
Decent walking ground for all ages.

Beautiful, picturesque park with views of the mountains and the lakes. Plenty of parking available as well as gravel trails. It is an exposed area so it can get windy and cold, so dress warmly for the weather. There are benches at the start and you could bring a snack and enjoy the views. Boat launch available for those who want to kayak or canoe in the clear waters.

Flat, easy walking trail with nice mountain views. Can be pretty long if you do the entire loop around the pond and down the walkway.

This is my happy place. We come here whenever we need to get away from the city. It's not uncommon to see many couples getting engagement photos taken, people walking their dogs, families and of course the bird watching is great. We've seen eagles, many ducks, swallows and on one occasion a kingfisher.

Great natural park with nice parking lot. But the road that lead to the park needs work - the asphalt is wearing out and there are potholes everywhere. Also there is no public bathroom on the park site.

Great spot not too far from the city for walking, boating, sightseeing. Lots of wildlife and natural sights to check out. If you bring a canoe or kayak there lots of day paddles that can be done. There is boat launch and dock so is easy to set off. Weather can be a bit dicey at times most notable the wind so check ahead. Used to need to pay for parking but since the pandemic has been free for overnight.

This is an all-season park, depending on what you wish to do. I think the boat launch is open all year. There's a long walking trail after the boat launch with the marsh on one side and the lake on the other. The areas around the park are very popular for prenup and wedding photos. Haven't explored much of the marshland but we're planning to do so once the weather improves, i.e. Summer. Outdoorsy people will appreciate this park a lot.

So pretty there! Had a photoshoot during sunrise, it was freezing as we did it during winter, but stunning! Easy to access minus a slightly bumpy road. Looked like the boat launch was in decent condition too.

I came here to watch the aurora. Although the aurora did not appear, I saw the sky full of stars. This is a good place to watch the stars.

An amazing place close to the city, but makes you feel like you have escaped to another world. The road going here is paved but extremely rough, so be careful and avoid as many potholes as you can.

I just felt weird that they said you couldn't use the dock to unload your boat but they had a muddy Marsh that you could use.

This is a totally underrated place. Has some amazing views both from the lake and from the widgeon creek. Very sad that there are not much facilities for visitors. There is not even a single washroom here. The decks are old and have gotten weak already. It gets very crowded on a nice sunny day and very hard to find parking.

Parking lot available, basically free, but not for overnight. Good place for family picnic and outdoor activities. Pretty wide and clean. It's about 15 to 20 mins driving from either Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows. Overall experience is good.

One of our favorite places! Dog friendly as long as they are on leash. Family friendly and a great walk or bike ride. Weekends and holidays are packed be prepared to park FAR.

This is a very scenic spot with access to nice walking trails and paddling destinations (widgeon Valley river system is very popular). We were paddling today. Heavenly scenic and quiet places, though can be a lot of kayak and canoe traffic. For a regional park, the facilities are astonishingly absent: no longer even the porta-potties they once had. The old canoe rental dock has broken into a dangerous twisted wreck. It's like after an apocalypse. Other local cities had trails marked one way to minimize covid contact. At this regional park, people will be seeking places to pee out of sight and may end up breaking a leg tripping off the end of the dock. This is a heavily used place that warrants some serious attention from those in charge.

Very basic, no facilities, boat docks falling apart. Very little parking and small area of 5 or 6 picnic tables. Lake is nice and has potential to be much better!

Beautiful scenery, quiet and family friendly place. Parking is easy, trails to walk and cycling.

Popular place. Crazy busy. Sunny Father's Day was not a decision, will surely come back on a weekday over the summer.
Came to do some kayaking, ended up in one of the rivers on our way out.
