I have been meaning to write this review before Christmas and unfortunately forgot. But Barkley was my stylist she is absolutely wonderful she made me feel totally relaxed and wehad a great chat. Of course not to mention the fact that i absolutely love my cut! I can’t remember when i was completely happy with the entire cut. I will definitely be back to see Barkley! Also place is really nice very nice receptionists. Awesome atmosphere very welcoming!

Hair cut nearly 2 inches shorter than requested and indicated on back of neck by stylist. Haircut took literally five minutes. No length matching was done at all. Nearly half inch difference in side lengths. Cursory review of haircut. Stylist very standoffish.

At payment where tip was given through interac, stylist was sarcastic about the amount. Honestly, I could probably have given myself a better haircut for free.

Even though it was a busy back-to-school weekend, I got in quickly thanks to the online check in and people hustling in the salon. Everyone was smiling and friendly and I was happy as always with the haircut Andrea gave me. Thanks!

It took all of 5 minutes and when I came home my hair was all uneven. I returned the next day and Aderra evened out my haircut at no charge, Thank you.

90% of the time I get a haircut that I like. The other times are ok or ick. I love how I can checkin on the app instead of going to the salon, get added to the list, and then wonder around for a few minutes. I’m not much for chatter, but sometimes they get me out of my shell to keep me occupied while I get my hair cut.

We had a very friendly, brief chat. I was taken in right away & I was back out in about 12 minutes. I fussed & she did exactly what I wanted - no more, no less. Great place for a budget haircut!

I took my eight year old son here for a haircut. He has longer hair and the hairdresser suggested he try layers and ended up hacking a ton of hair off and left him looking like a scarecrow and the ends aren’t even. The hairdresser was incredibly rude when I commented that we didn’t want it too short and was very insistent about the style she was suggesting. She was very confrontational and left me feeling sick to my stomach.

Since posting this the owner of the salon contacted me and was very apologetic and offered to fix my son's hair for free and outlined the steps she took to resolve this with the staff person. I really appreciated her response.

Yes, very pleased. New stylist- she received direction from a gal that had notes on computer. She was focused and very pleasant.

I got my usual buzz cut and was quite pleased with the final product. Angela is a remarkable hairdresser.as are all the girls in the salon.

SPEND A BIT MORE MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE GOOD! Years ago i’ve come here and they messed up my hair but it’s new staff so thought i’d give it a try and i told her that and that i wanted the most experienced so she said that was her i don’t know her name but dark hair probably in her 40s.she tried to make the front bits a little shorter and make it blend in nice but it looked like the choppiest thing i’ve ever seen so i asked her so smooth it out more and i ended up just telling her to stop because i knew it would keep getting worse.nothing against the staff they’re all nice but i wouldn’t trust them with your hair.i just went home and cried

Great clips have done my haircuts for the past year. I have very fine, staight & thinning short hair. Three different stylists have all done an excellent haircut for me and at a great price for a senior. Even though it's a drive for me, the increase cost of gas is more than comensated for by the quality of the haircut and the price I pay.

I went to Grate clip to cut my long hair to 10 cm shorter because it accepted walk-in customers.

The stylist has done cutting in 10 mins because she did not need to make layers, cut the bangs, trim in detail, wash, blow, and set. So she would have used her scissors less than 15 times.

I had not expected an excellent haircut and styling because I knew this salon offered their service at a reasonably priced and fast job. The result would be within the price.

My go to salon. Easy to book appointment online. They memo your preferences for your next visit if you wish. And they offer coupons via email from time to time which is a bonus. Staff is great, knowledgeable and super friendly.

Despite your best efforts to explain what you'd like, how your hair ends up looking after your cut tends to be about as predictable as the next winning lottery numbers. Perhaps you get what you pay for, but I'm inclined to say you get less.

I came here asking for some layers and face framing bangs. The entire time, my stylist continued to insult my hair making fun of how damaged it was (not that it matters at all, but my hair is definitely fine. I had never dyed it before and didn’t use heat regularly). I just awkwardly laughed and talked about how much I care for it. After 15 minutes, she said that if she took the time to cut off all my split ends, it would be a 5 hour appointment so she rushed me out with wet hair. I still tipped. When my hair dried, it was completely uneven. Most noticeable part were my bangs, each side had a maybe 2.5 inch difference in length and were instead of face framing like I asked, were cut completely straight across. I have severe anxiety and desperately didn’t want to go back to ask to get it fixed, but I couldn’t afford to go somewhere else.after a couple hours I pushed myself to go and I just very politely asked if they could add just a little more texture. She rolled her eyes and spoke incredibly sternly. She made my hair worse and before I said anything she said “there’s not much I can do because I don’t want you coming back saying it’s too short later”. I ended up fixing it myself in my own bathroom. I am not picky at all and this was the first time I decided to stand up for myself getting something fixed and I did it in a very calm understanding manner and THIS is how I was treated. Anyway my parents like it here which is why I gave it 2 starts and not 1. Maybe they just don’t like teenagers.

