I found them to be lacking in understanding and not very informative. It left me frustrated and dissatisfied with the level of service I received. Friendly service advisor and quick service.
Took my used car to make sure I’d get a trusted thorough (paid) vehicle inspection, only to find out a week later they overlooked things like struts and shocks that need to be replaced, suspension arm issues, and transmission oil, to mention a few examples. Very disappointing

At the beginning of 2022, in this car shop sianena, the salesman said that he would pick up the car in 6 months, but there was no news until now. I asked the manager once, but there was no definite answer. Not to mention that the factory stopped production in the middle, that is 3.4 months, plus the expected 6 months, or less than 10 months, now it has been more than a year. All the major dealers have sold the existing orders to the customers at a higher price, so fair, before ordering all say nice, after ordering, do not answer. You wouldn't know if I asked you. Do we have to ask Toyota general Corporation for an answer?

I went today to window shop for what might be my first newish car.they barely have any cars in the back for sale.everything is brand new no obvious used cars if there was I couldn't tel.no posted stats, no price sticker, no nothing.not even a sales person to bug or help us.big waste of time. It's odd because many years ago we got my grandma's corola from there and they had a full lot of cars for sale.this time.it's just sad.

I had the pleasure of dealing with the sales manager Robb Begg, who in a time sensitive situation generously offered to have our Toyota inspected by the service department even though we had not purchased our vehicle from his dealership. Service was friendly, honest & helpful. I highly recommend Robb & his staff at Granville Toyota.

Cars are not ready for test drive and dealership blame customer that it's their problem.
Was told to drive like that, but engine even didn't start.
Worst test drive ever!
Volkswagen dealer, Subaru dealer, Mitsubishi dealer, Honda dealer, Nissan dealer, all of them are 1,000% better than Toyota dealer!

Bought my new car at Granville Toyota from KC, had to wait to get my new car which is actually shorter than I expected. Trade in price was actually pretty good and I think this is one of the few dealerships that you don’t have to pay random dealership fee, documentation fee or dealer preparation fee in GVA lol. Those fee could cost upwards of 500$ To 1k. And they also offer dealership currency of $500 that I can use for service in future and come with free wheel lock and two sets of car mats (charged at other dealers of course lol). No hard sell at the Finance office. The trade off is there’s pretty much no cars on its lot. But I meant a $500+ savings in these high inflation days for just reserve your car in advance which you probably have to do it at other dealerships anyways. Highly recommend this dealership for anyone.

Excellent service performed. Only issue was when I reserved apt time I was told 1 hour both times (had to move apt) and when I got there it was a 2 hour apt which was frustrating as I would have brought more to fill my time.

Brought our 2015 Highlander in for an electrical issue that we couldn’t figure out at home. Service techs diagnosed and took care of what turned out to be a minor problem, and had us back on the road within 2 hours and for way less $$ than we expected. Definitely returning for our service needs! Thanks Rob and team!

Incompetent mechanics. Told them I might have an AC leak because AC not cold when hot. Kept my car for half the day only to recharge my AC and did not do a leak test. Charged me nearly $400 for not doing a proper inspection. A week later everything leaked out. Another shop found the leak for me at half the price.

Not the fault of the dealership, chip shortage caused major delays in delivery which in turn is causing big problems on the consumer end. I would have to find alternate to accommodate in the meantime and worse, no concrete estimated delivery date from already missed promised delivery date.

It's unfortunate to see what I can only assume are illegitimate negative reviews, given that they do not actually explain their reasoning behind one star.

I can confidently say that I am happy to recommend Granville Toyota to my friends and family. I will admit as well though that I did have some frustration while waiting for my Tacoma, but I can't blame a single dealership for a global shortage on supply chains. The front-end team were all wonderful to work with leading up to the arrival of my truck and the service/parts teams have been easy to communicate with after getting my truck as well. I must personally thank Bernie too. I respect this dealership as a whole because they don't sneak in extra fees. We are in a MSRP priced market still and they keep it as simple as that. The customer currency, tire and oil perks are also HUGE and not something you see often, if at all.

I'm not sure what is the purpose behind the bad review storm but it seems unfair for the dealer. The long waiting happens everywhere though. Nobody can guaratee the delivery time ppl

The worst customer service ever. They greet friendly at the first meeting but do not care to talk after the deal is done. They do not pick up calls for follow ups and don’t treat you well in-person. I felt like they do not care for the customer, they could not even offer a seat in the office. I was promised 6 months waiting time for my car. All they say is take your money back! No value for time. Don’t waste your time with them if you are buying a new car. Worst customer service experience ever.