I was happy to have a salon who DIDNT give me some hang up as to why they can’t cut a dudes hair for another whole month

Wish there was an option to request specific people, most cuts are good but have had a couple from people that while very friendly didn’t understand what I wanted and I left dissatisfied. Last time I went I asked for less volume up top and ended up with my 5 inches of hair reduced to 1.5, not what I wanted and wished stylist would have checked in a bit more.

Took my son in for an emergency hair adjustment before school started. The stylist was friendly, the price was good, and my son was really happy with his cut. I also liked the online queue, it worked really well.

Great haircut for good price = value. Bonus as the stylist was really nice and made my daughter feel comfortable.

Was very good, highly recommend coming here for an amazing haircut.

Staff are so pleasent

If your page says colour services you should probably do colour services. They also wouldn't answer phone to confirm services offered. Just a waste of time.

Wow this place went above and beyond! I had my hair styled here for my friends wedding and my hairstylist did such an amazing job. She worked quickly but flawlessly at the same time, and went above and beyond with styling my hair. My hair even looked better than the brides (but I won’t tell her that!) Would come here again just for the styling.

Very quick and good hair cuts. We were going to first choice. Which should be called worst choice! My dad and husband both get their cuts done here and have had zero issues. Very friendly and quick in style cuts

Online check in is almost completely ignored in favor of walk-ins. I booked online, saw the wait was 20 mins, drove there, and ended up waiting another 30 mins before I decided to leave. If someone books online they should have a spot saved, or what is the point of checking in?

I have had this happen multiple times at this location and do not plan on returning.

Very friendly staff and environment. I like online booking system. Only one small reminder you need a coat bag there.

I have been going here for 5+ years and I have NEVER had a bad haircut. This is the ONLY place I rely on for my haircut because the service is fantastic, the haircutters are friendly yet professional, and the prices are reasonable. You couldn't pay me to go to other places for a haircut, not even salon or sports barbers. A few times over the years I've given other places chances, but every time I go back here. Especially shoutout to Corina (might not have spelt your name right sorry) who has cut my hair many times there and does an amazing job. Can't recommend this place enough:)

Nice hair cut and friendly staff. Dropped one star because there was a bit of an issue but that was rectified quickly and professionally.

When you ask for bangs, the first cut should not be above the eyebrows! Stylists need to remember that you can always go shorter but you can't go longer. Wouldn't let this place touch my hair EVER again.

Great clips was a "Great Experience. " I was able to walk right in. Mask on of course and get an affordable haircut quickly. The staff and patron's were all following Covid guidelines and my stylist was on point. Thanks Great Clips for another great cut.

The ladies cutting hair were so kind and lovely with my girls, however the haircuts were terrible and very uneven.

Was welcomed immediately and registered, was a walk in. (Corinne?) Great lady, great hairdresser! In and out and lots of compliments on my very fashionable new style. Deff go back if I'm in town for long enough. Good job! And spacious and clean place too.

You get what you pay for. The business model here is fairly obvious. Charge a low rate, but recoup that money by high volume of cuts. After the longest wait and sloppiest most rushed cut I've had in years, I would recommend saving money another way. Hair is too important to risk.

You get what you pay for. My son and husband have been coming here for awhile and their hair usually looks decent afterwards. I finally decided to give it a shot and it was a disaster. It looked like someone just took a big knife and macheted off my hair. No layering, thinning, or any actual styling included in this price. I ended up going to a mid-range salon 2 days later to fix the tragedy and now my hair looks fantastic. The real stylist also said the cut wasn't even straight. (If you're only going to do one thing, do it right!) The only reason this is 2 stars and not 1 is because the mobile app is a cool feature and I should have expected what I got for the price. Maybe this place is fine for men's cuts but ladies.you deserve to feel confident, so spend an extra $20 and go somewhere better!

Took my son for a haircut. Nothing too difficult, trimmed on the sides and thinned out and trimmed on top. My son likes to spike his hair, she cut almost everything off the top including the colour that was in it. My son was very disappointed. When I said that's a lot more than I asked for she said do you want more off! I will never go back and will be telling everyone I know not to as well.