Absolutely 100% first rate experience! After being supremely disappointed by my dealership of choice for over 10 years, I went to Granville Toyota and encountered Diaa who was absolutely phenomenal - a no BS, straight shooter, who will bend over backwards to get it done right. My purchase involved a vehicle that is highly in demand (and due to global supply chains are also in very short supply.) I decided to purchase the showroom model on the spot. I had to wait for delivery until there was a replacement vehicle - which is completely understandable due to the state of global supply chains at the moment. Alas, I happily expected to wait months. Within weeks I had my car! This dealership is family owned and really tries to make you a customer for life. Success in my case. Very well done!

The worst Toyota dealership that I have been into. I don’t know where to start with. But I want to say this as a warning to anyone who’s planning to buy vehicles: DO NOT go to this dealership. They have this what they call: No documentation fee, dealership currency card, and customer for life. Do not fall for these sweets especially when you have trade in. The manager Robert will low ball your trade in. When I say low it is really low. You go to Canadian black book and you can see your vehicle trade in value. Robert will low ball your trade in even well below the minimum. He’s going to make sure he will recoup those sweets offer. Just to give you an idea: He priced my trade in at $17,540 and after just a day passed he's selling it for $24,895. A whooping 42% increase!
The condition of my trade in (Toyota) was excellent. No scratches and complete Toyota service with accessories (hitch, custom floor mats). I even mentioned to him that it has newly replaced fluids (transmission, brake, coolant) and new battery from Toyota. He said that it doesn't matter. He doesn't honor any Toyota service except from Granville apparently. But I don't believe it because just after a day of the transaction, I saw my vehicle on their ads right away.

To be fair, this dealership is GOOD for NO TRADE IN (no documentation fee, etc). But if you have, DO NOT go to this dealership.

The thing is that i couldn't back out anymore because apparently, my deposit is non-refundable. This is the first that i experienced this non-refundable deposit. But i got my deposit back from other dealership because they didn't have of the vehicle I wanted at that time.

And this salesperson Dia is ok. He tries his best to really give you something that will make you happy but ask him to put it on paper. Because he will promise you something in words but in the end he’s not going to do it. He’s going to say i” it’s just between you and me I am going to give you this. But at the end of the day, he will back out or nothing happened at all after the deal is done.

If it is only for the salesperson, Dia, I will give 4 star. But with my experience with the sales manager, I give it 2 stars.

After picking up my 1991 Toyota Corolla from my regular small auto place, I noticed the interior dome light was out! My regular place is so inconveniently located, so even though I'm a 70 year old woman, I decided to try to change the light myself. I bought a new bulb at Granville Toyota Parts & Service on 41st, but the light didn't work! Service Advisor Frank Cortese came out, did trouble shooting, found out the $2.02 fuse needed replacing and did the work for free. You better believe I'm taking my Corolla there from now on!

Terrible service. I took my Toyota Sequoia to them for repair. After replacing the mirror, they asked me to pay the full amount despite having ICBC coverage. I offered to pay the deductible, but they insisted that I pay the full amount and claim it back from ICBC myself. They then removed the new mirror and put the broken one back on and told us to go elsewhere. Very rude, unreasonable and inappropriate behaviour.

After purchasing a vehicle from them, I have had consistently poor service and interactions with this location. Multiple departments simply will never call you back, or answer in the first place.

Busy dealership in one the busiest vancouver areas. I dealt with deya who was pleasant, helpful and not your typical pushy salesmen. It was certainly easy to find the location with plenty of parking available. I was slightly disappointed by the minimal display units in the showroom.

I bought a Toyota from Brian Engstrom a few years back.

Over these few years, Brian has:
- Given me a price on a new Toyota that no other Toyota dealer would match
- Consistently followed up in a non-intrusive way to make sure everything was going well with my new car, and always leaving a cheerful note during the holidays. Always a genuine guy.
- During this past Christmas, I forgot some paperwork for exporting my car at the border. I called up Brian frantically and even though it was during the holidays, he sprung into action and found all the documents I needed.boy was I impressed.

Customer service above and beyond!

I have recently updated Apple Car Play on my 2018 Camry Toyota; nevertheless all staffs looked super busy, they all were smiling and quick to help me and all other customers very kindly. Usual wait time for getting your car fixed is at least an hour or more. They have a service to drive you somewhere to drop off and even come back to pick you up! Impressed! Thumbs up!
